Lucien had stopped abruptly when he seen this door. There was something about this door, but he wasn't sure what it was, that was drawing his attention to it. It was pulling him to it. Spells, Hexes, Curses... backwards, but Lucien got the point. He thought about his family, and his element of the air. Air was considered a magic, right? And he was considered air. It made sense to him, but he hesitated. He was standing in front of the door until the air around him seemed to push him into the doorway, causing him to fly into the classroom and nearly onto his face.
He promptly grabbed hold of a nearby desk. He had made a lot of noise and cautiously looked around at the other students as he regained his composure. He hadn't really recognized anyone until he seen another ghost, a pretty young lady with a scroll on her face. He had seen her before, hadn't he? It was something about a scroll on the face that you just didn't forget. He found himself floating on over to her, taking a seat next to her.
"Salutations," he said to her. "Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Lucien, may I inquire what yours is my..." Don't say scroll face lady, don't say it, don't say it. He tried hard to keep that thought as he looked over her to find some other train of thought to finish his next thought, "... sc... scantily dressed lady?"
Damn it.

Braum wandered into class nonchalantly, slipping in soundlessly. While he usually WANTED to make his presence known, stealth wasn't totally out of his range. He wasn't perfect of course, but he could always sign up for the Stealth class next season. What worried him at the moment though, was much more pressing and vital to his well-being. Curses and magics were always good to have, especially to a demon with such a large handicap. Not that he'd TELL anyone his wings were both his greatest asset and most dibilitating weakness, but he was sure there were at least a FEW people around school smart enough to figure out if the bones are light enough to fly, they're probably light enough to break too. He shivered slightly, thinking about the prospect of getting his wings clipped was not pleasant.
And so he was here. It was almost mandatory for any good Reaper or Demon to pass through this class actually, or at least that's what father said. Anyone who couldn't control or utilize their magic was practically worthless. Who knew, maybe there was even a spell or curse to stop his visions? He grimaced as he took to leaning on a back wall, his arms crossed and sharp eyes evaluating everyone here, careful not to be taken by surprise. The visions were even worse than his fragile wings. If he could pick and choose when to have them, AND lay curses on others, he'd be nigh unstopable. Or at least he thought so. But then, he'd always tended to think incredibly highly of himself. Rubbing his temples with a small groan, he felt a headache coming on. Headaches always meant visions, and he leaned down slightly to swoop up his flask of brightly colored liquid, taking a greedy gulp of it. Drinking until he had to stop for lack of air, he took a steadying breath and put the cork back on it, licking his lips for remnants of the toxic fluid. Using his thumb to delicately wipe a small bit at the corner of his mouth off, he licked it clean and frowned at himself. He was needing more toxins to suppress the visions, and consequently the warning signs of one coming on, than he used to.
Perhaps this class could not have come at a better time.

Colette had hurried toward the classroom at a pretty good speed, though the pace was considered normal to her, and took a moment to go through her memory. This is where the Curses, Hexes, and Spells class is supposed to be; right? She hoped she remembered correctly, she didn't want to think of how embarrassing it would be to go to the wrong room.
Walking into the doorway, she took a quick look around the room. Well. Even if it possibly wasn't Curses, Hexes, and Spells; it seemed to be the class for many Reapers and that was good enough for her. Colette wanted to take every important reaper class and more! To her dismay, someone had already chosen to occupy the middle of the room. She figured she would have to learn to get to places faster. Or maybe just wake up earlier. The next best thing, Colette thought, would have to be center back of the room.
Not taking her eyes off the large desk in the front, Colette walked around to the back and along the number of seats offered until she felt most comfortable. One seat away from other students, she thought, but the closest to the center of the row as possible. It probably looked completely strange and awkward to anyone who took attention to her, but she was pleased with the fact what she'd probably see most was the back of everyone's head and the professor's face. Now she just hoped no one would bother her too much.

She was so engrossed in her little origami project, Mai hadn't noticed the boy take a seat next to her. Even after he had addressed her directly, it was probably an entire minute or more before she realized someone was actually talking to her. Well, she hadn't realized it herself really. Her ghost fire companion puffed and huffed at her until she noticed that it was indicating the other student. Mai's gaze slid sideways, her head turning with it a second later. Cute, was her first thought as she took him in. But it was followed quickly by a inward sigh of disappointment as she sensed for some sign of body heat coming from him and found only the coldness of her own kind.
"Helloo," she said in her quietly echoing voice, as she tried to recall what the boy had said. Her memory sluggishly backtracked until she thought she had everything. "Lucien." Her eyes dropped to her own clothing. Scantily dressed? She didn't really think so... but she supposed she might be showing a bit more than some of the other students. Somehow, she found it amusing that he would address her thusly. Her eyes returned to his, a small smirk pulling at the corner of her mouth. The little blue flame spirit floated over to Lucien and did its customary inspection, slowly circling the boy a few times.
"My namme is Mai," she offered with a polite nod of her head. "Nice to meet yoouu."

Coralie put Luka deliberately on her other shoulder, though it seemed unlikely that would deter the curious little feline. Seeming fully aware of this fact she looked over at Ithi and told her, "Don't worry, if he goes for it again it shouldn't last long. Even a little smack will send him scurrying, he's a pretty big wimp." She took a moment to pass Ithi's raven a glance too and came to the conclusion tat Luka would get his little tail kicked if he tried anything. That bird didn't look terribly friendly, at least in regards to the feline.
Her attention was quickly redirected as another Reaper came over to her. She raised her brows at the large scythe, not so much because it could talk, which wasn't something she was unused to, but because it was such a large, sharp thing to just...carry around. Huh! She wondered if it ever caused in problems, lugging it around all day.
"Coralie," she replied, "Though just Cora please. And this, though you may not actually want to know, is Wilfred." She gestured to her hat who seemed to be eyeing Tartalo with interest. Not that it was ever really easy to see what he was looking at, just by being...a hat and all.
"Get yerself some manners!" Complained Wilfred. "Look at how po-lite dem two are? Could take lesson from 'em, ya hear?"
Apparently she didn't, because she ignored the comment and instead just replied to Lilura. "Looks like it. Guess most of the guys at school just don't have it in them." She knew that her friend Morton was quite the opposite, actually; he was quite terrified of magic, so obviously he was a little less than qualified to practice it.

Hadiyya slipped into the classroom at a brisk walk. Not late, not yet, but on the verge! She was really going to have to work on her tardiness. A soft apology was hurriedly delivered to Prof. Audley as she passed the front desk, and after noticing the books everyone seemed to be flipping though, she helped herself to one before looking for a seat.
Thankfully she didn't have to worry about where to sit. A familiar face caught her attention at once, and she weaved her way through the desks until she could take a seat beside Braum. "I didn't know you were taking this class," she whispered, crossing her legs beneath her desk and she flipped the book open to a random page. In hindsight she really shouldn't have been surprised to see him. He did have a strong attraction to magic. All the same, she was happy to see him.
A quick glance around showed a few other familiar faces, and she happily offered Belladonna a friendly wave before nodding a greeting to Sin. She also spotted Mai not too far away, but she seemed to be busy talking to someone else. She'd greet the ghost later maybe, if time permitted.
((S'all good. <3))
