Daniela stretched when she got of the car. It felt good to stretch her legs. Her eyes were burning as well but for a different reason. Reading all those pages had really put a strain on her eyes.
Colorado seemed so far away. Daniela would have suggested flying but she knew Dean hated to fly. She had recalled a story Sam had told her once when they were forced to fly in the air to kill a demon. Sam had always promised to call her whenever he got the change. Usually, he would call every few weeks. When he didn't call her this time around, she knew something had to be keeping him. She just didn't realize it was Calcifer.
Daniela walked into the diner and was greeted by the seating hostess. "How many?" The girl asked.
"Two, please." Daniela told her and she followed the waitress to their table. She was handed a menu and but couldn't help herself but to look around the diner. Everyone in the diner had a story and she knew most of them. Some people she couldn't read because they were closed off from the world so much not even a physic, like herself, could get a reading. All the readings were the same. Affairs, love, baby, marriage. It was always the same.
Daniela moved her eyes to the menu and decided to try and stay out of everyone's life though it was hard. They all seemed to scream at her for help. That and it was still a great way to get paid but only when asked.

Dean Winchester Dean followed Daniela into the diner and sat across from her. He took his menu from the waitress with a murmered thank you, and opened it up. Looking around at the people in the small diner, he arched an eyebrow... They were all so very normal, it was rather well, sad actually... He sighed and looked back at the menu, within moments, he'd decided and set the menu aside, rubbing the bridge of his nose with two fingers, his eyes drifted closed, he had a massive headache, most likely brought on by stress and the constant glare of driving...
The waitress bustled to and fro before finally circling back around to them, obviously not thrilled by the outsiders in the town. He put in his order and then looked across at Daniela, waiting on her.

The waitress asked Daniela for her order and closed her menu. Her aura was practically screaming. The waitress was having a hard night and was worried about the new babysitter at home with her child. Daniela knew there was nothing to worry about, though, her neighbor was another story.
The waitress took her order and left to give it to the chef. Daniela looked at Dean and could tell that he needed something else to think about. "So," she asked as she sat back, "what did you do with my medallion that you took?"
Her family medallion had been passed from gypsy to gypsy and from child to child in her family. It had possessed great power and could use for almost any situation. Not to mention, it was the last thing her mother had given to her before she died. It had a lot of value to it. Calcifer would have done anything just to have it.

Dean Winchester Dean chuckled softly and leaned back in the seat "As a matter of fact, it doesn't exist anymore.. It was destroyed when it was used against Sam...Well, someone attempted to use it against him, it didn't work, and it blew to pieces..." Dean remembered the fallen expression on Sam's face when he'd watched the medallion shatter to what seemed like a zillion pieces... He sighed and shook his head, remembering his own devistation. "We didn't mean for it to be destroyed, and as a matter of fact, we were going to be returning it to you the next time we came through..." he reached into the messenger bag he had brought in, and pulled out a midnight blue box "But, since it was destroyed, we tracked down some people and found this. I know it doesn't have the same personal value as the original medallion you had... But it's something..." he shrugged and slid the box across the table to her

If they weren't in a public diner, she would have killed him instantly. But, alas, too many witnesses. Her mother's medallion was no longer apart of this world. It had been destroyed as foretold by her great-grandmother. She didn't think it would happen while in her possession.
However, when he slid the small blue box across the table she couldn't help herself but look. She opened the lid and marveled at the jewel in the center. It was a soft blue aura that only she could see. To anyone else, it was just another necklace. Her fingers traced the outline of the small jewel and she could feel it's power. Now this she could use.
"It's perfect." She smiled. Daniela understood that whatever power rested in the medallion was very powerful and could easily, if used right, could take out Calcifer. Now if only she knew how to do that.
"But I agree, if won't replace my mother's family medallion that was paced down from generation to generation but it will do." She placed the medallion around her neck and smiled at it's warmth. It's feeling resembled the feeling she had when she wore her mother's medallion. "Do you-" Daniela froze as someone walked into the diner. Their aura was different. It wasn't human and she knew it was hungry. Daniela slowly hid her head out of view from the demon's point of view.
"Don't look now," she said as she lowered her voice, "but something is off about that guy that just walked in. I don't think he's human and I don't think he's friendly. My twelve your six."

