Duriono's complete bio: Duriono is sitting at a huge gate in the middle of a dark forest at age 13 when a huge monster comes along through the gate opening its huge doors, Duriono just flips his hat and the creature walks back and closes the door behind it. Within minutes a human child with blond hair ( you make up the actual clothes ) with a puzzled look on his face he walks to Duriono who is stareing up at the sky and confronts him "What is this place?" the child asks him "none of your buisness" Duriono replys displaying his fangs "and you shouldn't be here" the boy flinched and almost ran but he was curious and wanted to know "I'll leave if you talk with me" and Duriono sat upright "Fine, this the main gate to the demonic realm: a world between worlds and my job is to" Duri slumped over "stand here everyday and night and keep the big demons in which are called fiends in your language in"
"Every day? Doesn't it get boring?"
"Hell yeah, I don't see why they don't just get someone else" Duri stared into the sky again "so, I'm Duriono but you can call me Duri who are you?" Duriono flashed a big grin "well thats a big attitude change, but my name's York"
"York? thats a dumb name"
"Well so is Duriono." and the two began laughing. "ok so I'l leave now. see ya!" York left just as he came. two weeks went by and Duri kept thinking about everything thats out there; imagining strange machnes that his father had told him about: Duri's Dad looked a lot like him except he had blood red eye's and scars all over his body he was always teaching him until he died when a demon slayer found the gate and they killed eachother.
"Dammit I wanna know.." Duri stared into the distance of the forest "thats it I'm going. I wanna see exactly what my Dad's seen!" And he ran off.
The next morning the gate cracked and all the fiends were let loose numbering 20 in total.
that same day Duriono was buried in the sand in the middle of a desert: he had taken his father's weapons which were two scythe's and dual blades on his way out of the forest which led into a desert. A group of four dark elves came along and started picking up his weapons wondering where they came from. "Hey Cage! Look at these!" a rather lankey one shouted "What Suzak?" a muscular Elf ran over and called out and the group of 4 started talking amoung them selves "Drop Em!" a muffled sound came from almost nowhere and a hand reached out of the sand and grabbed the leg of the tall one dragging him down the one of the others was scared and started to run but Duriono popped up and punched him in the face knocking him out cold.

"Why the hell'd you do that!" a human girl shouted Duri turned around and was greeted with a slap to the face "they were supposed to be some great mercenaries but you knocked em out cold!"
"Uhh I'll help you" Duriono replied even though he hadn't seen them himself his Dad tought him about the world before he died "you will!" a little dark elf boy jumped on Duri laughing with joy "Hi, my name's Brefand and this is Mary!"
"I'm Duriono but you can call me Duri"
( I'll come back with the end of year one and part of 2 i gotta go.) Duri walked late into the night with Brefand, Mary, and the two Mercs when Duriono yawned and sat down "That's enough for one day" Duri sprawled out on the ground stareing at the fire "hey mister are you a vampire?" Brefand walked over "No, Im not."
"But you have fangs" He stepped closer but Mary interrupted
"Please don't bug him" and Brefand went to sleep in a matter of seconds "Sorry about him" Mary was sitting opposite of Duri "oh, thats ok" Duriono sat up "So why are you two out here?" He was curious "Oh, my home town was recently ravaged by a demon in fact it was early this morning" Duriono flinched "Oh, I'm sorry for asking" and then turned to Suzak and cage "They came along rather quickly so they took us with them" Mary continued "So why were you buried in the sand?" just before Duriono could answer an tremor shook the ground Duriono looked around and saw a figure in the distance and it began running at him "go! run away!" Duriono's shouts woke up everyone and they dashed to a distance "What about you?" Mary called to him but before he could answer the figure punched Duri in his torso than kicked him away. Duri got back up mumbling "fiend" and took out his dual blades and dashed at it. They were trading blows but it was clear Duriono was losing "Just run!" Mary screamed and attracted Duri's attention giving the creature the chance it needed: It disarmes Duriono and made an X' shaped mark in his forehead Duriono caught a glimse of the demon it had purple skin and its fingers were jagged as knives it was wearing a gun holster with two revolvers in them. Duri fell to the ground presumed dead The creature smiled turning its attention to the travelers and aimed it's black revolver at Brefand and the silver one at Mary it pulled on the triggers and the two braced themselves but no pain came to them. A red eyed Duriono stood before them and dropped the bullets on the floor. Duri stood there motionless and in a puff of smoke dashed at the fiend gaining ground throughout the fight until Duriono drew his dual blades once more and finished him off. Duriono smiled at the group then fell over clutching the fiends guns in one hand and the blades in another.
