The Dueling Arena ~The RP~

Javier landed again and had enough time to jump back as the other boy ran his Manticore into his. When the collided the frozen one shattered into pieces but the other remained.

In this short time two more contestants had entered the arena. Javier began to get tense. Now he had more competetion...well...he could hardly expect it.

He made for the last Manticore. It was heading for the young boy he had started off with. Now, he wanted to win but not at the cost of his life. Javier called out a warning to the other guy. He ran over and stood in between he and the Manticore.

The Manticore seemed un-nerved by this sudden act of heroism. It took a great swing at them both. Javier felt a giant palm collide with his left side and sweep him off his feet. Numbing pain swept through him but he clung to the hand that had hit him. He could feel the heat from beneath the Manticores skin. He crawled quickly up the arm but the Manticore plucked him off easily. He was turned upside down being held by his leg. His staff fell to the ground.

"Great..." he muttered as he was turned to face the Manticore. It roared in his face sending a wave of reeking air at him. Javier almost fainted from it alone. He struggeled but the thing tossed him the lenght of the arena. He hit the ground at a painful angle.

He was dazed from the throw and lay there for a minuet. He recovered to find he was just beside his staff. He scooped it up and turned back to the battle.

Ryu looks at the Manticore and pulls at both his blades. "time to die beast. Sonic surprise. Sonic Arrow."

The Manticore was shot into the air then Ryu jumped at it with both blades pionting at the monster. Ryu then went right threw it and landed easily and thought to himself.

Humans are so weak that they couldn't even over power such a weak creature

The commador guy says "whoa we gt a cool one lets heat him up with a dragon folks." and the crowd starts cheering

Myst walks to the middle of the arena.  

[Kokuwagata]

Malem walks up to the collosseum.

"Is this big gated entrance the entrance to the seats?"

The strangers don't answer her in the streets

"Umm..."

She walks on in...and promptly walks down a large marble corridor. A thick gate opens and closes behind her...she walks into a large open area and steps in the corpse of a dead manticore.

"Oh I'm so-...eww...waitaminute...crap. Hey excuse me...uh observers or whoever, there seems to be a mistake..."

The observers couldn't hear her, and it appears that at least one other person was in the arena by accident.

"Wait, did he just say what I think he said? Uhh..."

Her face had a worried expression for a second...

"Okay."

Then she placed her right foot forward, her left foot back, extended her right hand back elbow flexed, but wrist relaxed. She extended her left arm forward, palm outstretched. She too a deep breath deep into her lungs, and focused on circulating the chi in her body.

The Dragon slowly walked out of its gate and let out a huge roar.

This might be wroth my time thought Ryu ready to fight.

The Dragon shoot a fire ball at the new girl. Ryu then runs in front of the girl and said "move it girl" , and Ryu hit the fireball. The Dragon then shoots more without stoping. Ryu only knocks the fireballs away

Annoucer guy says "look folks the cool kid can't even strike the beast do you think he'll make it bets will be accepted." Most of the people betted for the dragon to kill the people in the arena.  

[Kokuwagata]

She backflips out of the way and frowns. She hates being the damsel in distress. Nobody back home respected her as a shaman because she was a girl. The reason why she got the implants was to exceed their capabilities.

She runs in a circle around the dragon, and releases a lightning flurry of kicks, before focusing and releasing a punch, her fist glowing with chi.

The punch seemed to be the only thing that did any damage, and it only drew a little blood, irritating the dragon more than actually injuring it.

"Damn..."

The dragon then whipped it's tail sending Malem flying, but she managed to do a backflip in the air...but landed hard and stumbled.

Myst runs up to the dragon, expertly dodging the dragon's attacks; he quickly pulls a sword from his cloak, jumps onto the dragon's head, slashing it across the face. He then drew a cloth from his cloak and cleaned his sword, then sheathed it. He did a backflip off the dragon's head and landed softly on the marble floor.

Malem thinks for a moment, then sits down and closes her eyes. She opens her mouth, and a silvery mist emerges, and slips inside the dragon. Her tattoos and eyes, through her eyelids, glow bright blue.

And then her body goes limp, as if dead.

The dragon no longer has smouldering magma red eyes, but now has a cold blue tone.

The dragon suddenly flies upward, and then takes a headfirst dive. Several seconds before hitting the ground, the dragon blinks, and the redness returns, as the silvery mist slips out of the dragon's body.

The dragon, not completely sure of what exactly has happened, but realizing the danger it is in, quickly manages to correct itself from slamming headfirst into the ground, but is not capable of slowing it's rapid descent, and it's side slams into the ground, breaking one of it's wings and creating a gaping wound on it's leg as it scrapes along the ground under it's massive weight.

