Eclipse Ruins

Tatsuya finally arrived at the ruins, partly out of breath as he had ran here for the most part. Once he arrived, he noticed a few people he knew; namely Alex and Ty. He walked up to the group rather quietly, except for the clacking of his weapons on his back. "Hey Alex, Ty, got room for one more?" His near monotonous voice pierced the air with a rich smooth quality that's not heard much anymore.

Itazuki felt a warm sensation grasping then holding tight his hand. He looked back and saw a small figure. Already he knew who it was. He sighed softly then continued to go down the stairs. He heard in the distance the voice of another. He turned back and said. "Hey Sully, its ok if your scared...I am too." He was lying of course.

"I still got time to have some fun."

These were the words of the platinum haired warrior as he walked into the entrance of the ruined castle. The man did not know that people were already inside, so he was lagging behind. The warrior already had plans but the terms were not yet fulfilled. As a result, the platinum haired warrior was able to do almost anything he wanted until the time came when he had to focus on his main mission.

The castle had nothing to show that it was a palace in it's prime. Now all that stood here was rubble. However just because there was nothing on the surface of the castle did not mean there was nothing underneath it. The man did not know that underneath the rubble was something amazing down in the catacombs, including treasure. Perhaps another weapon for Calypso or better armor; there were so many possibilities. The man thought that since it was an entrance below, it had monsters, traps and excitement.(1)

Then some thing was brought to Itazuki, he ran past every one and left the ruins.

Alex just glanced at Itazuki as he left the ruins with haste. Alex was sure that he would come back eventually. "Hey you guys, coming?" Alex shouted back to the others as he stepped into the ruins. As he stepped down, there was a sharp grinding noise and several large spikes shot form the walls. Spinning like a ballerina, he released a column of wind to brush them aside. Slowing down, he looked down at the spikes and breathed a sigh of relief.

Orochi began walking towards this place called Eclipse ruins, he got the information from a reliable source. He saw many people around the entrance of this place. He shuttered a bit and drove his hands in his pocketsm he began walking towards the new faces, already scared and already to attack if necessary.

The wind from the trees beconed him. It was time to find Itazuki. Something told him that now was not the time to explore these ruins. Barely glancing at the newcomer, he planted the haead of Kozuchi Ozuchi into the ground and rode the shaft toward the swaying woods.

[Hoarfrost Dirge]

As Ty wandered down the paths in the catacombs he made one too many wrong turns and got separated from the rest of the group he was with. "Great... Now I either have to go find them, or see if they can get out alive." He said to himself as a large spider suddenly landed on his back. The poor eight legged venom monster did not even have the chance to bite its target before it was cut into bits by three thin blades of air. "Filthy arthropod..." He uttered as he wandered aimlessly now, not even worried about the people he came down here with. "I could always make this a test for the Rebele, whoever can survive for so long down here gets to stay a member." He thought as he turned a corner and noticed something shimmering in a puddle along his path. Walking up to the shiny object he bent over to examine and pull out the object. What he revealed was a strange coin. On once face of the coin there were three fish in a circle. The other face held a skeletal hand. Pocketing the treasure Ty now wandered around either looking for more coins or getting out of here to sell his treasure.

Orochi got closer and closer to the entrance. The people began to enter the ruins with curiosity, Orochi rushed over and hopped inside the cavern like ruins. It was dark and visibility was zero. He stuck his hand out and snapped his fingers; instantly fire was ablaze and he could see six feet in front of He skipped along the tunnel, made a left and went down a flight of stairs running. Orochi huffed a bit of warm air as he saw an engraving on a stone slab, with his years of schooling and learning about the land he could slightly read and decipher the language. It told him to turn the handle, he looked around for a bit and saw one, he turned it and then the ground below him went away and he fell. As he was falling he remembered what it really said. “Don’t turn the handle.” Sliding against the small cracks he landed and hard on the ground and rolled some distance, in the distance he saw someone cut a spider with no weapons; it was like the spider tore itself apart willingly.  

[Hoarfrost Dirge]

Tysulir wandered down a pathway and found a rusted gate with a staircase behind it. Raising his one leg he swiftly kicked open the ancient door. It groaned then snapped off the hinges as Ty's boot made contact. Walking over the fallen gate, the bandit took the stairs to a trap door that lead him to the far side of the ruins. Remembering this exit for later, Tysulir walked slowly back to Ethral to see how much this coin was worth. "Poor suckers. I hope the monsters that lay resting deeper in the ruins don't get a stomach ache." He said as he stared at his new coin.

Orochi stood up and saw the man with great skills run away. He followed closely by but then he fell in another hole; he went down it, did spins in the air and went down a tube and round up outside and crawled out of a rock. “Weird.” He said, he ran through the desert to Ethral.

