"Philosophy is questions that may never be answered. Religion is answers that may never be questioned." unknown

"Where knowledge ends, religion begins."
Benjamin Disraeli

"Hell is an outrage on humanity. When you tell me that your deity made you in his image, I reply that he must have been very ugly."
Victor Hugo

"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?"
- Epicurus

my fav and I have my own saying.
If Christians were 100% correct when it comes to life and religion I'd choose to go to hell, It'll have much more interesting people.

I like that quote by Epicurus and yours isn't too bad, although the last part sounds like a quote by Machiavelli, at least I think it was Machiavelli. He basically said, to the best of my memory:
"In Heaven I shall be in the company of friars and monks. In Hell I shall be in the company of Kings and Popes."

God does not play dice with the universe; He plays an ineffable game of his own devising, which might be compared, from the perspective of any of the other players, to being involved in an obscure and complex version of poker in a pitch dark room, with blank cards, for infinite stakes, with a dealer who won't tell you the rules, and who smiles all the time.

Terry Pratchett

Gods don't like people not doing much work. People who aren't busy all the time might start to think.

Terry Pratchett
