Alex laughed a bit as he looked at the expresion that Rosetta had made, -"Yes... Im Alex, the Lightning Dragon Slayer"-, he said as he heard what Master Mercer had said, -"Wait... first test, I thought that..."-, he was interrupted by the girl that had pulled back the Master when he was examaining Rosetta, "Master... this invitation came from the council, it appears that the masters of the guilds must go to a reunion", the girl said, "Thanks Reia, I almost forgot about that", Mercer said as he looked at Alex and Rosetta, "The reunions at the council demand that every guild master must take 2 bodyguards from his guilds, and since Snake, Raiden and the other S' class mages are out on quests, well... Im taking you both, consider this as your second test Rosetta", Mercer said as Alex face showed incredulity because he had never been choose for such a task...

She looked at Reia, she seemed pretty close to everyone in the guild. She turned to Mercer when she heard her name. A bodyguard? That was something she never would expect to do. Although it was her second test. So it was better she assumed. She had never heard of guild masters taking bodyguards with them. Since they were fairly strong. She grimaced at the thought, that there were s' class mages. She did a small nod "Ah okay." she looked over at Alex, who seemed in shock.

Alex finally nood as he saw Reia smiling at him, "Come on, I know you wanted to leave the guild, come on", Alex sighed and then looked at Rosetta, -"It will be fun... I suppose"-, he said as he walked into the building, "Rosetta, you can take a room here, we are leaving tomorrow", Mercer said as he alo walked back into his room, upstairs...

Then go off to find her own place. She watched as the Master walked upstairs. It seemed off-limits to certain people. S' Mages only? She assumed. She looked around, and plopped down on a seat where a bunch of other mages where sitting. She jolted up a bit, as she heard some female mages talking to her. "You're new right? You can stay over at the Fairy Tail dorms. It's girls only. the girls pointed to an area up in the hill, close to where Fairy Tail was. Rosette looked and smiled "Thanks. Although...I'll just stay there for a night. she politely said. The girls laughed and just nodded. "You don't need to be so polite, we are all like family here." the girls smiled then walked off, out of the building. Rosette smiled, there seemed to be a lot of good people here.

Alex looked at Rosetta and smiled, he just wanted her to be comftable here, after all, they were about to leave on a trip tomorrow and dont sleeping well had never prove to be a great help on arriving in good conditions. Reia walked near Alex and looked at his face, "Wow... you really are happy of her beeing here... does this mean after all you do have a heart?", she said, laughing a bit, -"Hey... thats not... I do have a heart but..."-, the young mage said as his face was a bit red like a tomatoe, "Hahaha... so you like her?", Reia asked as she now was poking his ribs, -"Im going to take a walk..."-, Alex said as he started to step back away from Reia, "Oh please... dont leave, mabye you can get another quest...", Reia said but Alex keep walking, he passed by the place were Rosetta was, he smiled to her and leave, tomorrow would be a very long day...

'Is this what you call a fateful encounter!? He's even a dragon slayer like me! she could feel steam coming from her face. She wondered, if like her. His dragon had left him too. She sighed, and thought it would be best if she would just rest. Besides she had a mission tomorrow. She stood up, and asked a few girls to help her to where the dorms where. They pointed and she thanked them. She walked out of the guild and made her way to get some rest.

The sun shinned all over Magnolia, all the people were doing their normal work but in the Fairy Tail guild a young boy was standing infront of the entrance, Alex looked over the place as he yawned, he didnt sleep well because one thought had appeared on his mind, that girl Rosetta, she was screaming but why?, he jumped when he felt someone touched his shoulder, "Hey... mabye Im old but not that scary", Master Mercer said as he laughed, Alex turned arround and was about to yell at him when he saw a great bag, Reia came from the back of it, "Its done Master Mercer, all the suplies you asked for are in that bag", she smiled as she looked at Alex, "Come on boy... carry the bag", Master Mercer said as he pointed at the bag, -"You have to be kidding me... I wont carry that"-, Alex said, "You want Rosetta to carry that bag?", Reia said, Alex instantly carried the bag and began walking, they were just waiting for Rosetta now...

