Hawk raised her brows and slipped her wrist bonds, dropping to the floor. With her ankles already untied, it was a cinch to get out once she worked her wrists loose. She ducked Sicknote and raced into the next room, forming the rope that had held her into a lasso. She stuck her head back out cautiously to see if Sicknote had pursued her.

Hawk's next toss of the lasso flew straight and true, but instead of dropping around Sicknote it settled over American_pop's head. Hawk tugged it tight, but not too tight, and pulled her victim into the back room. A moment later she sauntered out, whistling, leaving American_pop with his wrists and ankles tied to the legs of a chair and gagged with a (clean)sock.
