the Dreamscapist village midget are the best band of this century. I'm actually inclined to completely agree with you. Escpecally considering the Suburbs. Not only is the whole album fantastic and cohesive, they have the phenomenal way of conveying what's it like to grow up in 21st century America through sound. Modern Man and Sprawl II and especially We Used to Wait, all of them have the fantastic notion of wanting and wanting to be rid of. Missing something you never had. The idea that this technology and progress and modernism is also alienating and unfulfilling. I could write a whole paper on it. I personally love We Used to Wait, because I write letter to people - people abroad and next door - and the emotion of the song is perfect.
