Most people call me mean, selfish as well as heartless. I like to keep them all guessing. I'm actually a kind person, on the inside of my hardened shell. I actually fear the coming of my impending death. I push everyone away, afraid that they will be depressed and extremely sad when I have gone. If I push them all away, they won't miss me, they won't even be sad. Although sometimes I go on rampages, even when I don't mean it. This is because of how sick I am... but we'll get to that later. I have a very explosive temper, so it is unwise to upset me. I've been pushing them all away for so long, I don't know how to be nice anymore.

One cold, stormy thirty-first of October, I was born. It was exactly seven o' clock and my mother and father were hoping that this time, they could have a child with no problems. Their first child had down syndrome up until the day that he died. Instead of a child with no problems, however, they got me. When the doctors took me away to clean me up and check my vitals, they noticed that I had two problems, my lungs didn't really work correctly and I couldn't see. My mother and father were worried that I would die like their first child.

Unfortunately for them, I wouldn't give up that easily.

A week later, the doctors said that it was a miracle that I was alive, now able to see and having two good working lungs. Happily, my parents took me home. Two years later, I came down with a disease that no one has ever heard of before. My mother and father worked themselves to death trying to find a cure. I was then put into the care of the maids at the main estate, growing older and older. I was seven when I finally got rid of my first disease. I was free of sickness for only a year before coming down with a new one.

They all finally figured out what I was when I was eight. I was there Starkeeper. The maids told me what that was and I was absolutely horrified when I found out. "So... I'm going to die without living out my full life?" I asked in a child's warble to the old maid that had taken care of me like my own mother used to. "Yes... sadly, you will die young." She said patting my head and leaving me to contemplate my own demise. I didn't take it well, or so they thought because I became a real brat after that, making sure that all of my stars were bowing at my feet. I became so nasty that I was sure that they all would leave me. Lately, I have started hating everything, especially when things leave me because I know that any moment, I could fall over, dead.

Lillian was always a free minded character that loved to be free and in the outdoors. Since a young age Lillian loved the nature and hates to be locked up in a room or left indoor, she would love to go exploring and see new and interesting things which helped develop her free spirited character. She loves to make others laugh and be happy, even the Starkeeper. However because of her impatient personality she accepts challenges and adventures easily before thinking over the outcomes or consequences. However, even in bad situations Lillian tried to make the best out of it and cheer everyone up.

One sunny morning in April in the villa on the sealine of Greece, a baby girl was born. Since birth the baby always smiled and always brought smiles to those that she was with, with this in mind the parents of this child named her Lillian which was Latin for lily. Both of Lillian’s parents understood the curse the Romano family had to carry, however they never expected their child to be host to such a curse. At first they were shocked and couldn’t comprehend what was happening, however not wanting their child to grow up and a stranger and outsider of the world they decided to raise Lillian as a normal girl and hide the curse from her.

After several years, when Lillian turned 7, she was finally told the truth about her and the family’s curse. One day she was playing with her friends and bumped into a young boy. Lillian didn’t know what happened but the other kids started to scream and run away from her. Lillian didn’t understand what was happening and tried to talk to the other children but couldn’t say anything before they all ran away. After a few minutes her parents came running to her and quickly took her home and explained everything. They felt so guilty and blamed themselves countless times but Lillian only smiled and thanked her parents. The one sentence that let her be the person that she was to this day was, “Thank you mom, dad for telling me this. I’m not sure what this curse thing really is but I’m sure there was a reason for me to get it. I won’t run away from an adventure like this.” Lillian kept her smile and never lost it, even when it seemed like she was losing her life bit by bit. Finally her parents decided that they couldn’t take care of her alone and went back to the main estate so that Lillian could be properly taken care of.

And out of the three of us, I'm the only one with a completely sane mind. The voice of reason, if you will. I'm the one who keeps the twins in check (or at least attempt to, cuz Lord knows they hardly listen to me nowadays). In a sense I represent the dual-naturedness of the Gemini; while my sisters are a bit on the weird side, I do my best to be the big brother that the girls can look to and maintain a "normal" facade. Adults call me well-mannered, mature, and ambitious. Peers call me brainy, hard-working, and way too serious. I tend to take things seriously. so if someone insults something I care about but then later insists that "it was a joke", I still won't be too happy with them.

