@K-chan - We're bound for Yaoicon at the end of the month! biggrin ! -dies- This will be, uh, interesting in ways. I have sooo many costumes to finish. XD
Ou--uh, universal warning for RP buddies: Mondays from ~12:00pm-10:30pm, PST, I've got school and an Interwebs deficiency. Other days, for the most part, I'll be around. :3 Saturdays and Sundays I have work, but I get on during the morning and night for when other people are on. <3))

So, by technicality, I could play Ryou and Bakura? By technicality? If the technicality is found lacking, I think I could stomach just Bakura~ o-o He is an amazing amount of fun to role play on the interweb'z. (Potential lacking in the technicality is; if we have double characters happening due to people sharing the same body, and they thusly need to have the same sn to avoid actual double character'ing, that takes out the possibility of, say, them talking to themselves. Yuugi would have to double post in order to say something to his Other, and he'd look even crazier than he does doing so irl, because the logout button isn't that far away~)
Also, and excuse me for showing up out of nowhere and immediately starting to throw ideas in everyone's faces like a merciless frisbee!master, but I was thinking~ Kaiba and Ryou are theoretically our most internet-inclined characters, right? But Kaiba is antisocial, so.
What is the origin of our chatroom? It could even be that, say, Ryou, threw together a little javascript because post-series, y'know, everyone tends to spread out a little, and it was a way to keep in touch without anyone having to invest a lot of effort into doing so. That way, people whose lives have become very busy can still partake in not losing touch. Then for some of the characters who would be less inclined to / not be "invited", it's possible they pulled it up in a web search or something?

((@JK&Yuu: Aww, luckies! I had so much fun at Yaoi Jam, but it only came to Arizona one year, and I haven't heard of it since. D: But I am going to a small convention in AZ called Saboten this Halloween weekend. Hope you guys have fun at your con, with little drama!
As for times when you're busy, I wouldn't worry too much about that. I don't think many of us area able to be at the computer 24/7, but the beauty of forum roleplays is that you can update whenever. I honestly don't expect there to be many times where we're on for hours at a time, posting back and forth. If that does happen occasionally, great, but if not, it's not the end of the world.
@Nightfure: Yes, you can be Pegasus. ^^
@Twelve: Yes, by technicality, you can play both Bakuras. This would also mean, as you said, that they actually wouldn't be able to talk to each other through the roleplay, unless one posted, then they switched who had control of the body, and that new controller posted a response. To all of those who are playing a two-minded character, you might want to have something different in your font or something to represent who you are currently playing, like the dark half in italics, and the surface half not.
As for the origin of the chatroom, there is none. This is a silly, fun concept that doesn't really need plot to go on. All the roleplay is is a chatroom that the YUU*GI*OU characters happen to log into and talk to each other in. If we were to start thinking of logical reasons why this room started (and why the hell Kaiba deems the others worthy to talk to him online), then we would also need to start considering such intricacies as: Why are the dark half characters still there? Why are villains talking casually with protagonists? What time in the series does this even take place? Really, this is just a ridiculous roleplay that would only be pulled thin if we tried to give it more meat than it needs. Everyone is free to come up with reasons their own characters are visiting the chatroom if they so desire (like Mokuba pretending to be Kaiba), but even that's not a necessity. Also, the idea of random idiots stumbling in might be interesting. If anyone ever wants to just post as a random n00b occasionally, I have no problem with that.))

Saturday is my plan. It won't be Friday because I have to work, I'm debating going both Saturday and Sunday though I'd probably be on my own Sunday if I do that, but we'll see closer to, right now I'm in grad app mode (oh yea and my job is mind numbing right now) so can't brain.

@everyone inspired by Kits - yea lack of plot would also make it easier for people to step out, because I see several people apologizing for days in which they'll be inactive already, haha.

((@Apo: Ooh, I like that idea, a password chatroom with the occasional hacker n00b. XD Maybe the hacker could even be a specific YUU*GI*OU character, like Rebecca or someone, who just occasionally pops in, and can be played by anyone just if they feel like it at the time.
@JK: Yeah, I mean, I already disappeared this weekend from sudden busyness, and it might be like that for me for a few more weekends, as I only recently found out I'm going to a convention in a couple weeks, so need to use those weekends to work on my cosplay, help other friends with their cosplays, and plan a murder mystery event for the nights between the convention days. So yes, random plot of people popping in and out should work best.
@Everyone: Okay, that all works. :3 And that is a cute avi Atemu; good for the season.
I think we've got about everyone who's going to participate now, so unless there's anymore questions/suggestions, I think we're ready to start?))
