Mr. Shue smiled kindly to Amber. "It's okay. We can teach you. It looks like you really want to join Glee club," he said, gesturing at her camera, "And well, if you end up not liking it, you can just leave?"
Lynn stood up, "Well, Mr. Foreman, for your information, I'm practically an adult who is very adept in making her own decisions." She swung her bag over her shoulder, narrowing her eyes. "I hope you live happily with your fiancee. You wouldn't want me to spill the beans that you were having sex with some child while you were dating her, now would you?" Lynn left with dignity. Or so, it seemed. The moment Lynn turned the corner, she ran all the way to an empty classroom to cry. She turned on her iPod. Lynn wondered why she always ended up like this; dumped and used.

"Thanks Mr. Schuester," Amber answered smiling slightly. "But, can I think about it?" There were definitely things she needed to think about before joining Glee Club. Though, it was mainly her fear of the jocks and Cheerios. She knew they weren't all super-bad, but there was just something that made her shiver. But, watching the Glee Club always got her inspired, that's why she took pictures, maybe sacrificing her comfort for inspiration was the way to go, yeah.
Mr.Schue left due to some deal outside with Mike and some chick. Jay peered over from his seat. Oh, the creepy camera girl, though she wasn't that creepy looking though. Finally Mr. Schue came back to close the darn meeting already. Everyone headed out, Jay, of course, went to his locker which was in the weirdest place ever. He came to a halt as he started down the hall where his locker was. Singing? Out of habit, Jay started hunting out this voice. It was pretty good and it wasn't anyone's he knew. Finding it at last, Jay entered silently to listen. When the song on her iPod ended, he couldn't help but clap.

"Sure, Amber. Come back anytime," Mr. Shue smiled, leading Mike back in. "Sorry...I thought she was a spy," Mike told Mr. Shue. Mr. Shue smiled and got back to the club. Mike couldn't help turning around to see Amber walking away.
Lynn jumped from her spot on the floor in the corner. She turned around wiping her face and collecting her things. "I'm sorry. I'll be going," she said quickly, thinking it was the janitor until she looked up and froze. Jay Seong. One of the heartthrobs of McKinely High. She turned her face away before heading straight through him, not looking up.

"Hey, wait up!" Jay called. He vaguely recognized this girl. She was the super smart kid of the school. Total nerd. But, what a voice! Okay, sure it wasn't good as Rachel's, but it was still really good. Glee needed people like this. Glee needed them so that this year they'd win Regionals. Right now, Jay devoted himself to Glee. The girl began to head away, only one thing left to do. "Join Glee!" He yelled down the hall.

Lynn's eyes widened as she broke into a sprint. What did he want? Did Jay Seong want homework help? Or just her homework? She didn't want him to see her weak. No one suppose to ever see her weak. Not once did Lynn ever show anyone tears or any other emotion but pride and dignity, not even to Greg. Lynn had put the face of a powerful and controlling girl, but in the end she didn't command Greg at all; she fell right into his trap and she felt stupid. Who cares if she got the highest marks. No one like her. Not even herself.

★ ғɑsт ғσʀωɑʀɗ ★Jay couldn't get that voice from his mind. She needed to join Glee Club. Luckily, his memory scratched the back of his head long enough for him to realize that she was, in fact, in one of his classes. Math class. Definitely he'll convince her to come to come to Glee Club today.
Amber rubbed her eyes as she went to her locker. She paused a few meters away from her destination. No locker for her yet. She turned around heading for the library instead. Normally she'd only not go to her locker if there was a crowd around it, but there was only one person. The person who had their locker beside hers. She actually never knew his locker was there. Actually, why was she even at school? She had a spare first...

Lynn opened her textbook and readied herself for class. Yesterday she couldn't quite remember what Jay Seong had yelled out to her. Did he say 'Glee Club'? She wasn't quite sure, but wasn't Glee club a singing and dancing thing? She couldn't possibly fit in with such performers.
Mike closed his locker and turned to see Amber's back going away. He followed her, trying to be subtle. Of course, he had class, but he wanted to apologize at least. He followed her into the library and watched her sit down after pulling out a couple of books. He peeped out from the corner of the bookshelf. "Um, hi," he said to her, "I just wanted to apologize for yesterday. I hope it doesn't affect your decision to join Glee club."

