That's pretty effin awesome dude.
I researched a bit on sweep-picking. I'm alright at it... still not as fast as i'd like to be.
How good are you at guitar?

getting real fast at sweep picking might take a while but u just gott keep trying...even after youre ready to smash ur guitar
anyway ive been playing for bout 15-16 years something like that and i dont think im that good but other people seem to think i am rolleyes

If you can sweep-pick accurately, i'd say you're better than most. smile

I've been playing guitar more than 10 years (I stopped counting after that point). I'm not a soloist at all. I prefer chord progressions over reading sheet music and/or tabs. I also sing when I play, so chording is much easier at that point.
I think tabs are for people not creative enough to do their own thing.

That, and its for people who can't quite read sheet music.

Chords work well if you can sing along with them, or if you have someone else along with you to sing. It'd probably be easier for you to get a record deal if its just you and your guitar, versus a soloist who only knows how to solo. smile

i like playing anything really melodic or like extreme thrash i dont think i have a favorite song to play but if i had to pick it would probably be one that i wrote

I like playing Bossa Nova type stuff, or most anything that sounds good on my spanish guitar.

I´m playing a Bossa version of Because by the Beatles a lot. It´s just relaxing.

wow thats amazing! I wish I could play like that... I learned guitar about a year and a half ago... so I'm not great...

I can only do basic chords, do scales, and strum patterns

The video goes through a pretty thorough walk-through. And he makes it really easy to play.... minus the strumming.
