The statistic is made up, but I was told spiders really do crawl into your mouth to drink your saliva.

Edit: But after poking around, it looks like that's false, too, or at least a myth.

I mean, it hasn't been dis-proven by any means, but it certainly hasn't been proven either, which is kind of proof in itself that it started as a myth.

Don't go bashing all religions because some of them are stupid. I know a lot of people who would be a lot worse off without some kind of religion.

I know most Culties are going to disagree, pointing out the numerous idiots who make up most of the Christian population. That's fine. I just wanted to point out that not all of us are crazy bible-pushing republicans.

I said religion, not Christianity.
And I didn't say 'join or you'll burn in hell'
I said 'opiate'

Basically, religions say 'Hey, life may suck now, but if you're a good enough person, you'll get to go to a better place after you die!'
a.k.a. bullshit that keeps people hopeful so they'll do what they're told no matter how much it sucks because they believe through their religion that it's somehow going to pay off in the end.

I didn't mention hell, nor Christianity.
