well, to play devil's advocate, it is perfectly reasonable for her to want her fair share of rolalties for the video.
And also, theoretically, this could have not been something that bothered either of them so much, and could be done in a friendly way.
For example, say the people controlling the money from thriller were hogging it (namely AEG/Sony...it may not have been michael at all) and she wasn't getting her fair share.
The thing with leagal stuff like this is there's a lot of read tape to go through when you want to get something done.

He was talking about the past. After time they did become great friends and I am sure it turned into more of a brother/sister thing.

I really don't think she was attracted to him. She figured he wanted to marry her so he wouldn't lose her. She ensured that he would have her forever, so they didn't need to get married. I think what really tore apart their friendship was her first marriage. From what I gathered they still talked on the phone and the last time he called her was 2 weeks before his death.

I don't know what to believe about it all, because none of that came from his mouth. It all came from Brooke. You never know.