The platinum haired warrior noticed that a few people were leaving the depths below already. One of the people that left seemed like he was in a hurry while another one looked like he was following the previous one. The platinum haired man stopped walking and looked behind him, seeing the last image of the two before shruged his shoulders.

"More excitement for me."

The platinum haired man had no problem with everyone else that came in before him leaving as well. The more people that were leaving, the more exciting it would be for the platinum haired warrior. He then imagined himself in the deepest portions of the caverns with three creatures of a high rank looking like they have not eaten in days; the platinum haired warrior motioning the three to come and get it and from there it would be excitement and training. Of course, gold and weapons would be better too in exchange for actual beasts of the platinum haired man's level.

At this point, the platinum haired man seemed to be alone in the cavern. Most of the people that were in a group before the platinum haired man's entrance may have gone further or stayed put. Either way, the platinum haired man was determined to find out what was down here. The platinum haired warrior's imagination was the torch in these catacombs. Whatever growls, snarls or anytime of noise that did not seem normal was the way the platinum haired warrior was going to head. Usually if there are a couple of craetures in one direction, something important must be down that road.(2)

Soulless was a little distressed about the leaving of his friends... but he was sure he would find them later. In his mind they had already faded from memory. It was like his friends had never existed. Carefully he walked up beside the other one remaining, a smile on his features. Was he frightened? No, not at all. Fear was not something that was possible to him. Perhaps another day, in another time, he had the ability to be afraid. Staring up at the man he took his large hand in his smaller one as a sign of trust.

"Are you just as excited as I am?" He whispered happily, before smiling and letting go of his hand and following the man towards the growls. Yes, this would be very fun. Perhaps they would find some sort of beautiful, unbelievable treasure that they could shove in the faces of those that left.

So far, there had not been any monsters waiting to rip of the platinum haired warrior's head off. Either the monsters were not hungry and were waiting for their food to digest or the warrior was not deep enough. The thought of getting lost in the cave occured in the back of the platinum warrior's mind. After all the caverns was not exactly a place for average warriors to meditate in. However the platinum warrior was confident in his abilities to where he would be able to exit the cavern without any wrong turns.

"Are you just as excited as I am?"

The platinum haired warrior heard this after he felt a hand grip one of his own. For less than a second the platinum haired warrior thought that it was a female; they never could resist the temptation. Unfortunately it was not one of the platinum haired warrior's ladies to be. In fact, the person looked like a young boy. The platinum haired warrior was about to lightly jerk his hand away but was saved the trouble when the boy released his grip and gave him a smile.

"...You could say that. I just hope there's something worth my time down here." replied the platinum haired warrior.

While the platinum haired warrior was not the best in first impressions, the other person seemed to have an interesting first impression. The platinum haired warrior took a quick look at him before focusing on the task at hand.

If it were up to looks alone that determines whether one is suitable to travel deep in to a cavern filled with traps and mazes, the platinum haired warrior's companion would not make the cut. There was no armor of any type present on the man, weapons(good ones) were absent and if things were not bad enough, he had an eye patch. The platinum haired warrior hoped that he used it to trick people because if the man did need it, things might get complicated with the two.

Still the platinum haired warrior was glad that he had another person by his side that was just as happy as he was when it came to this adventure. Plus the platinum haired warrior assumed that he had to carry an element and was skilled with it. The man had the look anyway of one who did not care about their apperance or had one that was seen as weak to other warriors. When it came to magic however, it was the complete opposite. The platinum haired warrior hoped to see what the man posessed if they were to encounter anyone or anything that did not like them very much.(3)

Soulless followed this stranger. That was, until they heard a roar in the deep blackness. His blind silver eye did not detect movement, but he saw an eerie glow. What he did not know that the eerie glow was the toxic chemicals in the venom on the beast that lay before them, its jar gaping wide and filled with many teeth. Immediately at the sight the young assassin seemed to smile, pleased. He tugged the man's hand and pointed at the monster. "See, look its smiling at-"

ROOAAAAR!

The creature let out a furious cry of indignation at the fact that these two human creatures invaded its territory. It's massive hooves pounded the floor as its great and furry head let out a howl of its anger and its rage. Halway through its wolf-like body the fur stopped and instead the slimy skin, arching off to an equally slimy tail with green venom dripping off the revealed stinger. The creature snarled, its red eyes glinting in the dum light of its glowing green mouth.

The boy seemed to take the roar in stride. "Oh, look, it wants to play." His voice suddenly took on a darker edge than it normally was. He looked up at his friend, his eyes narrowing slightly as an emotion known as insanity spread onto his face in a very large and somewhat disturbing grin. "Shall we play with it?"
