I don't really miss the slide though. It wasn't really useful except in places where you obviously HAD to use it.

The first thing I noticed when I played the demo for 9 was that I couldn't slide when I was fighting those elephants. So there.. I missed it like... right away. I grew up liking Mega Man III. I couldn't do s**t in any of the games back then, but I grew up atleast being able to slide.
