Haha, I think he'd wear a complex nicely...^_~.
I tended to like the anime better just because I felt it made the characters more personable - characters that get downplayed in the anime you get more of in the manga which is nice, but like I said elsewhere in this guild (don't ask me where), if I'd read the manga before watching the anime I have no idea how much I'd like Seto. Especially in the very beginning. The anime humanizes certain characters more, and I like that. However the anime does stretch on a bit at times, so I like how more concise the manga is, and how not everything is overly dramatic and cheesy. So yes I still want to finish it, though I'm sure I'll always prefer the anime, at least in parts.
And yes, I've noticed YB's ego as well. Malik and Seto and even Y. Yuugi are more obvious about their's, but YB has it too - I mean one would have to be egotistical to do half the stuff that he does. However he's charming, whereas those other three are not at all, so you don't necessarily realize it at first.

@Nightfure: Aww, is petting Honda's hair fuzzy? XD Yes, I love him too, and can't wait for his discussion thread. <3
@JK: Yay for subforums! And don't worry about ignoring stickies. XD The only reason I notice when there's updates on them is if it's not my username appearing as the last post. Everyone ignores the stickies; it's just the way guilds are. Mmm, your Yami no Bakura pairings are delicious too. And I know what you mean about the confusion with favorite characters. Jounouchi is always my favorite, but Kaiba, Shizuka, Yuugi, and Honda always rotate around for the top five spots, and then I really like Yami no Malik and Malik and Bakura and Pegasus a lot too...
@Nightfure: Yes, who is this mysterious neutral person? o.o I think TK is more hot than pretty... which is kind of weird, coming from the person who thinks Rishid is pretty. XD Waaah, really? D: Ugh, why do I always have such a hard time remembering the Egypt Arc of the manga? I read that more recently than I watched the anime... *should re-read* Thanks for telling me. XD;; But from what I do remember, the development that TK did get was really more from a far-away perspective, right? Or wasn't there like... two Yami no Bakura in that world? Once possessing TK and one walking around in spirit form? Yeah, I definitely need to reread the manga...
@JK: I've always found Otogi to be the most attractive character in the series, even though I don't care for him too much, and then Malik. XD But Yami no Bakura I would probably put in third or fourth...
@Nightfure: Yes, I've always been amused by how he uses ore sama. XD So arrogant.
@JK: Yeah, I've always preferred the anime as well, though both have their strong points. I love seeing the characters in color, I love their voices and the music, the art tends to be a bit better, I love the filler arcs, way more Puppyshipping hints (*fail*), and extra development on characters that are often tossed aside in the manga, like Shizuka and Mokuba. But definitely love both of them to death! >_< Heehee, I think Malik has some charm to his ego as well, but he just fails at showing it more often. XD

Haha...poor neglected stickies. YGO just has too many likeable characters.
I tend to have a thing for white hair which is probably why Yami no Bakura wins for me. After that I'd say Otogi as well. Then it'd be a competition between Malik and Jou - Jou's clothes are probably what drags him down, haha.
And I didn't mean to imply that Malik lacks charm, he just has no talent for charming others. He's too self-absorbed and angry and bitter. I mean you can be all those things and be charming - but you have to be better at hiding them than he is. As pretty as he is he should not have to use millenium brain wash to amass followers lol .

Jounouchi's clothing actually ups his prettiness for me, but I like baggy clothes. XD He competes with Yami no Bakura for third in my book. Ah, I see. :3 Yes, I agree. And holy s**t, he really is too pretty to need the Rod! XD Never thought of that!

Haha, I don't hate his clothes - in fact if I were dating a guy he had better be dressing more like a Jou than a Malik (at least in public razz ), but they aren't pretty. They don't serve to accentuate his colors. They make him look a bit more awkward - again, what I'd prefer in actuality, but when ranking pretty scale here sometimes these things count against him. Just like half of Malik's expressions is I think what drags him down below Otogi and YB for me. YB can usually pull of maniacal laughter while still looking sexy, whereas Malik looks slightly deranged - even when not taken over by his other half.
It's things like this that work against him. He has an item to help him brainwash people - when really he has all the tools at his disposal to just sway people to him without it. What he needs is an item to help him calm down and rationalize - the millennium therapist if you will. Haha, ok now I'm just babbling here. rofl

My heart is closed up and I feel it crumbling down...
[Voted] I love Yami no Bakura. *o*
[Reason] He's one of the best villains in Yuugiou, in my opinion. He's practically the only villain that didn't become good in the end because he's hard-core evil all the way. Also, he's really mysterious. You hardly learn anything about him through the series so he always keeps you guessing. His methods are really interesting as well. He's one of the few characters that doesn't rely solely on dueling to get what he wants and he does a lot of his work in the shadows which makes it really interesting to watch what he's up to. He's one of the few villains that doesn't have a sad backstory that makes you like him just because you feel sorry for him. Also, as I said before, he's evil all the way so he doesn't have secret fluffy feelings that make you like him. He's just too awesomely evil to not like him. x3 I'll stop here 'cause if I went on, I could write pages about him. >o>
[Favorite pairings] None in particular.
[Rating] Tied with Seto as my #1 favorite Yuugiou character. =3
I can't belive I forgot about the Character Discussion subforum. Sorry! ^o^;;