Jay entered class, luckily before all the other 'populars' did. 'Cause usually when they got there they'd send one to sit beside Miss smarty-pants. Casually, Jay sat down beside her taking out his own books. He looked over. "So... Will you be joining?" He asked, obviously he wasn't going to rest until she said yes.
"Oh!" Amber jumped, wide-eyed, slamming the book she just opened on her own hand. "Oww..." This was a truly surprising scenario because she just ran off from the lockers, yet she still seemed to manage to run into him... Ironic, no? "Uh-Umm... I-It-It's no problem... I-It's only r-right that you a-a-assumed I was spying..." Amber answered quietly her eyes darting once more and subtle fidgeting present again.

Lynn raised an eyebrow, resting her cheek on her hand that was propped up. "Um, excuse me? Join what?" she replied, turning to her neighbour. She froze again. Jay Seong. Again. She took a sharp intake of breath, hoping he would not remember yesterday.
Mike tried to suppress his laughter. She was so nervous! He had never met anyone like that. He always thought a shy girl was just something out of a book. "Well. I hope you join Glee club," Mike gave her a smile, "You like books then? Wow! Do you read all those?"

"Glee Club, like I said yesterday," Jay answered smoothly with a smile. If he did get her to join, they would have a better chance at Regionals. Mr. Schue already said that they may be getting more opportunities to do some things too this year. "Oh yeah, my name's Jay by the way. Jay Seong."
"Err... yeah," she nodded slightly still looking down though. She couldn't understand why exactly he was even talking to her to begin with. Also, didn't he have class? Oh, yeah, the 'cool kids' skipped, so that was perfectly normal.

Lynn reverted her gaze away from him, staring at the board. "Oh. Glee club? I don't see myself performing," Lynn answered, then twirling her pencil nonchalantly, "I know you're Jay Seong. Who doesn't?"
"That's amazing! Uh, I think I should go now. I'm already late for class," Mike offered into the silence, "Hope to see you afterschool?" He smiled one last time and as he left he couldn't help but keep smiling thinking how adorable she was. Sure, some people would say he had strange taste, but it didn't matter to him.

"Uh, it means I'm Jay and who are you," he explained his reasoning behind introducing himself properly like so. "Hey, you gotta join Glee. You might not see yourself performing, but I'm sure it'd suit you. Glee needs people who can sing. People like you," Jay told her earnestly.
Amber nearly nodded her head and let out a relieved breath when he left. Holy gosh. She just talked with a jock. She took a deep breath. Never did she think in her years in high school that would happen. To be honest, though, she actually had goosebumps all over her. Seriously, the 'cooler kids' made her shiver. But, she knew for a fact Mike wasn't as mean as the others and his dancing was down right great! Maybe... Maybe she will join Glee Club. Like, what else did she have to lose, apart from not being invisible anymore?

Lynn clicked her tongue impatiently. "Well Jay Seong, I don't have time to join Glee club. You probably already know who I am," Lynn answered coldly, "I'll let you know now, I don't do anyone's homework."
Mike stared blankly at the board. He had no idea what Ms. Tileys was saying. Heck, he didn't even understand how he made it into a social class.

Jay frowned, a little annoyed. "I'm not asking for you to do anything for me. I'm just telling you that Glee Club would do really well if you were a part of it too. We really need to win Regionals this year," he explained slowly as he thought about it. He didn't know how to really put it, and it seemed like she didn't quite understand his words entirely. Kind of like she didn't want to talk to him at all. Figures. "Okay fine. How's this? Just forget who I am for a moment. I, as a complete stranger, think you sing pretty well and Glee Club could really use more vocalists. So, please come to our meeting after school today. Just try it out and if you don't like it you can quit."

Lynn's cold mask dropped for a few moments as happiness swelled in her chest. He thought she sang good? "Do I - " she began as her normal self, then reverted back to her arrogant self, "Well, if you need me that much, I guess I can help. We'll see then."
