Asmodeus Oh no, there ain't no rest for the wicked, "Shut it, I know we're on the same side! Can't you just die for me without being difficult?!" shouted Asmodeus, as he dueled with another demon. This foe in particular looked more like a dragon then anything, though. Quickly using his sword to block a deadly swipe of razor sharp claws, Asmodeus gritted his teeth. He was aware that the angels were watching; from a safe distance of course. What he was doing made him look insane and rabid, in his opinion. After several more minutes of harsh words and even harsher actions, Asmodeus managed to slay the other demon.
He himself wasn't unscathed, though. Several deep claw marks could be seen on his back, his jacket almost shredded. Crouching to catch his breathe for a moment, he glared at the ground while thinking. He couldn't let the other demons escape back into hell, saying that Asmodeus had gone feral. The only way for him to get through this was to take out all the other demons here. By the sound of things though, angelic warriors had already arrived to confront most of the budding threats.
Ignoring the searing pain in his back, he started to make his way back to Ashur and the pink haired girl. As he got closer to the building, he could see the spirit still standing on the roof, seemingly talking with someone else up there. "Can't he ever keep his mouth shut?! Ugh! And why are they still on the roof!" he grumbled, as he began the tedious task of climbing up all the stairs.
Till we close our eyes for good...

"I hear there are even more beautiful places somewhere here," she said, a hint of sadness in her voice. It may appear that it was because she was sad she was probably leaving. She didn't even know where she was going. The truth was, she had so many bad memories of this world. Heaven wasn't all fun and games; that much was sure. Eli felt the demon before coming back up the stairs. She wouldn't call it a gift, but she was very talented at tracking auras. Most likely more so then a normal angel or demon. It never really bothered her. "Your companion is making his way back up," she said, simply. She turned her attention once more to the town. She didn't really want to focus on one thing.
Eli was suddenly light headed. It began to hurt to breath. Her breath came out jagged and rough. It was happening again. She hadn't had a attack in years. So why now of all times. With her hand clutching her chest, she collapse to her knees. Her vision blurred out and she struggled to keep consciousness. She didn't want to pass out now of all times. The reason she was always shut up in a house. Her father was overprotective and when she had her first attack, he wasn't there. Ever since then he wouldn't let her out of the house, expect very rarely.
Eli slowly recovered from the attack. She sighed as she begun to feel normal again. At least she didn't pass out this time. It hadn't been a bad one, thankfully. It had left her tired, though. She didn't have the strength to fight anymore, even if she had a weapon. She turned to the spirit. "We...should be..going soon. The warriors are coming," she said, slowly.

Ashur Good? Evil? Don't be daft; those are just mere words. The spirit grew visibly concerned when the girl almost collapsed and fell unconscious. There was nothing he could do for her at the moment, though. "Oh dear.. Is there a type of medication you require? The demon may be harsh at times, but he's not stupid. If there is something you need before we leave please do speak up." When Asmodeus did finally make it to the roof, he seemed rather exhausted. Ashur then gestured to the girl. "We may have to do a bit of sightseeing before I open a portal to Earth. Our guest is not feeling so well. She may need medicine of some kind."
The demon looked like he was about to argue, but the spirit held his hand up to gesture for a moment's pause. "Asmodeus, a hostage is no good to you dead." The spirit then started to walk towards the demon before fading away.
You know it in your heart, what you should and shouldn't be doing.

Asmodeus Oh no, there ain't no rest for the wicked, "W-what?!" was all he could manage to blurt out before Ashur disappeared. His sword was gone now; sent back to where ever he had summoned it from. Resting with both hands on his knees, he winced as blood continued to trickle from the wound on his back. "Hey," he called out to the girl. "You have a name, right? Or do you want to be called 'girl' from now on? Also, we can't leave until Ashur is satisfied. So do you need anything from home or not? We'll be traveling to the human world."
All in all, this didn't really feel like a hostage situation to him. More like he was being her servant or something. Already though, he could see the warrior angels spreading throughout the streets. Not liking the looks of that, he grabbed the girl's arm before pulling her back into the building. "Look, today is NOT going like how I planned it. And I'd REALLY appreciate your cooperation with this."