If you're doubtful, we're triplets. Alice and Abigail are identical twins, and I'm the odd one out, as their fraternal brother. I'm assuming it's because we're triplets instead of twins or a single child, so the curse went strange on us. It took on a volatile nature and would affect us at random. It took a couple years before our parents realized that all three of us were affected by the curse, and because they were never sure who was affected when, they became overprotective of us. They essentially shut us off from the world, because they were afraid that one day the girls would turn into ferrets and get run over, or I'd turn into a girl and get abused.
I won't lie, it was a lonely childhood. All we had was each other, and as the older brother, the girls got attached to me really quickly. It was frustrating, really. Not Alice and Abigail; I'll get mad at them for harassment, but I'll never stay mad at them or hate them. It was the fact that we were isolated not just from the world but also technically our entire family that really annoyed me. I grew to hate the curse, of the strain it put on our parents and the limits it put on the girls. There was a whole world out there, and because of the stupid curse there were so many things that we couldn't do because frankly, people would freak out.
Our personalities and interests probably stemmed from our different ways of coping with the semi-isolation. Alice tried to keep positive about it and about life, while Abigail figured that since she was already unusual delving into things that were also unusual wouldn't be weird. And me . . . I just wanted to break the curse and be a regular person. No random ferret transformations or gender bending, no social isolation. I sought knowledge, knowledge of anything and everything, so that I could try and figure out how to break out of this gilded birdcage of ours. I also wanted to be able to defend our family, but not with physical means. I'm just not the type of person who resorts to violence to solve my problems. Besides, beating people up wouldn't get as much information as careful maneuvering of words. So I started directing myself towards a career as a lawyer.
Other than that, our lives were fairly normal. We attended school (though our parents always worried about us), hung out with friends (had a curfew though, and we always had to be together), worried about marks (that was more Alice and Abigail, but I worried anyways), fell in and out of love (we knew it was impossible but there was no harm in liking someone anyways). That is, until one day we received a letter from what was apparently the main Romano family inviting us to move in with them. That was when we found out that we weren't the only ones who had the curse. Our parents were reluctant at first, but soon decided that being around others like us would be better for our safety than being around people who could trigger our curse any time. It was strange, being away from our family, but we soon got acquainted with the other Zodiac and then it wasn't so bad. Granted, there's still the chance that we could transform others because of the volatile nature of our part of the curse, but at least they would understand.
Recently, the Starkeeper announced that we would move to Japan. We never got an explanation as to why, but off we went.

Blanca always has been, and always will be, at the head of the pack, both figuratively and literally; her competitive nature can be a tad overbearing and intimidating at times to be sure, but her ambitions are clearly defined and you can always count on Blanca to go through with what she says. Optomistic and truely a believer in self dependance, Blanca's lack of an introverted lifestyle and her courage to, as she puts it, "stand where others clearly tell you to sit" has given her many friends and the ease of mind to be placed in positions of leadership. However, Blanca does not always necessarilly have the longest strands of patience, and will revolt if told what to do, no matter if in a positive or negative light. Protective of those close to her, hardworking and friendly at best, but suspicious, devious and generally obnoxious at the worst.

Born in the Itallian countryside to a painter mother and a soccer player father, unlike a number of the Romanos who grew to see their secondary form as a curse, Blanca was taught to respect herself for who and what she was; sure her parents, her father especially, were upset and confused, but as Blanca was their first and only child, a beautiful baby, they were determined to give her all they could. So while much of Blanca's confidence comes from her zodiac, she is equally charming because she was taught, from a very young age in a generally warm environment, that she had nothing to be ashamed of.

Maybe this wasn't the best way to go about things; after a conversation with some of her friends about how she could be a lion, the situation got out of hand. Authorities had to be called onto the schoolyard at report that there was a small white beast prowling the grounds; but when they arrived, Blanca was the only one to be found. Relieved she'd escaped notice but worried all the same, Blanca's family dropped her off into the house of Romano, where she could still live pleasantly; her parents were given a small house outside the main grounds, which Blanca visits frequently.

Jeanne is a creative girl. She is never the type to go plainly, or wear something neutral. She likes to stand out. She doesn't like to go the easy way. She thinks that by doing things the harder way you'll me much more proud of yourself in the end. She also does not like not being organized. The thought of it irritates her. She likes to be clean, refined and has good hygiene. She is also very observant. She is not the type to miss small details. Instead she is careful to include details. Another thing is that she is very judicious. She says what is on her mind, and is not afraid to show it. She is also very kind, and open minded. Not something you would expect from a Virgo. She also has a childish nature, but when ever Starkeeper is around she is back to her mature nature. Out of all this, there can be times when she goes to far. Not all of her opinions benefit the others. She can be somewhat irrational as well. Which does irritate the others, but it is not often.

