Chris Reed" Sometimes I wonder if it's all worth getting my heart broken everyday , but then I look into those beautiful eyes and I know that yes , it's totally worth it... " Chris Inspected the case carefully, hoping to prove himself to Alex when suddenly it dawned on him. The Mona Lisa.... He looked up and saw the man with the police report of the artifact after it was stolen. He motioned to the man and the man handed him the files. He opened his bag and opened up the rest of the police reports, scanning over every single one in full on detail. He closed the files and placed them back in his bag and stood. "I know where every missing peice is." He stated, no hint of the tiniest bit of doubt in his voice.

Alexander Seth Marcel "I know where every missing peice is." Glancing over from his inspection of the case, Alexander had to blow his bangs out of his eyes before appraising his partner with a mix of concern and suspicion. It wasn't that he didn't trust Chris because he could most certainly be relied on in the worst of situations (when he wasn't busy groping Alex in his sleep) but it was hard to know what was going on in that head of his sometimes.
"Well you certainly sound sure of yourself; care to enlighten the rest of us on this sudden discovery of yours that we can't see?" Might have sounded a little harsh, but Alexander took his work very seriously; being a detective was his life's work, but in addition to it being his chosen career working as an undercover man was just as much for his younger brother, Nate, who, not far behind, was also interested in the same field. And Alexander wanted to be able to teach his younger sibling from experience, not just from text.
"But Detective Marcel, we've gone over everything so many times. How could he have caught something we missed?" This question was pushed aside with a dismissive wave of the hand.
"We're professionals, and much better at this then street cops. That's why you hired us, isn't it? Besides.." Standing up and putting his hands on the lower half of his back to stretch out all the muscles, Alexander turned his attention back to Chris. "..I trust Chris more then anyone else I know; he is my partner, after all. What've you got?" Something to get out of Paris would be welcomed; it was starting to get hard to take all these damn french men who continuously groped him everywhere he went. Culture to hell, it was getting very tiresome.

LUCE (Luke) SAILINGS"Don't just go blindly trusting me..."Even though Luce had been up since the crack of dawn and deserved his rest (the art thief had gotten back in at about 3 in the morning), he'd always been an early riser and therefore at about six or so he was already up, fully dressed but not yet having eaten anything. True, he was only going on about three hours of sleep, but Luce was used to having irregular sleep patterns so it was fine. However, it probably wasn't quite as fine for the man he had chosen to take as his lover, and as a result the twenty four year old found himself leaning on the balcony rail of the large hotel room he had rented out for the pair; thankfully he didn't keep his artwork here, or it might have been disasterous.
"It is rather nice here..." Luce murmured quietly; his mother had been itallian, hence the odd name, and his father had been American hence the more average substitute, but strangely enough he'd never been to Italy before. "Maybe once I tie up all these loose ends I'll buy an apartment in Venice country.." If he ever came back, of course; Luce was well aware that those two detectives were almost right on his heels. Why, no sooner had he left France then they'd showed up to sniff around. Hopefully they wouldn't be rooting him out any time soon. Then he would have to explain things to his partner, and he did actually care for the man, so....having him learn the second side of the life he lived would end up a huge issue."In the end, I'll steal a whole lot more then your heart."

Chris Reed" Sometimes I wonder if it's all worth getting my heart broken everyday , but then I look into those beautiful eyes and I know that yes , it's totally worth it... " Chris blushed lightly at Alex's words. More than anyone? He really meant that much to Alex? He looked down to hide his grin as Alex went on and looked up at him, giving him the look that meant he didn't trust anyone here and his discovery should be taken private.Sebastian Walker " Every time you leave me or ignore me becomes one more break in the heart I thought you would always protect.... Sebastian awoke at seven and yawned. He could hear his lover outside but made no motion to go to him. He'd just get pushed away. He sat up slowly and ran his fingers through his black hair, yawning once more. He stayed there as he thought over things he could do in Italy while Luce, no doubt, would abandon him to go do something secretly or hit on other guys... Or worse. Sebastian shuddered lightly. He had agreed under Luce's terms that their relationship would be an open one but Sebastian had wanted otherwise. He still knew next to nothing about Luce and wondered why he even stayed with the man anymore. He was 20 years old and he could take care of himself. He just needed to make his plans... It would be so much easier for Luca if Sebastian was out of Luce's life, Sebastian had known so for awhile.((Hey sorry for not responding, I was sick and busy and couldn't get online))

(It's okay; I definately know what that feels like)Alexander Seth Marcel Arching a brow at the look Chris gave him, Alexander sighed, brows wrinkling; while it was good to be suspicious of others when working on such a long case sometimes the detective thought maybe his partner was a little too wary. But for now they would do things his way; slapping a smile onto his face, Alexander turned back to Nichole, dwarfed by his height. "I'm terribly sorry to do this to you all, but my partner and I need to take care of a thing or two in private; do you have a room we could use for a few minutes of talking?" Pursing her lips in thought, Nichole nodded and smiled back, lacing her hands together.
"We have inventory room?" She suggested in broken English. "Used to keep documents; there's a table and some chairs." Drawing an imaginary map with her finger, Nichole gave out some directions. "Just turn back the way you came, take a right. First door on your left?"
"Thank you." Giving the French woman a pat on the hand to show his appreciation, Alexander made sure to give Salim a wide birth as he skirted around the man, motioning for Chris to follow him. He didn't say anything until they'd reached the room, rather because he was looking at some of the art he was passing, but once the door had closed and the lights had turned on he was all business again. "Alright, so what've you got? It must be pretty good information if you don't want anyone else to hear it." Well, either that or he just wanted to get Alexander alone...hopefully that wasn't the case.

LUCE (Luke) SAILINGS"Don't just go blindly trusting me..."After about ten more minutes of scenery watching, Luce could actually feel himself start to droop a little bit; he was running on a dangerously low amount of sleep, after all. But he'd have to keep himself awake; no telling what could happen at any given moment. "Well then, I suppose the first thing to start with, would be breakfast.." He murmured to nobody in particular, stretching his arms over his head with a light grunt as his boots slapped down against the carpet heralding his entrance back into the room. Noticing that Sebastian was now awake, Luce smiled. "Buon giorno (good morning). I'm glad to see that I didn't wake you up; I trust you got enough sleep?" Turning his attention to the window, Luce took a moment to smooth down the collar of his shirt.
"I just finished a call with one of my co-workers." He noted, having moved from his collar to finishing pulling up the tie he'd meant to fix though he'd actually never gotten around to it. "He said I can finally take a break today, so is there anywhere you would like to go?" Since Luce couldn't very well say he made a living stealing art, the story was that he worked in appraisals; it made a good cover from all the intelligence calls he tended to get, and the late hours he worked. "I'm sorry I've not spent much time with you, but today I'm all yours." "In the end, I'll steal a whole lot more then your heart."
