I have some of the biggest self-esteem issues. I have always hated myself for how I look. My friends tell me I am not ugly but who can believe others these days? I find it hard to believe.

Being beautiful is not about appearance at all. It's about personality, being the person you are. But to be beautiful you need to feel beautiful heart Its always in the inside that counts
Dont find it hard to believe wink Because your friends are right, your not ugly. If you were, you wouldn't have them as friends now, would you?

i think tht this is a great idea some girls at my school are so hung up with being "hot" or "pretty" tht they can't understand tht their fine the way they are. Some people hav such low self asteme tht they need to see something like this were ever they go.

I go to an all girls school and we had a "full of ourselves" lesson last year. And the lady showed us pics of those models on Victoria's Secret ads and it completely grossed me out! Why would anybody want to just stop eating and become that skinny?!

I've always been worried that I wasn't girly enough to be with my friends since I never wore skirts, dresses, tank tops, or any nice clothes. I always wore things like track pants and t-shirts, and I was afraid my friends would leave me since I was such a tomboy. But I guess it doesn't matter how I dress or look because all I have to do is keep being myself and smile biggrin heart

We all have flaws, and I think it's okay to try and change them, just as long as you don't hurt yourself or obsess over it you know? But sometimes, it's our flaws that make us beautiful and unique!