Before Jeanne was born, her parents lived out of the estate. They were fine until her father came back from his tour, and hugged Jeanne. Then out of nowhere he was crushing a dove in his arms. Her parents then ignored her. They wouldn’t say anything to her, but she knew that they hated her. Sometimes silence explains everything. She decided it was better to move away. But of course, where?

By the time she realized there were others like her, three years had passed, and her mother had already died two years before. Her father, of course, was enraged, and physically abused her every night a week after her death. He would yell at her telling her it was all her fault that his wife died. After a while she found the address to the Romano house, and left her father. Of course there was a possibility that she was carrying life in her. So, when she arrived at the Romano house, she immediately had herself checked. Luckily, she was free. So, she was able to move on without regret.

Now, she is capable of pushing back the memories. She can still smile like nothing ever happened. All though she would get constant questions on how she is able to smile like that after all the things she had been through. She simply says, “Because if I don’t move on then later on I’ll regret it.”

First and foremost, Guinevere seems to be a contradiction to the personality guidelines for her star sign. Why is this? Because, she's a tsundere ( for those who may not know: someone who acts cold, but is actually kind-hearted ). Other than that, she's a pretty standard Libra: diplomatic, elegant, charming, a lover of beauty - in art and music, and harmony. Again, despite her surface personality, she's really nice and can almost instantly sense if someone is down about something. She will talk to them and let them spill their hearts until they feel better. When being thanked for such things, she responds with, "It's not like I did it for you or anything." In actuality, she enjoys the gratitude.

Some of her negative traits include the obvious "tsundere" personality cover up. Guinevere can also be very shallow when it comes to outward appearances; for this, she spends quite a bit of time on her own appearance. If she feels she doesn't look good enough, she will not show her face. She's also indecisive - which is also a base for her shallow nature, way too easy-going to ask her opinion on activities, and is guilty of being gullible ( which is why she has her surface personality ).

Guinevere was born and raised in Venice, Italy the famous floating city. Her mother was a skilled painted and sculptor whose pieces frequented many art galleries. Her biological father, well... she didn't know much of him except that he was English - which explained her hair and eyes - that he played the violin, and that he'd passed away. However, she wasn't without a father figure so it wasn't so bad. She'd grown up in a pretty stable home and attended school normally. Her knack for music and art were no surprise to her mother and she and Gwen's step father both help her nurture her skills.

When she found out about her curse, it shocked her a lot and she tried to deny it for a year. Though, after she'd gotten a good look at her animal form, she took a liking to it. Now, while she's in animal form, she doesn't mind it at all, but she still prefers to be human.

After a while, Guinevere started feeling lonely since she was the only one that she knew who had this curse. Once she talked to her mother about it, the woman told her daughter of a home where there were others like her. She'd heard of this house via a traveling gypsy fortune teller and sought it out. Though it was tough, Guinevere left her home and entered the Romano house where she'd met the other Western Zodiacs. From then, that was her home until they found out that they were leaving for Japan.

For the most part, Atray is very quiet, rarely ever choosing to speak unless he has to, but at the same time the Scorpio, as per his zodiac's trait list, is incredibly intense, forever watching and keeping tabs on other. His temper can flare fast and viciously, but rare is the occasion when Atray will openly display this; rather he prefers to keep his emotions, all of his discomfort, rage and dislike wrapped carefully away, bubbling until it reaches the boiling point and he explodes on whatever poor unfortunate soul happens to be the closest. Over the years Atray has learned how to keep his composure in check, but it's still best not to push him too much. Mature even for his age, Atray despises being treated like a child, and often takes it upon himself to bear the burdens of the other zodiac members, most especially the girls. People are always, at first glance, attracted to Atray, though it could just be because he doesn't say much and they like to fantasize. Not that he cares much; it's not that he doesn't like people...there just aren't many people that bother spending enough time with him to think otherwise of the general population.

