Na-nel sighed as she suddenly plopped Down onto Fang's back. " your getting us into trouble fang" she joked and scratched above his eye. She wasn't upset, just dissappointed she had to leave Axel... What was his plans anyways? She needed to know, but that would have to wait.
She lept from fang's back to go retrieve food for them both. When a couple of men and women approached her. " we know you tricked the people to get in here. And we know what you are. We should kill you demon girl" one of the girl's jabbed a sword as Na-Nels chest and she frowned. She hated human fears... She took the jab without fear and she sighed. " if I were a demon, do you think I would so stupidly come amongst you?" she questioned heartlessly. The man in charge of the group stepped forward " you are a demon, I can see it in you eyes" he spat at her, she clenched her jaw, it was all she could do from killing this insolent man. " your a fool to fear me, when the real danger is yet to come" she growled and was suddenly was whacked on the head from behind. She fell, seeing spots and gritting her teeth.

We are lost

"Attention everyone..." Exosus began to speak, although he was not one of much strength, what he did have was the ability to rally an audience. "I know we are experiencing some tough times, and I too have suffered, but we need to find someone, anyone to help us out of this destruction. We need to find the few survivors that we can, and I want to find Sonya, Calypso needs her. I haven't really gotten to know any of you, but I do know that I helped keep out the demons from ripping apart the few survivors within. I am going to show my worth, if it is the last thing I do! I swear upon my soul that this place shall be saved. We need to work together, and most of all, we need to get stronger. At this pace, I want you all to know, we have no hope of survival to leave this place. They don't come near here, we can get about a few miles away, before we start fighting the bigger, the badder and the tougher demons. We need someone who can save us!"

Slamming his fist into the ground, he was getting worked up, preparing for the demise that was to come. "We can't rely on anyone but ourselves. Teran...Teran is dead. I know it, he would have done something if he was alive. Those strange guys, Creed and Flux, they left. They can survive, but they don't want to help us, that is for sure. The Rebele was disbanded, after Tysulir was taken over by the darkness, and I was a strategy specialist of the group. I got away with my life, barely."

Standing up, and walking along the dust covered ground, Exosus approached the edge of the stronghold, moving his arms across the poorly built walls, covered in debris and tree trunks, the oak smelling of blood. "Even now... I can feel them. Feel them trying to get to us, to draw us to our death." There was no room for fear, for shame of what came to this place. "We didn't stop the Siege of Ethral, and this is the price we pay, the price everyone pays."

Pulling out Contrite Scourge from his sheath on his back, he began to walk towards the large gate that led out of the stronghold, only opened for emergencies. "If a few of us are okay to leave, let me know. Because I want to keep a group light, light enough to have minimal casualties. Because... we will probably die."

And will never be found.

(very minute post, because backspace did everything but what i wanted it to do at 2:30 in the morning)

By the time that Exosus had completed his speech, Calypso was already at the gate, waiting to be realeased like a hungry dog staring at a plate of dog food.

"Im ready to get this party started; though it would be nice to have a few females to come along with us as well." Calypso told Exosus, remembering his trip to the cat box, the kitty dungeon, satan's toilet, a.k.a the wastelands.

Na-Nel sighed and walked to the gate where the freakish Calypso was awaiting anxiously. She was rubbing her head and behind her was a mess of men and woman on the floor, still alive just badly beaten. " Anyone else claims im a demon again, and had the balls to hit me from behind WILL die" She growled and looked around with slitted eyes. She was pissed off after she tried so hard to be good.
Fang slithered behind her, and the little winged shadow flapped its wings excitedly from upon her back. " Besides I have a score to settle with someone out there anyways" She stated and lept onto Fang's back. " Calypso you perv, is you hog everything im going to kill you" She threatened and smiled. Excited and wanting to get back out.

Sila stepped forward after the brave mans speech. " I will come too" She said with determination, and useing her staff she walked over and stood by Calypso and chuckled, he looked so excited to get out is made her smile at him.
What she gathered is this woman who rode on the head of a large serpent knew Calypso and didnt like him... she didnt understand why, but was afraid to ask... She had slitted eyes like a snake! and she looked pissed off... on her way over she saw a bunch of people groaning on the floor and had stopped to help them as best she could, which is why she was tired. She wouldnt let it show though, her weakness compared to these tougher, braver people.... She was excited to be of use again, and maybe she would meet Deiter again, which lead to her heart beating irregularly. She blushed and looked away.

It is time for the Rebirth...

Person upon person stood to rise to the man's call to move and rise up to the challenge of standing up to imposing darkness that threatened to devour them all. A growing murmur spread through the small crowd of people that sat within the stronghold, growing louder and more determined. It became apparent that more and more people wanted to finally put an end to the madness that caused them all to cower and fear for their lives like frightened mouse surrounded by a group of cats. That was until a massive surge of energy erupted inside the stronghold, a great pressure being exerted on all within akin to that felt with the releasing of reiatsu.