Eli was a bit surprised to hear the word hostage. She guessed that was what she was though. She was pulled into the building. "Well, since you asked so kindly. I know of several secret passage ways out of here. The warriors shouldn't know them. And I'm not going back to that place. It's crawling with servants. Ah, also, I'm Elizabeth but most call me Eli. I could go home, but I'd probably be caught and put under house arrest. I've been gone too long already, I'm sure someone would have noticed especially with the ruckus you caused. They would be waiting for me," she said, quietly and quickly.
Eli noticed the pain in her chest was gone. "I should be fine. They come and go, it's been like this for years," she said, looking away. It wasn't like she wanted to go to Earth. She felt bad about it. She was indeed a hostage, but for what? Did it have something to do with that archfiend? She wanted to go home and get back into the daily routine. She guaranteed once this was all over she would listen for now on. She wondered if she should run. She would never make it, even with the demon looking hurt. There was still that other one...what was his name Ashur? She didn't know what that whole thing was about, but she doubted he was harmless.
Eli looked around, even if she did know passage ways, she didn't like going in them. They were cramped and dark, two things she did not like. She was exhausted as much as she was scared of the demon and his...companion she supposed was the best word for it. Eli wasn't strong. She was weak and lived a sheltered life. She liked to act like she wasn't but it was easy to see after about five minutes with her. The only thing she was good for was fleeing, and even then she wasn't that good at it.

Asmodeus Oh no, there ain't no rest for the wicked, Asmodeus nodded at the information she gave him. They wouldn't need to sneak around Heaven, though. Satisfied with what she had told him, the demon dragged her back out onto the roof, in plain sight of the advancing warrior angels below. "This is just a sliver of what's to come," he shouted. "Release Debrak at once! Or our next act of retribution shall cause tenfold the destruction of today's chaos!" The demon's left eye began to glow again, a soft emerald color. With a wave of his hand, a portal opened up before them, leading to the human world.
He stepped through it, and pulled Elizabeth along as well. They stepped out of the portal into a rather lavish and large room. Letting go of Eli, the demon then turned around to close the portal before anyone could follow them. He then glanced at the angel with a smirk. "Make yourself at home. I assume you'll be living here for a while." They were up on one of the higher floors of a skyscraper, in the middle of a large, bustling city. The suite they were in screamed 'upscale,' and there was even a sliding glass door leading out to a balcony outside. Reaching into his coat, Asmodeus pulled out a metal collar. "One of the house rules here, is you're wearing this. One way or another. It'll suppress your aura, and cast an illusion over your wings, so you look like a human."
The demon grabbed her before reaching up to lock the collar around her neck. As their eyes met, the fiend glared harshly. "We both know I'm wounded, but I can still tear you to pieces, so no funny business... Got it?"

Eli was silent the whole time. Debrak....so this was about that archfiend. Her eyes widened as she had a collar locked around her neck. She tugged at it. She glared back at the demon. "As if I could do anything," she mumbled, obviously with a attitude. She was fired up, and mad. She had been forced to wear a collar like a pet. She turned away facing a window. Looking out it she studied over the human city.
Eli noted it was a lot dirtier then she had expected. She saw a lot of people and several vehicles. It was sort of fascinating, but she couldn't help but think it was ugly. She couldn't see grass anywhere. Without turning around she said, "You know. You should do something about those wounds. Only an idiot would get wounded." She was seriously mad at the moment. It was bad enough she was forced here, and forced to wear a collar; now she was stuck with a demon. She didn't even know where they were, other then they were on Earth.
Eli found a sofa and sat down, propping up her head with her hand. She avoided eye contact with the demon. "You know, they won't give up Debrak so easily," she said. It was true. The capture of that archfiend was a serious political thing. Everyone in Heaven knew about it already. Eli thought it was a dumb move on their part, and apparently she was right. It did make the demons plan a way to get him unreleased.

Asmodeus Oh no, there ain't no rest for the wicked, He scowled at her 'suggestion' to tend to his injury. "Yeah, I should have let my brethren tear up Heaven, huh?" he retorted back. Asmodeus removed his coat, before tossing it to the side. He liked that coat. It would need to be repaired later. The truth of the matter though, was that he couldn't do anything other then wait for his wounds to heal. It wasn't like he could really stitch himself up, or apply a healing salve. He couldn't reach the three claw marks stretching down his back. The demon was clearly agitated from the pain, though.
When she mentioned that it would take more effort to get Debrak released, he chuckled softly before shaking his head. "And the longer they keep him alive, the longer your kind will suffer for it. And for what? Hm? God? Is that it? God?" asked the demon, as he moved next to the large glass window with smug grin. "You're young, so I'm going to let you in on a little inside information about God. God, likes to watch. He's a prankster; think about it." Asmodeus then gestured outside before continuing. "He gives man free will and instincts. He gives them these extraordinary gifts, and what does he do? I swear, for his own amusement, his own cosmic, private gag reel, he sets the rules in opposition."
It was clear just where the demon stood on the subject of God. But he was a demon, so that wasn't unexpected. "It's the goof of all time. Do you remember the story of creation? The Garden of Eden, and the Tree of Knowledge? Look, but don't touch.. Touch. But don't taste.. Taste! Don't swallow," he said with a laugh. "And while humans are jumping from one foot to another, what is He doing? He's laughing his sick, f***ing a** off! He's a cheapskate! He's a sadist! Worship that?! NEVER!" spat the demon.