Dean Winchester Dean knew he felt horrible for losing her mother's medallion and watched the anger flashing in her eyes. He sighed softly as she opened the box and traced her fingers across the necklace inside. He nodded at her words of "perfect" and then sobered as she froze in bid sentence. He felt a pringling as she spoke and slid his hand across the table, laying it over hers and pushing, effectively closing the box underneath it, he didn't care what had walked into the diner, but it didn't need to see something like the necklace in the box. That much he knew... He arched one eyebrow and turned, digging through his bag, pretending to search for something as he glanced at the man that had walked in. She was right, he definately wasn't human, and something was up, he was like a burning fuse, he could blow any moment...
Dean sighed and turned back to Daniela "Do we need to leave right now, or can we wait until we finish our food and follow? It'd look suspicious to leave now, no human would notice the latent anger and waiting pounce inside it." his voice was low, barely carrying across the table between them

Daniela shook her head. "No, he hasn't done anything yet or given any sign. Let's just wait. Eat our food and then see what he does. Either way we're not leaving this town until he's finished." She knew she had to watch him but she couldn't make it that obvious. They had one weapon and that was in Dean's bag. Of course, she had her own power but she didn't even know what kind of demon it was.
"Please tell me you have Ruby's knife in that bag." She said low enough for only him to hear. Sam had informed her about the knife they had gotten from Ruby. The one knife that would kill any demon possessing a body and this was certainly that kind of situation. The waitress brought their food and Daniela thanked her with a smile before beginning to chow down. "Just act natural. So far he's not doing anything."
And she was right. The demon had only flirted with the waitress a little and ordered some food but not even that made sense. Demon's hardly came in and ordered food. Daniela tried to get a reading on him without looking at the demon but that's all she could read. The fact that he was a demon possessing a man. "This doesn't make any sense. Why would he just walk right in here and order food? Something's up."

Dean Winchester Dean looked over at Daniela with a rather annoyed expression "Daniela love, since when do I go anywhere unarmed?" he grinned at her and then started eating his burger, his entire body looked tense to someone that knew him, but normal to an outsider. He dipped his fries in the ketchup on his plate and continued eating, taking an occasional sip of his soda. He could see the demon's table in the windows behind Daniela, and there was nothing untoward happening, yet...

Daniela was relieved to know that he had the knife. This demon was no problem if it permitted. They would have to face him sooner or later.
As Dean dug into his food, Daniela stopped eating. She had forgotten how much an animal Dean could be when he ate. Sam, on the other hand, had more manners as she recalled.
I think I'm going to be sick. She thought to herself but continued to eat her food anyway. It was best they both eat. They needed the energy for the demon killing and the long road trip ahead. Finally, she couldn't take his eating habits anymore.
"Must you eat like an animal?" Daniela asked before sipping her drink. "I feel like I should take you outside and take you for a walk or something." Through my peripheral, I glanced over at the demon. He had looked over at us but began to eat his food the way a regular human would. Well, a regular human with manners. Daniela knew he was aware of their existence. His aura had changed the second he had looked over. Now, it clearly was a matter of time before they would have to fight him.

Dean Winchester Dean made a face at Daniela and set his burger down, wiping off his mouth, he felt like he was being stared at and didn't like the feeling, reaching across the table, he tucked a stray strand of hair behind Daniela's ear "Play along some, but he knows we're on to him doesn't he?" he asked at a whisper, arching one eyebrow as he continued to eat, more relaxed this time. The settled quiet that sank in before a hunt was coming around, shutting down all unnecessary emotions

