Messages had been sent out, and careful preparations had been made. Shehk had assumed she hadn't asked too much of any of the girls, having made sure to pick a time and date where nobody would have to report to the locker-room when it was the morning, opting to wait, instead, until after class to lure people to their doom their future within the club.
Shehk was in the FEARleader's locker room at the time she'd slated on the message that she and Naja had tried to divvy out to everybody who had filled out one of the forms at practice. Why everybody?
Well, because it had been a rather good seeming group and while she could tell some would probably be needing some work on something-or-other (she could think of a few minor examples), it would just be easier to fix the problems then try to find students who were already 'perfect' at things, more or less. Besides, with her new goal of utterly distracting the other team she'd discovered had practice at the same time as they did, a group of lovely girls would be plenty!
Either way, Shehk had made a point of being there so that she could answer any questions, sitting on a table that had several small pieces of paper on it, though not big enough to actually be any sort of questionaire... then again, if one looked at the lockers, there was a small slab on the front of them that it could possibly be slipped in to. There was also an assortment of colored pens.
Name tags, perhaps? If one looked at locker #....s**t, you couldn't even read that number, but it certainly had Shehk's name on it, the inside left open so the girls could peek in to see how the spacing was set up. Which was pretty basic: Two uniforms, and a clothing-cover to put over them in case of bad-weather, along with some basic braces (One for each limb), a small First-Aid kit, and some other more personal hygienic stuff (because nobody liked to be near the sweaty-kid at school). There was also a can of air-freshener, though that was probably half-a-favor for everybody and half-a-habit of Shehk's.
There was also a...minimum of decorative stuff to be had as well, but it was mostly post-its with notes to herself on it (though there was a particularly odd one that said 'WRYYYYYY' on it).
In the so-far unclaimed lockers, there was a lock, a piece of paper with a combination written on it, and a CD. Hmm.
It seemed soon enough Shehk would explain.
"Hello, ghouls. If you're here because of our message, then you're here to claim a locker." the Pricolici gestured with a hand. "You're free to take any locker that hasn't already been claimed; those are probably locked for a reason. Make sure to take note of your combination because we won't have it and if you lock yourself out of your stuff, it won't be fun to try and get back in.'
"Also, remember to lock your lockers. The gnomes like to mess with people's stuff and it can really be unpleasant when they do so during a game and you come back to wonder where your pants are. It's also not fun to try and have to get them back when you see them running around with them on their heads three days later......" she trailed off, not really implicating which of the four current FEARleaders had suffered this, but none the less, it was a hilarious mental image for all involved.
"All I need for you to do today is take a note of where everything is.." Such as the bulletin board which apparently was kept anew with updates of what routines were being worked on, as well as when games were. There was also a list of contact information, which Shehk or Naja had written up based on the forms the girls had given them. There was also a calendar of practice times, along with some other various things written in on it, denoting that there would probably be a few times that Naja and Shehk would ask the girls to be there OUT of their uniforms for some sort of inquiry. There was also a list of rules, but it wasn't too overbearing.
That's what the captains were there for.
"I will also be needing uniform sizes for everybody so that we can acquire those for everybody."
Shehk rose up from the table, walking over to her locker and giving it a glance over, as though trying to make sure she hadn't left like...incriminating evidence of something or other. But once she was sure of that.
"If anybody has any questions, let me know. By the next time we meet as a group, Naja and I will have written up some sort of schedule for what we have planned over the next month. We'll answer questions about group-plans when we give out those."
((Just post here if your girl is STILL INTERESTED in joining and have her claim a locker. This isn't a full-blown RP, but feel free to continue any meetings from it outside of this thread. ))