Born Nicholas Romano, Atray, unlike the rest of the zodiac, didn't know about his curse untill he was into his teens; in the absence of a mother the Scorpio was raised single handedly by his father, a prominant figure in the Itallian militia, and therefore grew up with a strict set of disciplines and regulations. He didn't attend public school, and was tutored at home inbetween building up his physical strength and learning to shoot with a variety of firearms. Rumors began to spread about their neighborhood, rumors in context to the strange pair of men who didn't seem to want anything to do with the community. Rumors about the purple haired son who was far too intense to be any fun. Well, with a reputation like that you're bound to eventually draw some nosy people, right? This is how Atray found out about his curse; a misplaced step over a slippery porch, a far too curious girl crashing into his chest, and the next thing you know, scorpion outside the door, letting in all the cold air.

Needless to say the girl freaked out, but Atray's father was better about it then most people; actually, he was glad that out of all the animals in the world, his son happened to be a possibly poisonous harbringer of slow and painful death. Rather fitting for his personality, his father thought. But of course he couldn't well stay at his usual home, so off to the main Romano complex he went. Oringinally Atray had planned to be in the military like his father, but under the strict and ever atching gaze of the Starkeeper that wasn't something he could well pursue. So he went for what people had been encouraging for years, and became a male model, the equivalent of a japanese idol; it wasn't hard, since his slightly softened features made up for his jutting personality. To better stick out, as per his manager's instructions, Atray changed his name for good, and went international in just a few weeks. He's well recognized all over the world now.

Luca grew up in the Romano family without any parents to speak of; his mother was disgusted and shocked by the fact that her son was equally horse as he was human, and his father had died in a car accident before his birth so when she gave him away to the main family and erased all ties with him there was nobody to complain. Growing up Luca was quite the handful, always longing to see the world outside his complex, the world where people were not quite the same as he was; through persistance, he did eventually get his way. Being one of the oldest zodiacs in the Romano family Luca witnessed many things that others did not, such as the birth of the Starkeeper for the family, and because of this, because of the responsibility that age gave him over his fellow members, Luca managed to live a life quite different from his younger family members. He attended public school without incident, always careful though he was by no means cold to any of his classmates or the staff, and easilly graduated higher education; to better his love of travelling he became an Archaeologist.

It was on a particular dig in Spain that Luca found the love of his life, a pretty, easygoing and slightly childish woman by the name of Jenna. Though their time in knowing each other was short spectators still claim they were truely in love, that they could have even been married given a bit more time. This never happened; thinking she would understand his curse, Luca revealed to her his second form. She was mortified, just like his mother had been, but there was no need for memory erasure as two weeks later she killed herself, people thinking she was crazy the whole way. Fellow workers assured him that it was not his fault; that she'd been hiding a mental illness from the world which had finally taken its toll, but Luca still believes the blame to lay with him. Afterwards he quit his job of Archaeology, and never bothered with forging relationships outside of his family ever again.

Kind of moody, she acts like stuff doesn't bother her or that she just doesn't care. She does care, but people have the impression that she's a traitor and so she goes along and pretends to be one. She doesn't like it, she likes to laugh loud and express how she's really feeling. She wants to be closer to the Starkeeper, but that just doesn't seem possible. Because of her addictions, her exact mood can't exactly be predicted. Some times she'll be going through withdrawal and will be snippy and kind of twitchy. When she's on her high though, she's what you would expect from someone who was high, though most of the time she's safely tucked away in her room or out on the town, someplace where she might not be discovered. She watches the rest of the zodiac with lonely and jealous eyes, as they go about happy and together, while she is the outcast.

Ringo's story is not exactly a sad one. Her parents didn't die in some horrific crash, they're both very much alive and not even divorced. She doesn't have some deformity, disease or anything of the sort that would make her an outcast socially and/or in her own home, nothing like that. Ringo's family is a large one, and though cursed they are all generally happy she thinks, so what could be the problem? Maybe there isn't one. As the embodiment of Ophiuchus, her relationship with the rest of the zodiac isn't the greatest, but they manage to be civil to each other. Ringo was born on a cold December morn, on the same couch that she uses to watch tv, for her father was a doctor. Her mother is a cleaning lady, and yeah that's not fancy, but she's always busy. So is her father. Both so very busy, Ringo doesn't see them as much as she'd like, and they can never make it to her dance recitals. When she hit her early teens, Ringo began to grow rather lonely, and a little fed up with never being noticed. On a walk home form school, she took a side street, and on this street she met a shady guy who looked to be about mid-twenties. He introduced her to a little thing called 'pot', and Ringo being the impressionable and moody child she was, tried it for kicks. This led her to try other things, 'just for kicks' she would tell herself. Now she's addicted, but keeping it under wraps. No one's caught her yet.
