It's just a coincidence. A pretty funny one at that.

Also maybe Bowser's Galaxy Generator in SMG2 because it's ******** glorious but I won't post that because it like just came out so it's kind of a spoiler

that first one is earthworm Jim, the subterranean and office levels, just brings back good memories. the second is from stubbs the zombie, and I just think is a terrific remix. third one, gang plank galleon from the first donkey kong country, I get hit with such a nostalgia bomb when I listen to this, donkey kong country is one of my all time favorite games

In my opinion music is the second most important aspect of a videogame (the first being gameplay of course), so naturally I pay very close attention to the music in any game I play. This being said, I could probably rattle off quite a bit of music but I'll just go and peruse my Youtube account for now...