Asmodeus Oh no, there ain't no rest for the wicked, Oddly, he too was content with her trying to change the topic of their conversation. Thumbing his nose, he smirked, avoiding her gaze altogether. "You've never been hurt like this, have you? Of course it's painful, but I've had worse. What do you care, angel?" asked Asmodeus in a weary tone. Placing one hand on the glass of the large window, he continued to look outside. Visibly, he seemed to be relaxed, tired even. "I'm a demon; pain is a common sensation for my kind. After a while.. You just come to expect pain, even embrace it at times. Scars are akin to badges of honor, for us."
He allowed his legs to give out, and fell back onto his butt with a grunt. The demon's green eye began to glow softly, but he just covered it with a hand. "Ashur wants to know if you're alright. And.. Oh, you go to Hell, Ashur. What makes you think she would really help me?!" shouted the demon. Forcing himself to stand up, he sighed and shook his head. "What do you mean why? She's an angel, and I'm a demon! Historically speaking, that's reason enough! NO I'm not gonna say please!"

Eli sighed. "Fine. Just offering to help," she said. She wanted to further talk, but instead she shut her mouth. She stared out the window. She looked at Asmodeus. No one had ever said that angels couldn't help demons. All well, she was sorry for offering. She should have known better, why she never learned she would never know. She drew a breath, "It still isn't good not to put even some medicine on it, even if demons like scars for some odd reason," she said. She looked away from the demon at this point, and back out the window. She didn't have the energy to fight now anyway.
Eli had to admit though, this had been one of her more exciting and tiring days. She was sure she had enough to last her a week, and she was sure more days were to come. Honestly, her father's idea of excitement for her is reading books all day. Not fun books either. Stuff like human history. Even she knew that stuff was sort of boring, but at least it was easier then angel history. Eli thought about what he said for a minute. "Well, I'm perfectly fine. Other then I'm in the human world and I'm tired," she said, regretting that she hadn't fled when she had a chance to earlier.

Asmodeus Oh no, there ain't no rest for the wicked, Leaning against the large window with both hands, he sighed. Talking in a softer voice now, he told her where to find a jar of healing salve. "It's in one of the top kitchen cabinets. You'll know it when you see it," he said. As an afterthought he added. "Please?" The jar itself was made from a polished skull, the the top of the skull able to open like a lid. It wasn't something that came from the human world, obviously. Asmodeus had brought a few things to remind him of home. Most of said things would probably offend or scare Eli though, so he made no mention of them.
As his green eye stopped glowing, he moved to a bookshelf. There weren't many books on it though, and most of the ones there looked ancient. Taking one off of the shelf, he then sat on the floor, near the sofa Eli had been sitting in. The book he held was old, the pages faded and torn. Carefully flipping through the pages, he frowned. The writing inside was very neat, but Asmodeus still couldn't understand it. All he knew was that it was a journal of some kind that belonged to Ashur. The angel wouldn't tell him about it though.

Asmodeus Oh no, there ain't no rest for the wicked, He glanced over his shoulder at the sound of her voice. Asmodeus was about to answer her first question but was then asked a second question. Glancing down at the book in his hands for a moment, he then looked back up at the angel and frowned. "Hardly," came his muttered response. "And yes, that is the jar." The demon then removed his shirt so Eli would have an easier time applying the salve. He scowled, looking at the large tears in the back of the shirt. It made him a little sick to think he received injuries from helping angels.
"Just use your fingers to apply the ointment. Don't worry, I don't bite," he said with a smirk. Closing the book in his lap, he set it on the side next to him. He wondered why he was being civil, nice even, to a prisoner. Aside from the fact that Ashur would intervene, anyways. Feeling a headache coming on, he gently rubbed his foreheads with both hands, closing his eyes with a frown. The demon felt like sleeping for a few days, but knew that Eli would probably try to escape or something if he did. 'Not like she can do anything,' he reminded himself.

Eli glanced over his wounds. Well, they were weren't light scratches, that much was for sure. "Ah, okay," she said. She noticed him closing the book, it was a old book. She didn't pay it any mind. She opened the jar, and got some on her fingers. She started to apply the stuff to his wounds, wondering why she was even bothering. At least he seemed to be in a better mood. She really didn't feel like having him almost bite off her head every day she was here.
Eli finished applying the salve. She closed the jar. "There," was all she said. She went back into the kitchen. She washed the salve off her fingers and got the chair back to put the jar back where she had found it. Once she did that, she hopped down from the chair. She put that back up where she got it, and then walked back to where Asmodeus was. "Anything else?" she asked, turning her attention back out the window.
