intervention is WAY better than the .50 cal because of so many reasons:
1.Intervention makes you a beast/pro sniper.
2.Intervention forces you not to miss
3.Bolt Action= Sexy like Spas-12 pump action ftw!
4.Intervention+FMJ+Sleight of Hand pro= Beastly quick scopes
5.The camos look much better on intervention than it does on .50 cal
6.The .50 cal looks too bulky

There's not one single factual reason why the Intervention is any better than the Barret. Both are equally accurate and powerful, but the Barret holds twice as much ammunition and can fire more than twice as fast as well.
That being said, I do really like the Intervention. But it's technically inferior.
EDIT: Another reason the Barret is better: it has less sway when aiming than the Intervention.
