Heh, I noticed that one when I was a kid and used to watch Sailor Moon after school. I've also noticed miss colorings in tons of cartoons. I was once watching the Muppet Babies when for just a split second Fozzy Bear was purple, like the underpaid cell painter was tired that day and didn't feel like switching colors or something. I think avoiding mistakes like this is one of the reason cartoons are no longer hand drawn or colored. If they can just move things around digitally they are less likely to mess up.