Shehk had gone over the basics, and really Naja didn’t have a lot to add. There were a few key points that needed to be addressed, and she stepped away from her locker to do so. “Okay, ghoulsss. Here iss the ssschedule." She handed a pile of schedules out, checking to see that everyone got one. "I expect to sssee you for practice every day, without fail. We have Ssspookday off, but every other day, you will be expected to sshow up, and be ready to go over whatever drillss we have for you. Underssstood?” Naja had even gone to the trouble of printing a few extras just in case.
“We’re new to thisss, too, sso it will be a learning processss. If you have ssuggestionsss, pleasse come to one of usss to pressent them. I know that sssome of you have passt experience, sso there isss that.” She didn’t like offering them the opportunity to tell them how to do their job, but if she didn’t, they might miss out on a gold mine of information that they could scarcely afford to overlook because of a little pride. No, this was for the best. “If you come up with a cheer, that’ss great. We’ll expect you to come forward with any of your favorite routiness, too.”
It was not like she wasn’t willing to listen, after all. It was just that, well, she didn’t want to waste her time with trivial things. She would, because it was her job, but they had important things to do. Things like becoming the best team out there. “We’ll be meeting up for team building activitiesss, too. We haven’t decided on a day, yet, but it would be good if we put sssome time assside every week to ssspend time together outssside of practice. I wasss thinking maybe Frightday evening? Or Sspiderday.”
Something like those movie nights. “The club needsss funding. We’ve been tossssing around the idea of a bake sssale. Sssomething to get pumpkin sseedsss coming in, yesss?” She was going through a list that she had prepared in advance, and she held the eyes of her audience as she spoke, though it was unlikely that they could tell through the heavy sunglasses she wore. “Boasss and ghoulss like sssweets, after all. But maybe we could put together a calendar, and sssell that, too?” Something better than school pictures.
“Sssince you made the team, you may wear your uniform outssside of practice. You’ve earned the right. I’m sssure that ssome of you will enjoy the opportunity. It’sss not mandatory.” Naja did tend to wear hers, though some days she felt like showing some individuality, and chose to put off the uniform. “Sssomething elsse. I’m sssure that you know that assss a ssquad we’re going to have to build a reputation, yess? Don’t do anything to tarnisssh our name while you’re wearing your uniform. Outsside of it, Fearioss, you are free to do what you like—jussst sso long assss you keep it under wrapss. Got it?”
It wasn’t that she expected them to make fools of her and Shehk, really. She doubted that they were the kind of girls to get up to that nonsense. If they were… well, they would regret it real fast. She had no patience for that kind of thing, and she was ready to show them what a pissed off gorgon looked like. No one, no one on her team was going to make fools of them. There were perks to being Fearleaders, perks that she hoped that they appreciated. They were now among the ‘popular’ crowd, more or less, by virtue of being Fearleaders. The Bloodball team would notice them. That had to be worth something.
Would it be enough to keep them in line? It had better be. Naja paused, and examined her nails for a moment, checking to see that they were all nicely sharpened like the claws they resembled. “Oh, and another thing. We have a table we sssit at at meal timesss. You are welcome to sssit with usss, to show solidarity. We’re a team, ssso it’ss expected.” She glanced up, and smiled at the girls faintly. Nag hissed reproachfully as she crossed her arms over her chest, and wriggled out so that he could glare at the ghouls. Not a single boa had shown up for try-outs! Poor Thackery was still the only boa on the team.
Then again, maybe he liked it that way. All those ghouls, and no one else on the team to compete with him for attention from them? It wasn’t a bad setup, not at all. Of course, considering that Tack was kitsune obsessed, she doubted that he paid much notice to any of the non-kitsune girls, and as far as she knew there weren’t any on the team. Anyway, that was neither here nor there. With a nearly all ghoul team, they would be in pretty good shape. The only downside was that they wouldn’t have the boas for lifts, and such. Bah. Like it mattered.
“Congratulationss, ghoulsss. You’re Fearleaderss, now. Any questions?”

The contented scream had probably been mistaken for something else, whoever heard it though knew that some ghoul was VERY VERY happy. Sin of course had been the screamer as soon as she got the message, she had taken a moment to leap in the air before re-composing herself. Really there wasn't much that topped her desire to be on the Fearleading squad. She had shown up promptly on time desperate to make sure she had actually made the team. It seemed that despite her rubbing the captains the wrong was they had seen she was serious about the team. Now it was imperative that she show them she was a team player as well. She took a deep breath as she arrived and reminded herself for the hundredth time not to give Shehk anymore reasons to dislike her. Maybe in time they could forget their bumpy start and actually be friends...maybe. Naja was a tough cookie, no-nonsense and clearly proud of the team. Sin was probably going to look to her for the more technical aspects of splits, leaps, and tricks.
She listened to them both speak and then quickly moved to claim a locker for herself. Making sure she could remember her combination she finally turned back to Naja and tilted her head. "What about a hearse wash? All of us could get together and make a good time of it, charge per wash. I'm sure that would earn the team some seeds."
She glanced at Shehk and almost dared to ask if Nuk had ever seen her in a bikini, oh he'd probably pay big for that. Instead she reminded herself again that she was not going to irk Shehk and kept her lips sealed.

There was a certain elated air about Kasumi that afternoon, finding out she'd made the FEARleading squad made her walk on air (well, metaphorically speaking since she pretty much did walk on air all the time anyway). After winning a Student Council position, she was thrilled to assist the Fearios with every ounce of ability she had. She wandered into the locker room during Shehk and Naja's explanation (taking note to get there as quickly as her ghostly limbs would allow) and sat quietly and listening intently. She made a mental list of things to acquire - first aid kit (for others, of course), braces (again, for others) and a uniform size. What size was she when solid? She'd have to figure that out. When the time came, the ghost stood and pondered locker positions before finally deciding on one. She slipped the piece of paper with her combination into her pocket and thanked the Lost and Found Bin for pants that contained pockets in the first place. Whew!
Opening the locker, Kasumi inspected the contents and noted excellent positions for notepads, perhaps a mirror and some lovely decorations... Speaking of, Naja had mentioned a fundraising idea for the team. Yes, they'd need pumpkin seeds, and Kasumi had a few ideas herself. When she felt it appropriate, the ghost approached the gorgon captain with her idea.
She was incredibly formal, as Naja was a step above her in the team. "Miss Captain Naja, if I may... I have an idea for a fundraising campaign for the team?" When Naja looked to be listening (and wasn't bothered by Kasumi's approached), she continued. "I made dolls for my campaign for Student Council. I don't know if you've seen them, but they seemed popular enough. Collectable, even. Students seem to like things that are collectable, so perhaps we could make trading cards? Or I could make more plush toys if you see fit."

