Although she likes her private space, she quickly takes a liking to outcasts (eg. tone-deaf). Usually she is calm, taking things as they come. Do not make jokes about her short tail.

Tone-deaf is aptly named. He screeches like you wouldn't believe, but all he really wants to do is sing. When he was younger he'd
sit on the highest branches in a tree and warble (it was warbling to him) his heart out. He dreamed of serenading pretty owlcat girls, but
they laughed at him and broke his heart. As time passed, no one wanted to be near him, but he simply couldn't be without his music.
He thought it might have been a fair trade-off, for music and solitude (he refused to call it loneliness). He got better at lying to himself, but
never at the music.

Bit by bit, it caught up to him and the emptiness took his voice away. He wouldn't sing. Wouldn't talk. He forgot how words were used, and
what they meant. One day he met Ephemeral Melody, out on a hunt. She tried to talk to him, and he couldn't answer, but since then they
have been wandering around together. He is learning (again) how to speak, and how to sing, but after all, he is still

tone-deaf.
