Tiberius heard the womens response to his statement and it seemed they where getting no where with one another. He shook his head a little form side to side before returning to the heart of battle and it was slowly wearing him down. Letting out a huff of air he sent another creature to its grave before turning her attention to the women for a breif moment as she spoke to him. However the fighting around him was too close to ignore and he stood his ground as he listened to her words. "I am no leader a soldier in the kings forces and a Guardian of these lands" he barked back to the women over the sound of the howls and screams. The title might have carried some weight to it so maybe she would understand his purpose here.

His gaze soon wandered to the wall of fire near them and only repositioned him self near the women. "Then I fight until my last breath and can secure both of out safety" Tiberius said as he looked over at her. It had crossed his mind that there was a way to ride them selves of these pests but it would be draining and might vary well end his life. Although their options where wearing thin. Several strategies wandered about his mind and he gazed around them. "Where are the exits of Atia" he inquired in a quickened voice. All he needed to know where those few locations and he might be able to plot an escape.

Tiberius did begin to wonder how many of those creatures had surrounded this place but they would find out soon enough. He let out a soft breath and held his current stance waiting for her answer.

Alia

His remarks only seemed to anger her further. She took her rage out on the five closest beings, lopping two heads off and beating down the other three. "then use some sense!" she growled back. "Guardians should use their life dying the best way they can saving the most people they can. You should be traveling with the others to the capital to prepare for the battle there! Not wasting your time here for nothing!" the way he made it sound made it seem like being a guardian was only about dying. Surely it had to be something greater than that. Alia grabbed one of the arms that reached for her throat and flipped the body over her then brought the hilt of her blade into his head. She sheathed the sword only to use both hands that clasped her staff, and swung it around as hard as she could knocking many back. Then pointed to a trail a ways up the road. "that way. Its the quickest out." alia answered the man before turning back to battle getting many cuts in the process. She wondered what he was up to but didn't have time to ask as the battle became worse. The cries from several large beasts echoed in the valley as the entered the two human's sights.

"There are others to do that task" Tiberius said as he looked back over at the women. The outcome of this battle was in there favor and he saw the larger skeletal beasts come into view. A huff of air came from him as he summoned another spirit weapon to float by his side. Her voice entered his ears again and he looked in the direction she was point at this moment. "Then that is where we will go" he said in a commanding tone before pushing him self forwards into a number of oncoming beasts. Some tugged on his armor attempting to bog down the guradian but they where dispatched of quickly.

He summoned a shield that would hover before each of them. They had the same teal glow as his spirit weapon and he directed his own to block an attack that might have been fatal to the women near him. "Move forwards I will clear a path" he said. His voice was crisp and clear booming over the of the horde. Quickly he moved into another position and brought the floating hammer into the veil beasts the blocked their path. Groans and screams came from some as they bones where crushed by the force of the impact. The way was clear for the being but for how long he could not say for certain.

Tiberius picked up his pace and jogged forwards dispatching an enemy or two that stood in his path. "When I call stand by my side and move with me" he said as he looked towards her keeping his distance to women for her safety and his own.

Alia jumped back to get away from the guardian who's mighty weaponry was deadly and swift. She feared to be cut down with the rest should she have stayed close to his side. As Alia backed up she noticed the horde still flooding in and couldn't help but wonder if they would ever make it out alive. Alia shook the doubts from her head and returned to the battle. It wasn't until she had slit one of the beast's throat and had two others strangling, by the vines she summoned, that she heard the rest of his words. Reluctantly but immediately she pulled back and raced up the side of the rocky mountain's slope to get to the pass. She called for him to follow as she put her hand against the jagged rocks allowing an avelanche of rocks cave down on the monsters further down in the battle. It also provided a sufficient barrier to hold them off for at least a while so that they could escape.

As he followed her she stuck close to him as he had ordered. She lead him down the path knowing the trail by heart. Every pebble that fell they were able to dodge, the sides were steep and above them were dagerous rocks waiting to fall of unsuspecting passers. Alia was prepared though and took him up at one point having to lean against the mountain side when the trail became only a foot in width. Their goal was still quite a distance as the howlings behind them grew louder. "they won't be able to make it up the cliff side if we hurry" she earged quickening her oace but making sure not to slip on the moss covered rocky trail. She wondered if the guardian would be alright with all of his armor.

Tiberius watched as the women gunned it up the side of a cliff and he merely stared at the surface. She was mad to think he would climb it but the approaching horde was just the motivation he required for such a task. Upon securing his weapon to his side he let go of his shield letting it strike the ground. It bounced ones and made a ting before falling still. Reaching he attempted to climb the rough surface but his armor weighted him down quite a bit. A huff came from him as he gazed around the area and soon they came to a path but it seemed they would not have much time to rest and where off once again.

Although he was glad to see that she was able to keep close to him as he ordered her too. It made his task simpler at this time. Tiberius felt the path below them thinned to only a foots length. Once again his armor became an issue as it did impact his freedom of movement but not as much as one would think. "Continue to lead" he said. His eyes wandered about the area and he saw an arrow, along with stones come flying towards them. For a brief moment they where surrounded in a barrier that had a teal tint to it but it soon faded as he began to move. With that done he kept his gaze on the path before them as he made his way slowly wishing not to fall. It would be a rather unpleasant end to his life.
