The Mirror

When you look in the mirror what do you see there?
Is it the face of someone you know real well,
Or hardly at all, can you tell?
Sometimes the face might be familiar, except for the eyes.
They are the windows to our soul, surprise surprise!

But there is another kind of mirror, besides a looking glass.
It reminds us of our likes and dislikes and even our pasts.
This mirror is a reflection of our selves that we see when we
look at others.
Yes the one we use when we condemn our sisters and brothers

You know our spiritual family and friends, or even the ones
we don’t know but ridicule just the same.
We point out all the things we see that we don’t like about
Our selves what a sorry game.

When we look in those mirrors do you know what we should
see ?
It’s the image of that awesome man that set us free.
And the hope that others have a chance to pick that
reflection out.
Then the mirror of our soul would be clean, there is no
doubt.

Do You Hear Him Knocking (Rev. 3:20)

Do you hear him knocking, knocking at your door?
It’s not a normal knock it’s really much, much more.
It’s a gentle soft voice that speaks to your heart.
You really have to listen that is how you start.
Open the door and welcome Him in with a loving tone.
He’ll come and sup with you; you’ll partake of food you’ve
never known.
The meal will be so sumptuous; you’ll never get your fill.
And from this you will learn how to be doing Gods will.
Do you hear Him knocking, knocking at your door?
Open it let Him in, get to know Him for sure.

Are You Ready?

This is a question asked a lot in this fast paced age,
The time is coming is what you hear and its on the scriptures’ page.
It’s shown in everything man does that the day is fast drawing near,
And if you listen carefully its in every thing you hear.
They write about it and talk about it its even on the news page,
You see it on the television in the wars they wage.
But do you really think about it and know what it all means,
You say you do but do you? You think you do it seems.
You think because you go to church or you sit in a pew,
You think this makes you ready but there’s something you never knew.
That it doesn’t come from any of that,
And you’re wasting your days to sit and chat.
Your heart and mind have to be ready and doing Gods pure will,
Doing what he bids you do so your conscience won’t take a spill.
It says in the word again and again that He comes like a thief in the night,
So let me ask you this Are you ready is your heart right?

Sweet, a page for the arts =P
I am an artist; a musician, mainly in the drumming area; and a writer...

Mainly art though;
examples are in my siggy and on my profile.
I made an example for squeaky, although I'm not at my best in the chibi area:

My skills are quite good when motivated on a project ^w^

Talents......
I really don't think I have any. I used to have precognitive dreams, but that was long before I go tin church.

Now.... the only things I have talent in are cooking and playing with candle flame

God has given me the talent of writing. I can't draw to save my life, unless you gave me about two to three days to get it perfect...

God's Answer
As a placid stream trickles by
I have often wondered why
The winds have never sought to cease
In the growing lake of peace.
As the whispers of the wind
All declare that I have sinned
I beg the patient, thoughtful One
Who sent to me His only Son.
“Oh Lord, I cannot think to bear
The pain and suffering He had to wear
On the dreadful Cross of my sin
He had fought Death to win.
Please, oh God, I cannot express
The sorrow I have for causing this mess.
But just unravel Your truth for me,
That truth shall set me free.”
I hold my breath, my interest sparked,
I squeeze my hands, my feet that larked
O’er the vast and endless seas,
O’er wide lands and o’er leas.
I close my eyes, hoping for His thought,
The thought of truth that I have sought.
My anxiety rises amidst the joy.
That had me worried, Satan’s ploy
Was to trick me into traps
Of endless torture, endless tiring laps
Around the fiery Satan’s gym
With in which no water to swim.
My heart quickened as He readied to speak
This was the moment that I seek.
“Dearest child, oh my child, I wish for you to know
That every night I am ready to forgive you so.
I am happy to hear you come to me,
Open your eye so you may see
That I have a great gift for you
Eternal life is so brand new.
I hope that you know
I love you so!”

Thoughts: Untitled-

What is your purpose? Your counsel? Your vision? Could one be so ignorant? So calm in the midst of war? Your composure tells me you are fine, yet you’re at war with yourself. Anger guided by sorrow, fear, and grief will devour you. Hunger of destruction will indeed destroy. Destroy your beloved. Destroy your life. What do you fear? Do you fear change? Do you fear destruction itself? Life includes death- something not to be feared, but welcomed. War was unnatural, now it is, the creation of the Sin. We live so we can pass the Word of Joy. We live so we can believe, love, and worship God Almighty. Sovereign LORD, Holy One, Jehovah, His name is Many, Truth, Creator, and Many More Than Us. He called upon me to do His Will. He called upon us, mortals, humans, Sinners. Even now, life comes with sorrow, it comes with fear, and it comes with the Curse, Sin. Jehovah sent down His Son to die. Prince of Peace, Jesus, came to die, a Lamb being sacrificed. A creation of men is the sword- a thing of destruction, and a symbol of Death, of Sin. Swords are symbols of our life, being devoured alive by Sin, destruction, fear, grief. With Life comes Death, with Death comes Judgment, and with Judgment comes either Eternal Life or Eternal Death. God’s willing to take those who Truly Believe, still Sinners, but a reborn Person. Born in Christ. I, for one, am a Reborn, a Christian, a real live Jesus-Freak. I live for Jesus, and you can too, just believe… Just believe…

My gift is Poetry!

My Christmas thought

My lights won’t stay on my tree,
But I am as cheery as can be!
I live I love I am me.
I am dressed in red to show great cheer,
Christmas time is oh so near!
But truly I have just one wish,
Before you put your favorite food on your dish.
You give a thought to what this season is all about,
If you do you'll have no doubt.
That our Savior came here to save us all,
And keep us from the deep dark fall.
Born in a manger for all to see,
Then seen again hung on the cross made from a dogwood tree!
This is truly what Christmas is about, for real.
And this is where we should have our zeal!

They Took Christ Out of Christmas

On this very special time of year,
When things should be warm and
to your heart very dear.
They’ve turned it upside down and
inside out,
They forgot what Christmas is all
about.
They think its piling on the gifts,
And cherishing all the Santa myths.
But they have let go of what really
happened this time of year,
The worst of it is they don’t care,
or really want to hear.
They lost the real focus on what was
done,
That God had sent his only son.
So that he could be a part of human
life,
And know all of our pains and strife.
But best of all he gave us the gift of
the heart,
From which no one persons mind
should ever part.
Christ died for us this is real you see,
He died on that cross made from a
Dogwood tree.
So put the Christ back in Christmas
where it should be,
It belongs there because this was all
for you and me.

I'm told I am a good writer. I think that's about as far as my talents go other than being overall creative. I have something on my laptop, but not my main computer. So, I hope to post something soon.
