"WOOAH!" When Meggie had almost dropped him, Josh had felt it. "Hold your horses. You'll be able to go in there when you turn 21, Sweets." Getting up, he thanked the two. "Well, I guess we can go look for him, he's usually in the library. If not then he's probably gone to check out his dorm. He's a class A nerd."
Phoebe began to imagine what this Lysander might look like.. Nerd.. Sure now a days nerds didn't have those thick classes and overalls.. But for some reason she picture exactly that.
"Alright then, a hunting we will go!"

Meggie apologized to Josh for almost dropping him and followed behind him on the search for Lysander. A class A nerd? I bet Josh is over-exaggerating I mean they are brothers right? Meggie hoped they'd find Lysander soon, this mystery guy was very intriguing, and she hadn't even met him yet!

"Step brothers. To remind you." He had seen her different facial expressions. "There's no blood relation, and he just became my brother two years ago." Going over to his brothers normal spots, Josh frowned after the last one. "Sorry ladies.. Looks like he's not here. We can finish this tour later if you want and you can go and meet my brother, I'm sure he's in his dorm room."
Just then a white haired boy came into the library, breathing heavily as if he had ran all the way there. "Ooh man." Taking his hands up to his forehead, he pushed back his hair to allow some air to go through it. This usually helped him cool off, even if his hair went right back to it's normal way down. Walking over to a water fountain he began to drink out of it.
"Oh! Never mind! He must be running late.. Literally." Josh began to laugh at his awful pun.
Phoebe smiled at Josh, a sort of smile that showed that she didn't think it was funny but she was trying to be polite. Looking over at Joshes step brother, she couldn't help but see how good looking he was. Though.. He sure was drinking a lot of water..

Meggie giggled at Josh's lame pun, and looked Lysander. Josh might not think they're related but they are both insanely yummy! "Are books that important to you?" Meggie yelled out sarcastically to Lysander.

Still drinking water from the water fountain, Lysander glanced over at her. Who in the world was she? Did he accidentally meet her when he was to into his book one day? Because she did NOT look familiar what so ever.
"Hey bro! I think you've had enough water!" Josh came up to Lysander and slapped his back. It was his way of telling Lysander that people were starting to stare at how much water he was drinking.
With one last big gulp, Lysander stood up straight. "I'm guessing the two ladies are friends of yours? Lola must not be to happy with you."
"Dude, we're not even going out. Why should I care." Though he knew exactly why he should care.
"Whatever." Turning to the two girls, he smiled. It was a sort of smile a prince would give, but he didn't try, it was just his own gorgeous smile. "Yes, books are that important to me. Plus I'm on a schedule of studying."
"But school just started." Phoebe pointed out.
"It's never to early to start studying."

Getting a full look at Lysander, Meggie decided that he was 'a cute nerd', and Phoebe could have Josh. She smiled back at him, "Hi I'm Meggie, and this is Phoebe. Josh said you go to the Shadow School too, and since your already 'in study mode' does that mean you already have your classes picked out?" Hoping that they had at least a class together so she could chat with him later.

Noticing that Meggie was having more interest in Lysander, Phoebe looked over at Josh. Though, she knew she had no shot with this guy. His heart was already to Lola's, even if he didn't want to fully admit it. "So talk to me." Walking off, she left Meggie alone with Lysander.
Seeing what Phoebe was doing, Josh waved at Lysander and Meggie and left with Phoebe to talk with her.
"I would introduce myself, but I'm sure my brother already told you my name and everything." Though he wondered if his brother mentioned what his 'ability' was, as the school put it. "And I got that done the first day you were allowed to." Reaching into his back pocket he pulled out his schedule. His father told him to always be nice to anyone, from that school or not. So if this girl wanted to know if he already had his classes picked out, since he figured she wanted to know what ones and if they had any classes together, then he would allow her to see his schedule.

Meggie noticed Josh's and Phoebe's exit, and knew what was going on, she gave Phoebe the, 'Meet up later?' look and focused all of her attention back on Lysander. "Ooo! We have English, Myths, and Dance together." She smiled at him, then her brows furled in, why would a guy want to take dance? debating on whether or not she should say anything the curiouser side of her brain finally took over and Meggie gave in "Dance huh? Not many guys would be brave enough to pick it, good for you. So do you just come here to study or do you just read, to read?"

Watching her facial expression, he had seen enough TV to realize she was curious. "Why do I need bravery to go into dance? It's a work out, you use your brain." Starting to walk to one of his normal spots, Lysander grabbed a dictionary close by along with Glenn Beck's book The Overton Window. "I come here to do both." Walking over to a table, he held the seat out for her. That's what men are supposed to do for women right?
Phoebe had got the look just as she was turning the corner. With a wink to her new found friend she and Josh left to a different part of the library.

Meggie found his gentlemen move very sweet. She hopped over and sat down next in the seat he had just pulled out and smiled. "Well, where I used to live guys didn't really dance, so it's brave of you to do so."

Pushing her in lightly, it was as if she were only a feather. Walking over to the seat across from her, he sat his books down. "Oh, I see. No one seemed to mind back in the.." He stopped where had Josh said he was from? Or did he say where he was from? "Small town where I'm from." He finished. Pushing the Glenn Beck book in front of her he asked, "Anyway, have you heard of this book?"

"OMG! I'm a small town girl too! But then again there are a lot of them to where it's pretty common that you'd run into another small town kid. And I've heard the book's title before but never have I read it, what's it about?" She hoped she wasn't messing with his very important study time.

Completely forgetting that he was supposed to be studying, Lysander smiled. "The man who wrote this is a great guy, I listen to him every day at his airing hours." Staring at the book for a moment, he shook his head as if he had gone into deep thought. "I've only gotten to chapter 11 truthfully." He seemed embarrassed. "But so far it's about this Noah Gardner guy, his father is Arthur Gardner, and I guess Arthur helps powerful political people.. But mostly for his own gain of power. Then Noah meets this girl who's in this group that goes against everything Noah learned growing up. It's actually really interesting." Hearing how he explained it, he frowned. "I know it kind of sounds like a love story, but it's way more than just that. The love story is more on the side lines.. In.. A way.." Realizing he had gone on and on about the book he quieted down. "Well, I'm just glad you have at least heard of the book. Josh didn't even have a clue who Glenn Beck was."

"That doesn't surprise me! Josh seems to into that Lola girl. But the book sounds really cool, I'll have to read it some time. She smiled at him, "So do you have to study all day, or can you take a break and we can talk about other things somewhere else. Like the Park?" Meggie prayed he would be able to hang out, he was interesting, and she wanted to learn more about him.

"Well, good." He was glad that she would read it some time. Hearing the second part, he frowned. "I had actually completely forgot that I was supposed to be studying." He confessed. Glancing at the book, to Meggie, to outside you could see how unsure he was. "Well.." His father would never know. Josh wouldn't tell him, he's lied for him before. "The Park does sound nice." He just needed a little more push to get him to go.
