God of War 3 should pretty much be at the top of the list, especially with you being a Zelda fan.

I don't see how God of War has anything to do with Zelda...

I guess. But they are still very different. God of War is way more combat based, and the style of the puzzles are very different. A Zelda fan can easily dislike it.

The combat in God of War is much more fluid, so I don't see how that would be a downside. The puzzles are also similar enough to warrant a comparison. David Jaffe, the series' creator, has even talked about implementing Zelda elements into God of War, meaning I'm not the only person who has thought of the comparison. I don't see what a Zelda fan would dislike about it other than linearity and context-sensitive stuff.

I find the puzzles in God of War to be very frusterating actually, especially the ones that have me doing something like push a block with infinitely respwaning enemies, and that block gets puched back whenever I'm not pushiing it, and similer puzzles. But I found all the puzzles to be more in the way then anything else, Puzzles in Zelda are a lot more fun. I find the combat to not be super fun in either, but in GoW, aside from the annoying to mediocre puzzles, that's all it is.

Zelda has more freedom in exploration as well, including sidequests, GoW is very Linear.
It may have some Zelda-like elements, but it is far from being similer to Zelda. It is a bit hard to explain how the puzzles are so much different from Zelda, but something about them is just plain annoying to me, but I love them in zelda.

Yeah, it is a good suggestion, a lot of people do like it, I'm just saying it's not that similer to Zelda, lol. Since I'm a huge Zelda fan, but don't like GoW much.

Darksiders is supposed to be a great Zelda clone. I haven't played it, but I hear good things.

I'd also recommend Bayonetta, but I don't know if they improved the PS3's port. It was significantly worse than the 360's version. At least the demo was awesome.

Right now I am leaning towards Red Dead Redemption and Darksiders as the next games I buy

One of my buddies liked White Knight Chronicles...also, even though it's kinda old and some of the gameplay is annoying, The Darkness is a fantastic game.
