Leto's Fight With the Water Spirit
Leto blanked out, it felt as if she had hit the ground going 100 miles per hour. When she woke up, she could hear a low growl through the mist of an unknown ground. In surprise, she got up and looked around. The whole place was shrouded with a thick miasma that weighed heavily down on the lungs. "Where.. am I?" Searching through the thick cloud, she decided that it would be better to fight this unknown animal/creature than to look around. A roar emerged from the fog, amidst all the peace before. A humanoid creature emerged, seemingly in the shape of a woman with what looked to be tail fins on her head.
Leto rubbed her eyes in disbelief. The creature she would be fighting was a woman? Her theory was quickly disproven, as the creature shot towards her at nearly lightning speed. No, it wasn't a woman. It had a mouth with teeth lined up like a shark, and areas of it's flesh was protected with a scaly armor. Leto braced her self as the monster flew past her. She tumbled backward as she felt a force hit her square in the stomach. When she reached down, she felt blood on her hands. "Dammit!" Had she lost already? No, she couldn't lose. Leto stumbled back to her feet, almost falling over, and grabbed her sword from her back. The V-summon sword was outstretched in front of her, seemingly floating. Taking a hold of it, she started to focus her wind magic into the sword, while the creature started to move behind her, preparing for another attack.
Before Leto could finish pouring magic into her sword for her Split attack, the creature turned into a black snake, almost 15 feet long and 2 feet wide, and wrapped around her from behind. It started to hiss as it was squeezing the air out of her, and she almost lost all of her attack. Inside, Leto was angry. So angry, her blood was boiling and her knuckles turned white. Just as Leto lost all oxygen in her lungs, she screamed "SPLIT!" and with the power of wind and fire, it tore through the creature's soul. The wind spurred the fire, creating the sensation of an inferno inside the snake. It dropped to the ground, as it released her. Coughing, she moved away from the snake, and dragged the sword with her. While Leto was in a horrible condition from her wound, the snake seemed to be fighting the pain, up for another round. Groaning, she steadied herself, trying to hold her sword up again for another round. Out of energy, when the snake finally attacked a third and final time, Leto blocked it using her sword, and using all of the muscle strength she had, thrusted the V-summon sword into the snake as far as she could.
Panting, she felt herself fall again. She felt as if she had hit the ground again. Waking up, Leto found that her sword was right where it was since she had started, her face wet with water. Wiping the water off, she looked around for her sensei, until she found a note. "Meet me at Ethral" Leto found the other man, but left him to fight his own battles, as she walked out of the cavern, and toward Ethral City.