Axel stepped forward, his eye narrowed slightly in an expression of clear displeasure. He stepped towards Exosus, his ruby eyes critically examining the man. Though what he had just done was not very wise and had the potential to draw some rather unpleasant visitors, what the young man before him was trying to do was by far more foolish. If Axel wasn't mistaken, the poor man was trying to lead a group of people out to their deaths, to fight off whatever scourge may be waiting beyond the walls to pluck the lives of these poor souls from their very bones. "Sit down kid. What exactly do you plan on doing? Do you have the strength to defend these people? To guard your own life as well as theirs?" Axel's eyes gleamed dangerously, for from the feel of the boy he was not too strong. "What this lot needs right now is a leader, not some fool-hearty boy with dreams of saving everyone sending them off to their deaths." Axel's words were a bit harsh, and in fact the man was in way a boy for he was older than Axel in fact, but eyes and gaze softened after a moment. With a sigh he relaxed and looked to the others around him. Along with Na-Nel, there were two others, one a man he had seen only briefly once before, and another a woman he had never seen before that was rather attractive.

"What's your name?" Axel asked nicely enough. He looked the man over a second time and actually took in his appearance, realizing that the man was older than he was.

A loud echo sounded throughout the land as it did by magic every week. "Disobedience, Rebellion, and any of the such shall not be tolerated in MY land!" the voice boomed throughout the area anywhere close to Ethral, though it would spread slowly. "Any form of two shall be punished by death, and rebirth under the cult! Follow the leadership, obey the leadership, and bow to the God!" the voice said. The voice was that of Defaeco, and ever since the siege, he had reclaimed leadership over the land, as a cruel dictator. Though it seemed that he fought a harsh war against the spread of demons, many knew it was false. It was a ruse. He started the spread, and it seemed no one could stop it. "I am your god, and without me, you shall fall!"

Keigo was about to leave as he heard defacieo's voice thunder across the sky. "Looks like he know we are here, guess i have no choice..." he said as he walked torward exodus and stood were he stood to make his speech. "Attention all i know this maybe a stupid question cause i know most of them are dead but are there and genesis here?" he said over the roar of fear from the people. "If there are i have a propesistion for you." he said with a grin. "We will get revenge....." he said under his breath.

"We do not need everyone to go, only a few who are willing to find a few survivors. Many have made it here, but I am willing to help." Stepping forward towards Na-Nel and Sila, he smiled, although it was tired, he looked genuine even when it was forced. "One of you should stay, we don't want to many. I suggest that you two discuss who stays and goes. But if you both wish to come, I won't stop you."

Looking at the man in front of him, it seemed that he too, was ready for change, but not in the manner that anyone would expect. "You are Axel right? I heard of you, friends with a few of the women around here. Your almost as much of a player as Calypso. Well, my name is Exosus. I am here to lead us to the victory that we need, and while I may not be the most powerful out of us, I can guarantee that I can create some of the best strategies." Staring at the man, he began to glare. "You should stay here, because if change does not come, then we have no hope at all. You just sit here and do nothing. I am going to do something. I told them they can die, and some are coming. So goodbye Axel, I am leaving." Readying himself to leave, he placed his blade into his hand, and opened the gate, walking out of the area, and into the wasteland before him.

"Lets go..."

Before the white haired man left it bugged keigo cause for some reason he had a feeling about him. "Hey you with the white hair, didnt i fight you before......yes i believe i did, you i take it are the lightning genesis, are you not?" he said. "Casue if you are, i have someone who want to talk to you but first we need to find the other living genesis, if you are willing to that is, if you want to bring this land back to it original state.

Calypso was not the only person that was both brave and foolish to enter the lands outside of the Stronghold. There were a few more people that were willing to do what they can; most of the people were those who had the privelege of teaming up with Calypso. First was Viper, who had seemed to have a knack for having men wanting to hit on her; literally. The part where she had demon blood in here was the part that did not help her at all. The platinum haired warrior did not know that she was a demon; more than likely though he didn't bother to check out the signs.

Viper had had managed to pass through the crowd and waited near the entrance alongside the platinum playboy.

"Anyone else claims im a demon again and has the balls to hit me from behind will die!" she told everyone in a angry tone.

The platinum haired warrior right then wanted to give Viper a good ol smack across the head. He would not even have use his electricity to amplifiy the speed; though at his level he more than likely would not have to. It would be a simple smack across her pretty head. Instead he commented on her threat, hoping to get a few smiles from those who were going to stay here.

"Don't worry Viper im sure no man will want to hit THAT from the back."

A few snickers were heard from the crowd while others couldn't hold in their laughter. Though their laughter came to a end when they saw fang slither right behind Viper. Calypso blew a kiss towards Fang but the beast ignored it while Viper hopped on the anaconda's back.

"Besides I have a score to settle with someone out there anyways." she said.

"You're not talking about Creed are you? Heh, it dosen't matter because whatever is out there is going to kiss the end of my blade. As for the women that are out there, well...you know the rest. Rest assured i'll try to save you guys a few critters."

"Calypso you perv, if you hog everything im going to kill you." she said

"Yeah Yeah Yeah anything to get your hands on me." he said before smiling back towards Viper.

