Dice yelped loudly as he tripepd over some rubble. He managed to roll in such a way that the knives he had in his pockets didn't stab him, but he did scrape his leg and hit his head hard. he threw two more knives that lodged themselves in the nearest two mutants head, knocking them down. he didn't wait to see if they would stand, but instead ran faster and faster, coming up to the mall nearby. he saw a jeep nearby and his eyes widened as he rushed towards it desperatly.

Scyler nodded and turned his head back to the water supply. "There's no problem with having done that. It kept you alive. However, we should probably start heading south. Winter is going to hit these northern states soon and there isn't much shelter... So if you have any bottles or canteens, we should fill them up now before we leave, so we can still have something." He reached into the tattered backpack he had found shortly after the blast and fished out three canteens he had stored in it. He went towards the water supply and started to fill them up one by one.

Dimitris walked back out and heard the jeep's alarm. "Oh great!" The fox ran down the escator and rounded the coner slowly seeing the mutaants close in on the jeep. "Got to get them away before they break it."

Putting on the rings he aimed his hand at the mob and a light illuminated through the rubies. "Hey!" gathering the attention of the mutants they rushed at him and a beam shot through piercing the mob.

He made his way over taking the keys from the body next to the car and unlocked it; something was uneasy in Dimitris and he looked over to the passenger side noticing the uncoordinated fox. "Hmm doesn't look lik he's a mutant are all that injured." Opening the door he picked up his bag and tossed it in the back. Taking one last look at the fox Dimitris sighed and helped him into the back seat. "Stay put."

Closing the doors Dimitris locked the doors closed and walked off. The fox made his way over to a small pharmacy kiosk and turned it over beaming its base out. Reaching in he took 4 first aid kits in his arms, a fire blanket on his tail and a larger medical bag in his mouth.

Cloaking himself again Dimitris made his way back to the jeep and put all the supplies in the trunk. The fox went to his bag and pulled out the night stick and walked over to the closest doors and beamed them; the laser reflected and shot him back in the chest leaving a deep singe. "Gah..." his eyes grew slightly dimmer as he walked forward and bashed the center part between two larger doors apart enough so the jeep could get through.

Turning back the fox made his way to the vehicle until he heard a deep growl from behind him. "That can't be good." dialating his eyes a sphere of light engulefed his surroundings making out everything in a 30' range, specifically he form of a mutated canine that followed his burned flesh scent.

Dimitris leaned out the way of the flying retracting blade as it silenced the threat. Lumbering back to the jeep he climbed into the front seat and started the vehicle up. Keeping the headlights off he pulled out though the broken doors and out into the parking lot.

Using light illuminating from his eyes he saw straight through the darkening sky and rode out through the mall. Stopping at a more remote backstreet he took a breath and looked back and pointed. "Thanks, looks like picking you up was a good move; mind handing me one of those 1st aid kits so I can give myself some salve and bandaging, I managed to stop the lazer before it could irradiate my inside so the burn is the only thing stinging." Pausing breifly he grabbed his chest and cringed.

Dice slowly climbed into the front passenger seat of the jeep, carrying a first aid kit as Dimitris asked. he fumbled the box open and looked at the fox. "Where did it hit you?" he asked quietly. he was obviously nervous but he knew he had to help. "You focus on driving and I will take care of the wound okay? even if it's just a burn, it should be taken care of." he said, still quiet but clearly audible.

Dice pulled down the shirt passed Dimitri's injury and scooped some salve from a container onto his finger, gently placing it on the wound. "this will sting... and My name is Dice by the way." he said, smoothing the cream over the wound. subconsciously his ability kicked in and the burn started healing quickly. by the time the fox boy had stopped there was no trace that there was ever a burn besides the missing fur. "wow this salve works really well." Dice said in astonishment.

Scyler sighed as he watched the Palomino walk, almost run, up the stairs. He turned the spigot on the water faucet off and leaned against a wall as he waited. Something didn't feel wight, though. He could feel something was about to happen. He didn't know what it was, or when it would happen, but he knew it was going to be soon. He quickly shoved his two canteens into his bag and closed it up. He looked up the stairs only to see a shadowy figure. He took in a quick breath and took a quick step back, unable to tell what, or who it was. However, the smell quickly betrayed it to his senses. "Another mutant... This won't end well..." Scyler pulled a lighter from his bag, happy that it still had a little bit of fuel in it. He spun the wheel against the flint, not even letting any fuel get loose, he manipulated the spark to fly up towards the mutant as it slowly made it's way down the stairs. He heard what sounded like a whisper, or even a groan. He twitched his ears as he tried to understand what the mutant was trying to say.

"P... Please.... Kill... Meee....." the mutant said in it's zombie-like state, the harsh fried vocal chords barely making the mutant's speech understandable. "En...d.... My.... Sss.... uffer... ing...."

Scyler winced as he followed through with the mutant's wish. "Forgive me..." He snapped his fingers, causing the spark to billow out into a flame, engulfing the mutant where it stood. He increased the intensity of the flames, causing them to incinerate all remains of the mutant. A heavy stench of decayed flesh being burnt hung in the air, as well as a pile of ash on the staircase. Scyler quickly extinguished the flames, making sure the fire didn't spread to the rest of the building.
