Lyre looked to them all wondering what a bunch of kids were doing with the lightning storm coming. She could feel the storm they had just been in and knew it wasn't going to be pleasant. "You kids should go within the next twenty minutes or so. The storm is going to turn bad." She said after a moment. She felt Tamera somewhat clinging to her arm and turned to her friend.
Tamera looked to them hearing Lyra speak. She noticed the piece on one of them and held her friend's arm as she whispered. "Lyra we should go. One is armed. I don't know about you, but even with your little freakishness, I'm not getting mixed up with kids who have weapons."
She turned back to them thinking a moment noticing something off with the wind around them and shrugged. She looked to the sky for a moment making sure her time estimate was right before looking back. "It will be fine Tamera. Lets go home and get out of this weather." She said at last leading her friend away. She felt strange around them like she wanted to stay but didn't at the same time.

Atlan let out timed shrieks, his golden eyes darting from figure to figure. Kyte glanced at the bird with unease, flexing his fingers.
I suppose I have no other choice at the moment. Hopefully the glamor created by the scroll will work.
It was simple at first, a slight tingle that ran down his back. It froze at the bottom of his spine, the 'feeling' starting to sink through his spine and into the rest of his body. A flush of pain ran through him, and Kyte gritted his teeth, as it leisurely began to pour forth out of him. The pain curled around his limbs, growing horrible until it reached a breaking point, at which that moment it burst inside, causing his body to contort and shift in the blink of an eye.
Atlan took to the air, soaring overhead as his master finished the Change. Deep red eyes settled on the two girls, scales glimmering as dark as midnight.
See you later, kid. He whispered in thought, even though he knew they couldn't hear him. It was a fact learned by trial and error.
(I don't know about you guys, but I assumed that the Change was probably different for everybody, and because his was solely darkness, it brought pain to him.)

Saffron swallowed, her hands clenching the material of her skirt in her hands. She stared after the boy, finally sighing as she ran forward.
Taking risk had never been something she was good at, but considering that she didn't have much choice if she was going to keep up, it seemed like a pretty good idea.
Saffron closed her eyes, not bothering to plug her nose or ears as she fell face-forward into the swimming pool. Water enveloped her with a loving embrace, the molecules shifting and seeming to pull at her. Saffron reached her hand forward, curling her fingers inward, beckoning a tide to form. It responded with eager cooperation, flowing toward her with an increasing strength.
Changing had always been the oddest thing for her, but doing it in water seemed almost...natural. It was almost as though fingers caressed her skin, the element clinging to her every movement. Overwhelming cold rushed through her body, causing Saffron to clench her hands involuntarily. It pooled at her heart, pausing only temporarily before exploding.
The water had formed a funnel around her, pulsing with kinectic energy - energy just waiting to be used.
In a sudden burst, it propelled her through the surface like a rocket launcher, and Saffron tucked her wings taught against her sides as she blurred through the atmosphere.
C'mon!
She knew that Alice would hear her, and though the girl would probably complain, in no time she would be right there. A dark speck was just glinting from in the distance.
(Alright, so only Dragons can speak with each other mentally in that form. That's probably why Tamera couldn't hear Lyra. So, have fun with that one.)

Alice began running toward the pool. She could already feel the warm, sweet call of earth reaching out to her, wishing for a command. The feeling began to grow and envelope her, and she had only but to give in to it. Just before she hit the water the warmth took hold of her form, shifting and pulling in an embrace of freedom. Her thin, green body swirled gracefully up, the last rays of sun glinting against her golden 'highlights' before disappearing behind the angry grey clouds filling the sky. She followed after Saffron, and probably would've been complaining any other time about the short notice, but today she was too happy being free to care.

Tamera stared at the three in amazement as they left the pool then turned back towards her friend with a broad smile. "Lyra, they're, They're just like you!" She could feel her excitement growing finally finding proof her friend was not alone though her friend's pause troubled her some. "Lyra, come on you gotta go with them. You may never have this chance, and besides you've been doing this for years, maybe you all could teach each other?"
Lyra watched the group feeling surprised to see them change, but not at the same time. Her mind remained calm debating if she should join them. She noticed her friend's excitement and sighed. "They're just kids though. I know nothing of them, and they, nothing of me."
Tamera punched Lyra's arm lightly at her friend's comment. "Are you really going to revert to grade school shyness with this? Seriously? Go get your but up there already!" She said pushing her friend towards the way they had gone. "Have fun and tell me all about it."
Lyra sighed knowing if she didn't go, she'd never hear the end of it. She stepped away hating how she may end up ruining more clothes before feeling the wind around her. Soon her form began contorting to its shape, it hurt but not as much since she had grown use to the pain. Once finished she nodded towards her friend before letting the wind current lift her and guide her fast towards the others. She would let her speed slow as she got closer still keeping watch in case of anything she wouldn't agree with, but would also remain silent, despite hearing the boy.

