Eh, I guess for me .... I grew up ...and lived for a long time in an area that was violent, dirty, and dangerous. I look at the internet and think, okay ... if someone is going to travel all the way across the country to rape me, then more power to them. .... they might get a sword down their chest when they get here. I just .... not but 5-years ago lived in a "crack house" (No, I'm not into drugs and never have been) But, we didn't have money ...so we had to live where it was cheap. That turned out being an apartment building filled with drug-addicts and prostitutes. There were many nights when guys would stop me thinking I was a hooker, just because I lived there. So, I guess ....after actually living through that stuff ....I don't see much fear in someone in California knowing where I live. >_<;;;;;;;;;

Heh. I don't really consider myself brave, just dealing with things that I had to. ... It was either hold my head high and deal with it, or submit to the darkness. I'm not going to let where I live beat me. The slums were hell, but I knew we'd get out. And we are. heart ....And plus, sometimes prostitutes can be pretty nice people ... and I always had people to hang out with and play cards. .... Even if they turned out to be drug dealers and murderers. sweatdrop sweatdrop sweatdrop sweatdrop sweatdrop sweatdrop sweatdrop ....I think I was naive for the most part. I wanted to see the good in everyone that I didn't look at the fact that these people were dangerous. And they all seemed to have a respect for me, because I didn't get in their way ... and they didn't get in my way. Ya know?

I didn't know how much crap you had to go through when you were younger.

Certainly glad you survived it all...

Many would not be as strong.

Perhaps they liked you because you treated them differently then anyone else. People will latch onto someone that gives them something that no one else can or will. It makes them feel better about themselves.
