Today. Sucked. So. Hard.
I got scammed on the interwebz (Nowai, rly?!)
Some woman contacted me, and wanted me to sell her my camera from craigslist. We had it all worked out, and she sent the money to paypal. Paypal emailed me and basically said that they had my money, and once I send paypal the tracking number, my account would be credited.
I sent the package, and sent the tracking number to paypal, and got the return email that I will be credited in 12 hours.
24 hours passsed, and I called paypal, and they basically said: There was never any transaction. I'm ******** MIGHT be able to stop the package from getting to Nigeria, if I go to the post office, and stop it first thing tomorrow morning. It's in Miami right now, and will ship out tomorrow morning. If I don't catch it, it is VERY not likely that I will never get it back.
Turns out, the email was a phish email and they were trying to get my info or something. idk. I reported it and paypal told me I should be proud, and played a big role in stopping this fraud-er.
