"Hmm...that usually does it. Try it again." Xian stood and looked around.

kogai threw it into the air and nothing happened
when the fruit tart came down kogai caught it without a problem

"That's not normal at all. It's like they're hiding from us." Xian picked up stones and threw them into the caves along side the canyon. "Maybe they're all dead?"

"no they arent all dead.....they are smart enough to stay away from us"kogai said

"I didn't beat them that bad. I mean, I even dulled my sword to keep from killing them all." Xian continued to toss rocks.

"im not sure........................want to duel?"kogai asked before throwing fireblasts into the sky

Xian thought about it for a while. "Well...sure. I got nothing else to do." He placed his sword next to the rocks and stood out in the center of the canyon. "So how you wanna do this? Bending or non-bending?" Xian stretched, getting ready for this little spar.

"non-bending first then bending second"kogai said before getting into a cobra stance

"That works for me." Xian stood still, bearing no stance. "So whose gonna attack first?" He was calm with anticipation.

kogai looked at him"you can....."kogai said while watching him closely

"Okay...Be ready." Xian ran towards Kogai, seemingly to not attack, but the dirt said other wise. It twisted and turned, revealing that his feet were moving quite fast in a circular, kicking motion. "Keep your eyes open."

kogai watched him closely not saying anything he was just watching him closely then when xian got close enough kogai threw a sweep kick then he threw a heel kick to the side of xian's head

Xian flipped, placing himself between both kicks in midair. Once Kogai's heel kick came across, he twisted around Kogai's leg, landing behind him before throwing a chop to his neck.

kogai was hit but he used it to his advantage he used the momentum from the hit to proppell himself into a cartwheel then he did a backflip over xian and he went for xian's arm and leg pressure points

As Kogai went for his pressure points, Xian pulled away his leg, allowing only his arm to be hit, but as the hits came into contact, he struck back with his own chi blocking strikes.