"Rise and shine Duriono we're here" Duriono was slinged over Cage's back and he leaped off him stretching "So, where's here?"
"Barton town!" Mary and Brefand shouted "The town of many stories come on!" After paying Cage and Suzuk The trio toured the town they sat down by the fountain and Brefand kicked a ball around "Thanks for helping us Duri" Mary scratched her neck "It was nothing!"
"But you got hurt! I mean you have that scar now" Duri grinned "The cuts and bruises healed and your all safe thats all that matters" Duri and Mary stared at the fountain for a moment then Mary clutched on to Duri "I hate it when people hurt themselves for others it only adds guilt"
Days turned into months and Duriono became a mercinary to help people and to track down fiends three years went by and Duriono gained titles from all different towns some good some bad and he stayed friends with Brefand now 13 and Mary 15 (There is nothing going on between them by the way)
As the years went by Their attitudes changed as well Duriono stopped being so spacy and clueless and became less serious and now became a little less cautious he also dressed differently Mary became more of impatient a fighter and competetive she now accompanies Duriono on some jobs.
Duriono and Mary were walking on a route to a distant town Duri's eye's were locked on the road while Mary was listening to some music "are we there yet?" Mary asked pausing the song "Not even close" Duri replied giving out a sigh "But we've been walking for a week!" Mary complained and Duriono started complaining as well "We haven't gotten a bite to eat sence when we left" Both of their stomachs growled and simotaniously said "I'm starving" and started ranting about things they wish they had done.
A few hours of ranting later they come across an uncharted town "Is-is that a town!" Both half expected it to be a mirage but even so they ran at it surprisingly it wasn't fake and they celebrated by hugging the ground "Oh my god! its a real town with shops, resturants and everything!" Mary jumped "I'm going to the hotel to rent a room then I'll meet up with you" Duriono ran off and Mary ran to the music store" Duriono dashed into the hotel and flashed a bundle of money, he had alot of cash due to his job but spent it poorly and quickly unloaded his stuff in the room. And Mary couldn't find anything so he went back, ambushed Duri and dragged him into the clothes store "Hey Mary, what are we doing here?" Duri asked picking himself up "Well Duri I wanna see what they have and you only have one set of clothes" Mary replied handing Duri some clothes and shoving him into the dressing room for the usual montage. a half hour later They came out of the store after Mary beat up a clerk with a 2X4 piece of wood and they went to the hotel for the night
That night the two got kicked out of their for noise complaints. "Well its time to hit the road!" Duri Walked off with Mary in tow. Even later that night they had finally made it to the town "Huh, Zephyr thats a weird name for a town..." Duriono took his first step into the town and collasped "Hey! Duri you okay?" Mary ran over and collasped as well.
"That's another one down"
The next morning Duriono woke up tied to a stake with strange tags on it "What the hell?" Duri tried cutting the rope but was burnt "Ugh!" Duriono winced and was greeted by a tall figure
"Who the hell are you?" Duriono asked but the figure did not reply and stepped forward. His face was hidden by a mask and he seemed to be stronger than any demon Duriono had fought before "Okay so what the hell are you doing?"
"Know your place demon!" The figure stabbed Duriono in his chest and tore it out. Duriono refused to flinch but he let out a quiet yelp like a small puppy that had been stepped on"Where's Mary?!"
"You don't shut up do you?" and the man struck him again. This contiuned for several hours until the man grew bored and left leaving Duriono a bloody wreck. Duriono began cusreing between breaths and started to let his mind decipher what the man was "Clearly a human demon hunter by the weapons and tatoo on his blade. But where am I?"