@JK: Heehee, I guess the awkwardness is attractive to me, though I do agree that his clothes don't accentuate him well. But then again, because of the way Jounouchi dresses, it just makes it all the more exciting when you get little glimpses of him in sexy clothes, like in fanart or in the Afureru Yuujou ga Tomaranai ending theme. (I mean, he's only wearing a tank top there, but God is it a hot tank top on him!) And yes, Malik does often looked more deranged than pretty. XD Probably why Otogi is #1 for me. <3 OMG the Millennium Therapist! XD Sign me up! ...I've come to realize that I always call them the Sennen Items instead of Millennium, because I can't spell Millennium without spell check. XD;;
@Kitsune Warrior: Yay, looks like we're all in agreement so far on what makes Yami no Bakura such an interesting villain! He'd be a good rogue... oh! Just got a new idea for a thread. If the YUU*GI*OU characters were roleplaying classes, what would they be? :3 (almost typed "what would they bed?" there) I think I'll make that thread in a little bit. X3 And don't worry about forgetting the discussions. XD Most people did, because Ketz was an idiot for moving them to their own subforum, but is too obsessive-compulsive to change it back.

@Kits - I totally agree with that. I just try to be impartial and generic in terms of my attractiveness ratings. I mean if that's all I cared about could I possibly love Seto so? Hahaha!
Haha, I try to spell millennium with only one N...once I realized that's the mistake I'm making I just count my Ns when I'm done...^_~
And yea, one Millennium Therapist coming right up! razz
@Chibi K - ahh yes, you used the word fluffy in your description. True it was in terms of feelings but still, it made me remember that YB has such a fluffy quality about him. I luff that... 4laugh
@Kits - I like them as their own forum, I think it's neat. I think as people start to remember/realize they are here, (with helpful hints from time to time) and start chatting in these threads, they'll achieve an active status that will make the separation feel right. Characterization is such an important attribute it definitely deserves it's own unique forum.

Yes, after all, attractiveness in general is just a generic thing, that has no depth to it, so why give depth to our analysis on who's the most attractive? XD Heehee, I think Kaiba's pretty hot though, even with the bowl cut/mullet hair style. <3 That's how I was spelling Millennium, then my spell check yelled at me! XD I think Yami no Bakura is fluffy because he has bunny ears made of hair... Honestly, I only moved character discussions to a separate forum because we had an extra subforum, and they were cluttering up the main forum. It would be like, "Character Discussions: Yuugi," normal thread, "Character Discussions: Kaiba," normal thread, "Character Discussions: Jounouchi..." and it was just bothering me, like all these threads in the same category were mixing in with the normal forum threads, so I moved them. XD

Haha, well I of course agree, but I don't ever try to argue Seto as the prettiest character, even with diehard Seto fans - granted I try to avoid discussions with diehard fans because they take some of that "die" literally and are a wee bit scary... razz
And what a fail spell checker!
And I agree, he TOTALLY makes me think cuddly bunny rabbit - but then he has psychotic killer mode like the rabbits in Monty Python, haha.
I think that was a good move, whatever the inspiration.

Might as well keep these [character discusions] all in a section... the long names were distracting XD
Anyways, we all get to agree again! Huzzah 3nodding
I always spell Millennium like Milennium or Millenium razz I can never spell it right unless I concentrate really hard...
No matter how psychotic YB is, he'll always be fluffy razz I'm not sure why, maybe it's the bunny ears, but, as JK and Chibi Kitsune said, he has a fluffy quality about him 3nodding Even when he killed Pegasus XD
... Were you guys just talking which Yuugiou character was prettier...? XD

Nightfure ... Were you guys just talking which Yuugiou character was prettier...? XD maaaaaaaaaybe... razz Haha, and hey, I'm an English major (and plan to make my living in this field) and spelling STILL trips me up. English is just a completely wacky language. Hoorays for agreement!

@JK: Haha, any die hard fan like that is preferable to avoid. ^^;; I tried watching Monty Python like... on three separate occasions, and fell asleep every time. XP Just couldn't get into it. The English language sucks.

Haha, yea *looks around* - don't tell English majors or anything, but I rather dislike Monty Python. I think it's boring as heck! But like Charlie the Unicorn, The Holy Grail is at least actually pretty awesome to quote, in spite of not being very interesting to watch (not all of it of course - because most of it, like most MP things, is like I said really boring) *more suspicious darting of the eyes*. I can't really have this opinion in public though. As an English major we are suppose to bow down to it's greatness or something? Yea it's just not fair.
Although I do like the Lumberjack song - but that might be because of alternate memories I associate with it.

@JK: What do you mean Maaaaaaaaaybe ninja Ma'am, I'm going to have to arrest you for suspicious activity >:3
My mom's an English major and teaches Language Arts in High School, but I can never spell things correctly, or get which part of a sentence is which part of speech XD She gives me this look everytime it comes up, too :3