Malem gets up, wiping a few drips of blood from her nose, and a few slashes on her face which materialized after the mist returned. She resumes her stance, and waits for the dragon's next move.

"I was honestly hoping that would have killed it...It looks like someone else will have to do it for me...I can't risk another soul dive without causing severe damage to myself..."

She looks at the injury on the leg and the broken wing...Malem didn't have wings, but she was certain if she dived into the dragon again, something equivalent would be broken. Meanwhile the dragon was confused and enraged...and started to fire a barrage of fireballs all around it, creating a small conflagration around it.

"that's it" said Ryu running at the beast. "Sonic Marrage" yelled Ryu passing the flames with ease then jumping above the dragon. Ryu started into a nose dive with his hands near his face since they still have the swords in them, then he started stabing at it and the wind took it from there.

The dragon felt the sharp stabs and got even more annoyed but felt weaker since the stabs were aimed were the brian is.  

[TFTLS]

Myst calmly walked up to the dragon and stabed it in the heart, killing it instantly. "It wasn't a real dragon." He said to the other people in the arena. "If we had been up against a real dragon, we would all be dead right now." He again cleaned his sword and put it away, then walked back to the middle of the arena.

Narrator guy- "so folks what should we bring out next should we bring out a new attraction we found in the fields or should we let them fight vampires"

The aduince decided they wanted to see the new creature.

Narrator guy- "okay what you wish but be careful this thing had a huge lunch it ate a whole dragon which for some reason it gained some of the dragon's charistics."

A huge alien thing mixed with dragon DNA came out.

"oh my god not those things these humans won't stand a chance" said out loud Ryu by accidant.  

[Kokuwagata]

"I don't like having to do this..."

She walks over to a dead manticore, and plunges her hand into where it's heart is, and a greenish glow surges through her hand...traveling along the "tattoos", changing it from a blue color to an aquamarine color.

The "thing", then all of a sudden lashed out with a tentacle, forcing her to dodge. She takes off running, and then heads for the dragon's corpse.

"This is the vilest defilement of a dead thing I can do, but I don't have much choice..."

She then plunges her hands into the sword wound in the dragon's heart, and a red mist envelops her body, and changes the tattoo to a blackish color, which radiates power...almost sinister in nature.

She then focuses on the "thing" which then lashes another tentacle at her. Malem, with unnatural speed cuts through the tentacle with her hand. Or what appears to be a black extension of it. Both ends of the tentacle burst into flame, and fizzle with some sort of poison.

She seems different than before...as if possessed on some level...and charges like a wild beast at the "thing".

With a flurry of swipes, leaping and dodging, her fighting style has changed drastically. She fights less like the controlled martial arts before, and more like a wild beast. Limbs and tentacles, flesh and fragments of bone, fly off the beast.

But it seems to regenerate, and begins changing form from a draconian body type, to that of a bizarre parody of a flower, except the petals are made of a solid carapace, and only the very tip is exposed, and from there, now only a single large tentacle protrudes.

Malem briefly stops to rest.

Javier scowls at this...Ryu character....human? Pah! He pushes it aside as he has other things to worry about at the moment.

One of the fire balls from the dragon hit him full on but left no scratch on him. He watched as it was massacred and yet another beast emerged.

It was true he had not expected so much...he was young and just beginning compared to the other older guys who knew what they were doing.

During his moment of silence the tentacle came lashing out at him. He flinched but couldn't move in time. It wrapped around his legs and pulled quickly forward, making him do a backflip before landing painfully on his back yet again.

He still held his staff and jumped back to his feet. The tentacles this time wrapped itself around his body, squeezing tight. Javier scrwed up his face in pain and let a short yell of pain escape him. On the tentacle seemed to be sharp pincers. He still held his staff and could feel a trickle of blood seeping down his arm.

As the thing drew him in he began to grow faint. He knew he would surely die here and now if he didn't act. He concentrated and his body began to heat up. He opened his eyes a moment later and they were completly red.

Then all of a sudden flame engulfed the tentacle. It quickly released Javier who dropped back to the ground. He stumbled back away from it eyes normal again and panting...His right arm hung limp at his side and bleeding in several places but not sereverly.

For a while, Myst doesn't do anything. He watches the creature's movements and attacks. Then he pulls out of his cloak two sets of swordchucks (like nunchucks, only with swords on the ends) and attacked the creature, creating large gashes all over it.

The creature ignored the gashes and prepared to swallow Malem after snathing her up then it graped Javier and Myst so it can gain the strength and powers of all the fighters.

Ryu ran up to the beast and yelled "Die you Ziriaex monsrtastity. Sonic pierce-through" and Ryu stopped on the alliens head and stabbed it with all his might. Ryu's blades went right threw the skull. Ryu hoped it would let go and did and the others landed on the ground, but the allien was still alive.