Kyte disappeared behind the clouds, Atlan close behind. Since he was a falcon, speed tended to not be much of a problem. It was only after a minute that he realized two shapes were hovering close behind, and realization dawned on him.
He wasn't very surprised at this discovery, considering that he had been researching his heritage for as long as he could remember. Finding scrolls and old artifacts, pieces of information supposedly 'lost' was completely fascinating. And he had succeeded easily.
Kyte let out an irritated growl, diving for the distance. Just ahead, a forest could be spotted. Losing them should prove easy.

Alice saw the shiny black dragon adjust, headed straight for a nearby forset. She barked out the equivalent of a laugh. Trying to lose them, eh? well, the forest couldn't be a worse place. She could already feel the leaves tickling her as she rushed by. Yes, this would be fun.

Saffron pulled her wings in close, causing her movements to become clipped. The wind blew past her, curling around her body as she dove after the black dragon.
Trees rushed by in a blur, and it was only after she spread her wings, swooping in to land on the forest floor, that she realized that the black dragon was no where in sight.
Saffron was silent, golden eyes searching as her talons gripped the pine on the ground. She was oblivious to the fact that right about then, a pair of bright red eyes were watching.

Lyra followed the group though would stay above the trees as the dark dragon and others went in. She felt more comfortable with the wind around her, listening to the movements and sounds carried with it. She would smile letting the wind tell her where each was as it passed by. She turned looking towards the white dragon's area and narrowed her gaze sensing it's pause. She would stay hovering the trees though just in case. She was sure she was older then all of them from what it seemed at the pool, as such she would at least watch over and help protect them should they need it. 'Perhaps I should have brought Tamera, she would have enjoyed this.' She thought to herself still debating if she should have or not.

Alice saw Saffron stop, but she kept right on. The feel of the cool green surroundings were too much of a draw. Rain pelted down, hitting the brown forest floor with a repeated tap tap plunk plunk pattern, and water streamed off her body as she flew. She had stopped caring about the boy at this point. Let him do as he pleased. He's a darkness dragon. She thought to Saffron. There's no other option with his coloring. The boy could probably hear her, but again, she didn't care. He was just another teenaged boy. The only difference was this one was slightly less than deathly dull.

Kyte was silent, absorbing the shadows that danced off of the forest floor. Every rain drop had a shadow as it landed, and he absorbed each and every one. It was only after the white dragon passed under the light, causing her shadow to glint in front of him, that he acted.
Kyte darted out, his talons successfully coming down to land on her shadow. He gripped it tightly in his paw, red eyes glaring at her form scornfully. Her shadow was held firmly, and because of this, her body was now paralyzed. She could not part with her shadow, nor it with her.
You are a weak one. He mused.

Saffron let out a mental gasp, her limbs freezing in place. Her golden eyes darted to the black dragon, narrowing accusingly. His words echoed through her mind.
You are a bad judge of character, Dark.
Rain glimmered off her scales, shimmering like a coat of jewels. Saffron was careful, focusing. The ground under them was completely wet, and she was glad. In the next instant, ice crept from under her talons, creating a solid surface under him. It crept over his scales, following the wet surface like connect-the-dots.
The dragon let out a growl of irritation, and now they were both paralyzed. His talon was frozen to her shadow, and he was frozen to the ground.
Damn it. He growled.
((So far, Saffron and Alice ran into Kyte at an abandoned pool. He took off, and they both followed him. He flew into a forest, hoping to lose them, and instead they followed him in there. Meanwhile, Lyra is hovering over the trees watching.))

'Children' She said to herself watching them below. She felt the wind and let it flow slightly around her. She debated helping the white and dark dragon but wanted to see what else they would do before. She had to stay impartial to their games knowing how risky showing their true forms could be. She glanced over towards the green dragon as it simply continued about the trees before turning back to the two below her. The wind sounding to her their movements. She would hover a bit more keeping watch of what each was doing specifically and took a guess of each's individual strengths. Like her each seemed to have an element. Why had she never heard of this before? And why was it happening to all of them. She viewed few things in life as a coincidence and knew all meeting as such was too much not to be one. She listened with her mind hearing voices and recognized them from the pool. 'So, we can talk in this manner. Interesting.' She thought to herself once more. She had quite a few things to relay to Tamera once she would return.

Kisha soared through the sky in search for her cousin Saffron.
Where in the hell is she?
She dived down and changed to her human form as she landed. Kisha left her keen senses alert for sight smell and sounds. She heard her cousins heart beat and walked in the direction it was coming from. Soon she spotted Saffron's gleaming scales and stepped from behind the brush.
"What's going on?" She asked when she say Kyte.