She looked at the time, then she suddenly realized what she had forgotten. "GAH! I have mission!" she merely shouted. She quickly ran into the bathroom, did whatever she needed to do. Changed into her clothes, grabbed a small bag that clung to her waist belt and placed her whip their also. She ran out of her room, thanking the girls in the dorm. She ran while tying red ribbons in her hair. She tossed some money to a guy in a stand, and took a piece of some bread with chocolate filling. She ate it and looked as she saw them. She skidded to a stop, and slightly passed by them. She almost choked on her food. She took a big gulp of water from her water bottle and turned to them, with a big smile. "Good morning!!" she said cheerfully as she started to walk backwards.

Alex looked at the girl and smiled, -"Hi... I hope you are ready"-, he said as he looked at Master Mercer, "Hi Rosetta, we were about to leave the guild to the reunion", he said as he looked at Reia, "Take care of all of them", Reia nod and smiled, "Alex... take care of them and dont let Master Mercer get to close to any other female bodyguards", Alex laughed as he heard that, he then pointed to the horizont, -"Well.. reunion here we go"-, he said as he began walking to the north, "Boy... the reunion point is on the south", Master Mercer said as he looked down, "I still cant figure out how you managed to find the guild on the first place, you could get lost even if the way is straight ahead of you", Alex turned arround and began walking to the south, the invitation said that the point was from the guild about 3 or 4 days away, so they had to hurry if they wanted to get there on time...

That's one thing she knew about the Master. She looked as Alex was heading the wrong direction. "Good one." she laughed softly, as she followed after them. She looked at Master Mercer. "Ah....Master. So what exactly do Guild Masters do in a reunion?" she asked.

Alex blushed a bit as he heard Rosetta laugh, he keep walking, "I'll explain this now Rosetta, this reunions are made by the mage council so they can have reports about the progres and power of the guilds, these are messured by the develop of the quest they have achived, also by the rank of the mages that belong to the guild, in our case we only have 4 S' rank mages, they are Snake, Raiden, Zero and Vamp", Mercer said as they continued their way to the reunion. Alex laughed as he heard the names of the S' ranked mages, -"Mabye they are considered S' ranked but I can beat any of them in any moment because I'll..."-, Alex was interrupted by a smack on his head given by Master Mercer, "Fool... did you forget what happened when you faced of against Vamp, you couldnt even land a single hit against him and he defeated you", Mercer said, -"He cheated so he could beat me, that didnt count as a victory..."-, Alex said as he didnt looked back, he knew that Mercer was right about the fight against Vamp...

They must have been very strong. She looked at ALex and Master Mercer as they spoke to one another about Vamp. She was surprised. He couldn't even land a hit on him!? she shivered at the thought. There was no way, she would even try. She walked beside Alex and gave him a smile "I'm sure someday you'll be able to beat him. Training and determination are the key aspects. Well...I wouldn't know" she laughed softly as she looked to the side, looking out into the distance.

