And that leads me to my second point.Its not really any fun the whole fun i got out of the final fantasy games was customization giving them weapns and armor and materia and such but in this one all you do is give them diffrent costumes to switch to.Gratend it was a good concept but it was one of those hit or miss things and to be honest i believe it missed compleatly

i was astounded at how much the game pushed the playstation's graphics
and it was suprisingly a long game (wow 3 discs)

Yeah, until FF8 and 9 came and outdid FF7.

The story is sloppy, the main character doesn't develop throughout the whole game, many things feel tacked on, and the bad guy is boring and typical.

It just got famous because it was the first 3D Final Fantasy and they published it well on the US.

I dont agree at all.The story was way better than 8 and then when 9 came out the characters we too cartoony but still my list of the new games goes in this order

7,9,10,12,8,10-2

and ******** 11 because that isnt even a final fantasy game

I use to think that FF7 was over rated but after I started playing it and started getting into the rest of the story it's actually really good. Crisis Core really improved the whole FF7 story line. It didn't really make sense the first time but now you can see where it was Zack's and not Cloud's flashbacks.
Although there are some problems to the whole story. Like in Crisis Core 'the flower girl's' name was Arith while in 7 it was Aris.
But I think Crisis Core was just amazing! Genesis, Angeal, Sephiroth, Loveless. And whole new game play.

I didn't like Dirge of Cerberus that much. I don't know what it is but I just didn't care much for it. I liked that it was all about Vincent and you got to learn more about his story.

Crisis Core had a horrible gameplay mechanic though, that roulette thing is s**t.

And you eventually knew that the whole Cloud being all badass is just him being Zack.

Also, her official name is Aerith, Aeris is a mistranslation. Aerith was also used in Kingdom Hearts.
