I was raised in a family that didn't celebrate Xmas, but was Xtian. I was raised not to wish anyone a merry anything, but I now say "Happy Holidays" because I celebrate a combined Winter Solstice and HumanLight. It just seems the most respectful option because it covers all parties. Xtians have been coddled for far too long in the U.S. just because they're the majority. I can't imagine anyone in my area thinking it's too "PC" as I live in a university town, but if they do it's their problem. PCness is not my aim, ethical and fair treatment of all is.