Morrigan wasn't sure she trusted the situation. It seemed easy, too easy. Of course, there hadn't been a lot of girls trying out and the squad could just be desperate. She was sure she could handle whatever was thrown her way. She was fit and limber, not to mention sexy. She wasn't one to gloat usually.. too much, but she knew she looked good and that was a good part of being a cheerleader. All she'd have to do is learn the moves, the dances, and all that and she knew she could do it. She knew what she was capable of or not.
She was not so sure of some of the other new Fearleaders. So yeah, she was pretty surprised. She was also surprised that Sin Err made the squad. She was glad to have a friend on board but she though Sin was a goner after insulting the Captain and co-captain like that.
After she claimed a locker for herself, she rejoined the other girls. "We could sell black roses and dead posies, etc. Even deliver them to the those receiving them. We can give a secret admirer option or add some candy to it for an small extra fee," she offered.

Rain was a Fearleader and Student Council President! She was a little worried about being able to juggle all the responsibility but she could at least try, right? Of course, if she made the track team, that would be hard as well, especially with her Casketball duties but she was not one to quit. She could do it all! Right? Maybe she could even keep her band going after the battle of the bands as well.
She chose the locker that looked the oldest and dirtiest. She liked to pick things that wouldn't get as much love or attention as others. They were often underestimated but in this case, the locker was in pretty bad condition. Oh well, it would do. She patted the locker as if telling it that it would be okay and pounced back to join the other girls.
"I like the idea of a bake sale," she admitted but she liked eating so it was pretty biased. She wasn't fond of wearing a bikini or bathing suit. She was pretty self conscious about her body but she didn't want to speak up about it. She would be a team player regardless of what they had to do. "We could have a mini pet show. Have a small fee to watch, nothing that would be too much on the guests. We can offer snacks and beverages for it. The profit could be split up in a way that a small prize pot could be awarded to the winner and the rest donated to Fearleading needs. Students interested could submit a favorite minipet, groom them, dress them up, etc. Might be fun?" The more she thought of her idea though, the sillier it seemed.

Shehk posted up a new notice in the FEARleaders locker room, on the brightest most obnoxious color of paper she could: Neon pink. If anybody missed it, it wasn't her fault. It read the same as several fliers she had posted up in the school building as well.THE NOTICE Alright Ghouls and Boils, we're going to have an activity this next week. Instead of practice on Moonday, we'll be meeting in the cafeteria kitchen right after school! Be there! Bring any friends interested in joining the FEARleaders as well, as we'll be talking about new joinees, what we're planning for next year, as well as some new policies. What we're doing will be related to what we're doing for the School's Open House, so please be there! Thanks! --Shehk and Sin Sounded like fun, right? Or at least like a good break from practice.

A new paper has gone up at the FEARleader's Locker Room! GASP! What is it? THE PAPER Interested in joining the FEARleading Squad? This year we'll be doing things a bit different. We'll be allowing all ghouls (and boils!) to join! However, if we feel like you're slacking, we'll cut you! This is so you can prove yourself in a better setting than being the best at the beginning! Also, be prepared for me to whip your butts. There will be a mandatory meeting! Please sign your name so we can know to expect you! If you were a FEARleader last year, we'll be expecting you! [NOTE: Feel free to post signing up in this thread! Hooray!]

Bea couldn't help but notice this annoyingly eyesore of pink paper. "FEARleading?" she was interested. Perhaps she'll find something interesting to talk about. What better things to conjure juicy gossip than pretty, energetic, and sassy ghouls? This is perfect... THE PAPER Interested in joining the FEARleading Squad? Sin was naturally there to sign back up for FEARleading though by now her obvious enjoyment and dedication to the activity was probably obvious. She had even come to actually like and respect Shehk...which was hard for her what with the captain being an undead. Still Shehk knew how to play up their strengths, she was good and Sin appreciated that she didn't expect anymore from them then what she herself could offer.
Sin Err
She signed her name with a flourish and then decided to hang around a bit curious to see what other ghouls and what types of boils would be signing up.

Junko had become interested in FEARleading while talking to Shehk during Open House, especially when she saw the absolutely adorable Spiderpoms. They were a big winning factor in all this. That and she loved Shehk, and would love a chance to hang out with her more. Plus FEARleading looked so fun! And so she smiled, signing her name just after Beatrix's and Sin's.
