A Christmas Poem

I wake up and you see
What is under the Christmas tree
A bike for Susie
A dog for Ray
I’m sure it must be Christmas day
Your parents upstairs realize your awake
Mother complains “for goodness sake”
You see Santa has come
And with gleaming eyes
The bells begin to chime
It must be Christmas time