Daniela put on a smile as he placed some hair behind her ear. It was just an act for the demon and everyone else but she knew the demon wasn't buying their act. He could, as she could, sense everything and everyone around them. Daniela didn't understand how she knew but she did.
They finished their meal and paid for their food. The demon had finished his own and walked out of the cafe. "Let's do this." She informed Dean and headed out. However, when she walked out of the diner she couldn't see the demon. He had disappeared the way any demon would.
"Looking for me?" A voice called behind her. The demon folded his arms and didn't look very happy. "When Calcifer asked me to watch you, I didn't think you would catch on so quickly. Not to mention, I had to eat human food." My heart skipped a beat as he mentioned Calcifer's name. The demon disappeared and then reappeared behind me. "You have a job to do, Daniela." I turned and faced the demon again. "Make sure you do it."
Daniela was confused now more than ever. The demon disappeared but this time he didn't reappear. A sharp pain surged through her head. She clutched her head and knelt to the ground. An image of a girl flashed through her mind. She was scared and trying to hide in a closet but Daniela knew it wasn't a good hiding spot. The image faded and the pain ceased. Daniela stood back up and looked to Dean. "We need to go. Now, a girl's in trouble."

Dean Winchester Dean followed Daniela out of the diner and barely missed the demon as he vanished. Dean ran over as Daniela fell to the ground, one of her visions, he assumed. When she stood and spoke, he nodded and headed to the car, unlocking the doors so she could get in "Tell me where to go."

"South Weston Street. It's not too far from here. Just hurry and be prepared to turn." She informed him. A few times she told him left where as other times she told him right. Daniela wasn't sure how she knew how to get to this little girl's house but she knew they were close. "Right here!" She finally screamed but she didn't get out of the car.
"Wait," she informed him. Daniela tried to get another sense of the house. Whatever was in there was not good. It was a very upset spirit. They had to find the body and torch it. Seconds later, a woman ran out of her house. Her hair was messed up and her gown was torn at the ends. She was gripping the hand of a small boy but didn't see the little girl. Daniela jumped out of the car and ran to them.
"Please! It's my daughter! I can't get her out of the closet!" Daniela turned to Dean.
"Dean, it's a spirit! Grab the gun. I'll stay with them. Go get the little girl. Up the stairs second door on the left! GO!" She screamed and turned back to the woman. "It's going to be alright." She tried to sooth but the woman looked confused.
"How do you know that?" The woman asked. The scared boy looked up at Daniela. He, too, awaiting an answer.
"It's a long story. Trust me."

Dean Winchester Dean groaned as Daniela all but screamed in his ear, rubbing at it with one finger, he watched as a woman ran out of the house. Daniela met her halfway just as Dean got out of the car. Suddenly Daniela was screaming again and he shook his head, opening the trunk, he grabbed what he needed, shut the trunk and ran into the house, ruffling the boys hair reassuringly along the way. He nodded to the woman as she looked at him and ran up the stairs of the house. He slowed as he reached the closet and took a deep breath, the closet opened and he looked down at the frightened little girl and knew immediately, something was wrong, he shouldn't have been able to open the door that easy... He heard a sound behind him and spun only to be thrown into a wall.
The spirit threw him against the wall over and over until it felt like the world was swimming and finally Dean growled and grabbed the gun and fired, the salt spreading around and through it. It growled and vanished. Dean stood and shook himself as he did. He went over to the girl and knelt before her with a faint grin "Hey little one, would you like to go see your mommy?" she nodded and put her arms out. Dean picked her up, slung the gun over one shoulder by it's strap and carried her outside to the woman. As he handed her over, he turned to Daniela "I can deter it, not rid them of it, can you do something more?"

The woman took her child and sighed with relief. "Thank you," the woman told them both. But Daniela knew this wasn't over. Their house wasn't safe at the moment. The spirit wasn't gone. It was angry but it wasn't gone.
"Did something happen in this house? Did someone die?" The woman thought back before answering.
"All I know was there was a death a few decades ago. A man was killed. I'm not sure where. Do you think it could have been him?" She asked. Daniela was sure of it. She ran back to the car and grabbed some salt and a light. Daniela turned to Dean.
"Come on, we have to find it." She walked inside and instantly could feel the presence of the spirit but had no idea where it was. The spirit was angry. He wanted everyone to leave his home but they couldn't do that. Daniela slowly walked through the home. The closer she got to the source of the ghost, the more pain she could feel. As she reached the stairs to the basement, she had to stop. A sharp pain surged through her mind. "The body's down there. I'm sure of it. Check under the floor boards."