With these two on board one thing was for certain and that was that there was going to be a lot of talking/arguing/flirting between the two. Some might even consider turning their own blade towards themselves just so that they could spare themselves from hearing the platinum playboy and Viper go at it verbally. However once Sila stepped up, then Calypso got a bit dubious. He did find her more attractive than Viper and even though Sila was nicer to the platinum haired warrior, at least Viper was more than likely to get the job done if the worse would happen.

Though it seemed that she had gotten over what had happened 2 years ago. The platinum haired warrior figured that he might as well be one hundred percent over it; after all in these times, almost everything out there is fully corrupted. Calypso figured that she would be using that bow more often rather than her healing treatments. If she did decide to get in the way of the others finishing the job, this time she had to answer to more than just the platinum haired warrior.

Unfortunately when there was people willing to put their lives on the line for a better tomorrow, there were those who were not so foolish, like Axel. At first it seemed like he was on board for the trip, but instead he gave a lecture on how foolish his plan was and what they needed was a leader. Calypso was not suprised at all; if Axel was not going to do it, eventually someone else would have. Calypso did not care about Axel's choice of words; he was mostly doing this to have some fun. Saving the lands and all that heroic stuff came behind his primary objective.

There was also another that disagreed with Exosus's plans; only this time instead of a confrontation, it came from a unknown source. Though more than likely it was the weird shaped castle Calypso got a glimpse of. It was the voice of the light genesis, Defaeco, stating that any form of rebellion is unaccepted and that the ultimate punishment will be delivered to those who dare try. Calypso then attempted to mock Defaeco's speech to get a couple of laughs out of some people and to calm them down.

"BLAH BLAH BLAH I AM DEFAECO I HAVE TERRIBLE SOCIAL SKILLS THAT'S WHY I DON'T SHOW MY FACE WHEN I MAKE THREATS. I ALSO HAVE POOR BLADDER CONTROL AND IS SPEAKING FROM A RESTROOM NEARBY WITH A MEGAPHONE AND NO TOILET PAPER."

That was a familiar presence showed up; it was the ninja from before known as Agito. He had a completely different appearance from before. No doubt the darkness did take his body too lightly when Agito tried to become a master in the element. Speaking of master, Calypso felt that Agito, or Keigo has gotten much stronger over these two years. At first, Agito had no chance against the platinum haired warrior; now he may become more than just a warm up to matching Calypso with the amount of power Keigo has obtained. He was not interested in becoming part of the team but rather he was making a proposition; whoever was a genesis should team up with Agito and they would get personal revenge against the one responsible for this.

Now Calypso unfortunately was not a genesis. He could have been; he SHOULD have been but he was not. However due to his olympic god weapon he was the second strongest lightning user, behind right behind the genesis of lightning. While he did not meet the demands of what Keigo wanted, if Calypso were to join them, perhaps they would have make a better team than Exosus. After all, Keigo was an elite in the darkness and Calypso was an elite in the lightning element. Those two already had more power than anyone in the stronghold. Calypso looked back and forth between Exosus and Keigo, making it seem like his loyalty would be questioned for a couple of seconds before making his mind up.

"While i may be the one closest to meeting your demands, there are no genesis here. And i think i'll pass on your offer on finding the other genesis. Besides, i think i'll have more fun hanging around these people anyway."

Just as Calypso declined Keigo's offer to join him even though he was not a genesis, Exosus declined Axel's offer in stepping down and allowing someone else to take over. He recommended Axel to stay here since he his doubt was overwhelming his hope. Though Calypso didn't bother listening to the two; all the words he really took in were the important ones.

"Lets go!"

"ALRIGHT, LET'S DO THIS! Don't wait up for me ladies!" he yelled out in an excited tone just before running into the outsides of the Stronghold. Chaos was waiting for him with it's jaws open wide and the platinum haired warrior was jumping in face first.

"Well its a pitty, well if you ever change your mind shoot lightning in the air and i will find you."he said ashe the white haired man left.
"Now for you two stop fighting, the only person you should be fighting is the cult, now if you to kids are done fighting, i have something to say, for all those of you that wish to become stronger then follow me and i shall train you, the way i trained my self, if not stay here and die like maggots, i am looking for the strongest, i am starting my own band of hereoes, naru is the leader i am the second strongest im probably the strongest here right now, so what do you say?"he asked.

Na-Nel frowned as she saw Axel get angered. She frowned and sighed. She would not leave unless he left anyways. " how foolish..." Axel seemed to break the spell of inspiration the man had woven around her. " that would have been foolish" she muttered and appeared I'm the blink of an eye at the side of Axel and placed a hand on his arm. " o beleive you are right" she looked straight out sheepishly. " I would not have left without you coming with anyways" she shrugged and smiled up to him.
Sudden she heard the bellow of a man and frowned. " I beleive there is A call for battle" she whispered and her eyes slitted as she looked in the direction of the voice.

"Those of you who want to become strong follow me to the castle of darkness, you will become stronger with my help, but if i help you you must join are cause and take back the land and rule it ourselves, and banish the accursed light genesis." he said as he raised his sword in the air getting ready to open a portal.
"Just walk through this and you will be at naru's castle, if you dont want to come youll find me at mysts' tower." he said as he looked into the eyes of the once brave.