As the days passed, Alex, Master Mercer and Rosetta finally reached the reunion point, there was no one there, -"Ahhh... old man, dont tell me that you got the wrong direction because I will..."-, Alex was interrupted by a sound so hard that the ground tremble, then it began to crack and a great tower came rising to the sky, Alex jumped back as he saw the tower, then fron it some people came out, they looked at Mercer, "Just as usual, not even because you have been master of a guild for almost 50 years you have changed Mercer" a man with a great hat that covered his eyes said, "Mercer... you'll never change, I hope those 2 mages arent like you", a woman said as she laughed a bit, Alex looked at her, <I can sense it... those 2 have a incredible magic power just like Master Mercer, but that woman dont look too old like the other man...>, Master Mercer smiled as he began walking, "Dont worry Lucien, I'll never grow up", he said as he entered the building, "Come on you 2, I didnt bring you as bodyguards just to stay outside the reunion", Alex moved into the building.
Master Mercer, Lucien, the woman, Alex and Rosetta walked through the halls of the great tower, lost of pictures were at the walls, past guilds and past members of the council, Alex stopped as he saw one, -"So this is Laxus... the guy you're always comparing me, I dont see why he is so..."-, Master Mercer hit Alex on his head, "Be more respectfull kid, he once was the Guild Master and belive me he was one of the strongest", "After all, his bloodline came from the past master Makarov", Lucien said as they keep walking. Finally they entered a great room, people was already inside, -"Hey old man... who are these people?"-, Alex asked, "They are the other guild masters, they are Lucien, guild master of Quatro Cerberos, Blaze, guild master of Blue Pegasus, Iufa, guild master of Lamia Scale... and that other man there is Ulsaruz, he and his guild are new to the council, he is the master of Skylight", Master Mercer said as he took his seat on the table, Alex and Rosetta behind him.
An old man entered the room, he was followed by knights as he sitted in the chair that was at the center of the room, he slowly opened his eyes an looked at the guild masters, "The reunion starts now" he said as the doors were shut down. "I... the first enchanter Irvin, head of the mage council, have come here to hear the results of the past evaluations of the guilds", he said as he looked at all of them, Alex began to feel a bit dizzy, the magic aura that guy gave was diferent from all of the guild masters, -"Hey old man... who is that one in the center"-, Alex whispered, "He is Irvin Groetzan, dont get fooled by his appereance, he is considered as the strongets mage in all the world", Alex opened more his eyes as he looked at the old man in the center, could someone of that age could have a magic power that strong?...

All sorts of things were going on in her mind. She looked at the two mages. They gave off a strong power, which was easy to detect. She was surprised, and amazed. She quickly turned to Master Mercer, when he said that. With a quick nod she followed after him. I guess, this mission might be more interesting then I thought! she thought as she walked beside Alex. She looked at the pictures with interest. She wasn't really a newby to the mage world. But when it came to guilds she didn't know much about them. She listened to their conversation. She looked at the guild masters as they went inside. She gulped slightly, wondering what was going to happen. She jolted again, when she heard the doors shut. She was also over-whelmed by the power coming from the mages. She kept her composure though, but looked around the area though, examining the people and area with curiosity.

Alex looked at Irvin, he could feel the man was supressing his magic aura so he didnt gave a shock to the others in the room, -"Has he always been this strong?"-, Alex asked Master Mercer, "I think so... he was the one who introduced the Arcane Warriors to the council, I think he also was called "The End", because when he entered the battle it took little time for him to finish with his oponents", Alex was more suprised when he heard that. "I, Lucien, guild master of Quatro Cerberos, gave the report that the evaluation was succesfull as we achived the goal of the quests", Lucien said as he smiled, "I, Blaze, guild master of Blue Pegasus, give the report that we also achived the task", "I, Iufa, guild master of Lamia Scale advice that the task was difficult but we achived it", the woman said as she closed her eyes, "Master Mercer... what was the result of your evaluation?", Irvin asked, "I, Mercer, guild master of Fairy Tail, tell that we achived the task and also promoted a new mage to S' rank...", he was interrupted by Irvin, "So... who of those 2 is the new S' rank mage?", "None of them... all the S' rank mages are on important quest now", Mercer said.
"So... you brought 2 mages that are not capable of even taking care of themselfs, thats patetic Mercer", the last one said, Ulzarus stand up as he looked at Alex, "I can see why you bring them... they mabye are dragon slayers but they arent cualified to be in a reunion of such importance", Alex took one step infront, -"You better think before you talk..."-, he said as he was about to take out the Alastor when Irving lifted his hand, "This is a reunion, not a battlefield, so no fight will be allowed here... continuing, Ulzarus, how did your guild managed the evaluation?", "We acomplished it... and if thats all that we were asked to say... Im leaving", he said as he began walking to the door and exited the reunion, "So... thats a dragon slayer... I hope he really is as strong as the legends said, or my pet wont be entretained..."
