"Heh, better than being kicked around," Vence replied. "I used to be that kid that everyone thought they could boss around. I let them do it, too, because I had more important matters, usually... hence the uneven fight," Vence said, chuckling. He glanced up as well, looking toward the two moons.
"They look like they are about to collide," he commented. "Every year, I watch to see if that will ever happen...even when i know it won't."

"Wanna switch lives?" She laughed alittle. "I'd rather be fending for myself then being craddle like a baby all the time. Don't worry, you showed yourself off well" A few flowers sprouted up nearby. Mayloo was getting alittle bored, so what better thing to do then add something nice to clash well with the moons light.
"That would be abit scary huh? Leaving the night in complete dark cause the two moons crashed on the day of a festival for them" Her head tiltled to the side abit in a sign of further examination.

"I'll take that as a complement, then," Vence said, smiling.
"And yes, It would really suck," He added, wondering how it would play out. "It'd be the beginning of an apocolypse."
By now the moons appeared to be almost touching. Soo, it would begin. He might as well make for the ceremonial coutyard, if he wanted to be there on time.
"The crowning will be in about twenty five minutes. Care to join me?" He asked, motioning towards the castle.

Mayloo nodded. "You should"
Laughing abit at Vence's comment, she had to agree. "Yes, the apocolypse. I wonder what that will bring." It was alittle strange how she seriously considered something in a joke, but she was always pretty random like that.
Vence got off the fence to go to the ceremony, and even gestured an offer for her to come as well. "Might as well" She managed to flash a smile to him regardless of the boredum the ceremony would cause.

[Little do they know that boredome is something only fools would view the scene as... twisted muahaha!]
Vence returned her smile, as the two of them began to walk toward the ceremony. Rather than walk in silence, which Vence found the idea being rude, He decided to strike up another conversation. He had just met this girl, after all...Mayloo, if he remembered her name correctly.
"So, Mayloo, You live around here or where?"

(( XD oh no!))
The walk was alittle awkward, and she couldn't exactly come up with anything to say.
Thankfully Vence had spoken. "Not here, but instead Sraeal. I live in an ok place" She gave a shrug. "Definantly not my preference though. What about you?"
Although she was looking at him in expectance of a response, her feet still carefully shuffled to avoid running into anything.
((Hahaha, yes!))

"Sraeal, huh? I don't live too far from there, actually," Vence said, grinning.
"On the far side of the lake, there's a small village, not even worth putting on a map. We have maybe...3 dozen people. We all know each other, and we all help each other. Once in a while you might see one of us in Sraeal for trading. We're the ones with the, uh...well, we usually trade clothing, actually. The grams of the village, y'know? They have so much spare time," He added at the end, throwing in some humor.

"Really?" She shock her head smiling as well.
"It can't be that small, 3 dozen people are just as important as 2 thousand." Mayloo listened to the describtion of his people, or atleast the vague appearance he gave them. "Trading clothes eh? Cotton pants and shirt, comfy yet functional." A small giggle passed her lips.
"Have you taken any trips into my town yourself?"

"Eh, once or twice. I remember one time I visited for training purposes...If you think back two years, there was an....event, that coccured in Sraeal. When one of the houses caught fire, and rumors of two men dueling in the burning house. I can tell you that part is true. That was me and my teacher. The reson there was no charges was because my teacher paid the Sraealian government to be allowed it....and it was fun." Vence said, grinning all the more, recalling the memory.
"So, I was that one kid who sat around and did chores if I wasn't training. How about you?" he asked, curious.

"Two years ago...Yes, I think I remember the smoke drifting around through town" The words 'duel' and 'fire' caught more of her interest then the rest for she knew of elemental powers being possessed by a few lucky.
The people, his teacher and him, both were dueling, inside a house that happened to catch fire. And yet, it sounded as if they remained inside regardless. Maybe her suspicion was something to question later.
"Me? I just stayed within the walls of our garden pretty much. Never allowed to venture out. However, I did get rare trips to the market." Her statement started off disappointed, but worked it's way to a more proud tone.

"Heh heh, yes, the marketplace; the one place where it doesn't matter who you are, as long as you buy something," Vence replied, laughing towards the end. After a few seconds of laughter, he calmed hismelf a little more, yet retained the cheerful self active, as always.
"So you never did anything? Not even bribe an elfling to cause some trouble? Those Elvlings can be very good troublemakers, unlike the fully matured elves," Vence mention, pretending to sound like he was teaching, when it was really common knowledge. What he left out, was convincing elvlings was difficult, which was why he had mentioned bribing.

She gave a nod of understanding. The marketplace wasn't such a horrid place. If you sold or bought, you were accepted there. A smile still came across her lips as Vence kept a cheery aura about.
"Bribe elvlings? really? Hm...They never seemed so friendly." Mayloo considered this seriously. "I suppose the money makes them do otherwise."
Still not knowing whether Vence was telling the truth or not, she still carried the idea with her. "Hm...well you might know better considering you've done more."

"It does. My teacher, Brahm was his name, he was an elf. He told me when he was young, He acted more foolish than most human boys acted. Of course, he also told me he was an energetic sort, and liked trouble. When I visted Sraeal, I say a few Elvlings that looked like they were ready to cause some mischief, until Brahm called them off. That's when he mentioned the bribing part to me," Vence explained, becoming a little more serious, yet retaining the friendly sense.
"I have to admit, I must confess I did bribe one once. I'll tell you, it's funny to watch a tree root juggle apples...don't ask," Vence said, holding back laughter that would surely any otherwise call too mcuh attention to himself.

"Hm...you teacher was a fellow elf who told you of such things? Well I suppose that isn't bad. Now a human telling you would seem rude."
Now she picked at her gloves abit for they were growing uncomfortable.
"You bribed once hm? And you got humour from it? Wow...hope it wasn't any task to harsh." Her eyebrows arched in curiousity for the thing unasked about was almost persued anyways. She stopped herself though since it was most likely an inside sort of joke. Besides...
What her mind was really wrapped in was the ever lingering guess. He had to hold an element. His teacher being an elf, a natural magic carrier, and the whole fire house while dueling....it had to be an element.

"Oh no, it was nothing like that. It was for entertainment purposes only. These couple kids figured they knew more about magic than I did. Of course, they were right, at the time. So, I got his elfling to help me out. I had to pay him my month's allowance, but it was well worth it."
[evil baddie posted! mrgreen not quite finished yet, though; I still need a pic (probably tektek) and another pic of his sword and scythe]