Outside the building where several outposts each with a large defensive line of gunmen armed to the teeth but even so Mary had snuck by them using a Glider she had gotten from the town -Yes she attacked another store clerk for it- and snuck in through the airvents "This is so not the usual role of a woman" Mary mumbled sarcasticly She roamed the airvents and came across a room with several masked men and a door that stood in the center of the room "wonder who these guys are?" She thought to herself observing the conversation below the tall figure from before entered the room and all the others saluted "We have the gate keeper" The man said "So I heard that you had your little fun time with that sword of yours" a womanly voice pointed out "Okay but what are their names?" Mary mumbled "Augh thats it I gotta find Duri" and she contiuned crawling until she smelt blood and followed it from there. "Duriono is that you?" Mary called out from over the room "Yeah its me but how did you find me?" Duriono asked as Mary broke through the vent "well there was this......" Mary filled Duriono in and they broke out the door of the room.
The air was filled with suspense as the two hacked there way out of the building with Duriono holding his broadsword and Mary using one of his scythes they were almost home free until they had forgotten about the army of soldiers armed to the teeth just outside... "holy crap" Duri stepped back bracing himself and thinking of several scenario's of which they could escape. But their thoughts were cut short by two voices "Well what do we have here? A demon and some girl trying to break him out?" One voice that was light and sounded like someone around their ages. "Why would you befriend this demon? a darker coarse voice came out "He'll only end up killing you Just abandon him" and the two showed themselves. one was a man that looked 30 years of age with dirty blonde hair that extended to his shoulders weilding two silver revolvers and the other was a teenage boy with black hair held a whip with him. "You don't know anything about Duri!" Mary shouted and the teenager responded "Shut your trap! All demons only want one thing to kill and destroy our lives!"
"Gouma calm down" The older one silcenced Gouma "You shut up Hyough, you know what your thinking!
"well there's two of them.. I'll handle the demon and you kill the girl" Hyough smiled a dark sly grin and aimed at Duri "Hey! leave her out of this I'm the demon!" Duri proclaimed "Well she befriended a demon, and now she has to die!" Gouma dashed at Mary and Duri tossed her his Dual blades so she easily countered knocking the whip to the ground "You should be watching your own hide demon!" Hyough shot at Duri and nailed him in the arm while he wasn't looking "Fine then, Mary becareful!" and Duri and Hyough were in a gun fight. Hyough could take a hit and he didn't show any signs of fainting and dodged the majority of Duri's attacks. Mary was also on the defensive trying to get to Gouma so she could attack. This fight continued like for several hours neither side showing signs of losing and one false move could end either side's life. "Duri how ya doin?" Mary called
"Just fine!" then an Idea came to Duri "Hey Mary Get close to me!" and Mary dashed to Duri's side "follow my lead" and the two focused on Gouma who struggled to deflect Duri's bullets and when he switched to the offensive Mary took out Duri's broadsword and cut his weapon down to size leaving him open For Duri to shoot one last shot into his skull. "Dammit!" And Gouma fell
"I knew you couldn't handle yourself" and Hyough shot Mary in her leg, disableing her "Mary!" Duri screamed and restrained from going into a demonic rage to prove their point. "Damn you!" and Duriono dodged a barrage of bullets gaining ground to Hyough but one flew and disarmed Duri of one of his guns landing far away from him "I've got you!" and Hyough shot him in his chest causing Duri to bend over revealing Mary holding the gun "I won't let you hurt Duri" was the last thing Hyough heard before he fell and died.
Two months later Barton is having a farewell party for all those who are fighting in the war. Everybody had their speach and told their story Duri's constisted of few words "Gate, Demon hunters, fiends, and friends" The party had many bands and the one that stuck to Duri was 'show me how to live by Audio slave' (look it up on youtube) and thats exactly the song that was playing as he told his story.
A few hours later the party Died down and Duriono and Mary were sitting on the bench in front of the fountain plaza like three years ago. "So, we've had our fair share of adventures" Mary was leaning forward looking upset "Yeah, so why are you so sad?" Duri leaned up to talk to her. "Well its just that..." The two found themselves leaning closer until..... Brefand pops up laughing "Whats so funny!?" the two shouted embarrassed "It was just so funny! Darek dived into the fountain wearing a cheerleader costume!" The two only narrowed their eyes. "Yeah way to kill the mood" and the trip began laughing -will edit to shorten this as much as possible-
