~~ The vixen opened her eyes, forcing herself to her feet. She had to find out what happened to her comrads, and a few scratches and bruises weren't going to stop her. She made her way out of the room, by grabbing objects and steadying herself as she went. So far so good.... ~~

Kaimei sighed when he watched the vixen from the corner of his eye. "I won't come look for you if you insist on being stupid and not letting yourself rest and heal," he said dryly. He knew it was bullshit even as it left his mouth; it just wasn't in him to leave someone hurt on the streets, even if it'd been done to him. They'll probably do worse to her, he thought, not certain if he should bother going after her or not. She won't know where the Rashikage took the craft without my guiding her to them, he thought with a frustrated sigh.

~~ The vixen knew her ship was too damaged to go anywhere(sort of like her). She managed to climb out of the tunnel and into the daylight. However, her burst of energy wore out, and she collapsed again, thankfully landing in soft, rockless grass.
Meanwhile, onboard the Great Fox in the Lylat System, quite a distance from Earth....
Laying ontop a bed, his arm in a sling and several cuts all over his body, was Fox McCloud, leader of Star Fox. He'd taken quite a bit of injury from a one-on-one starship battle with a certain rival, but was otherwise perfectly okay. He sighed, entirely bored and concerned about one of his comrads. Where is Krystal? He looked up as a tall, blue falcon man walked in, wearing a red jumpsuit.
"No sign of her on the radar, Fox." Falco said, leaning against the wall, crossing his arms. "But I'm sure she's fine." Unlike Fox, Falco had taken absolutely no blows. All right, his Airwing was a bit banged up, but he himself was unscathed. ~~

Kaimei sighed again as he walked after the vixen woman. "Stubborn little vixen... but I'm certain you're loyal to those you trust," he muttered as he picked her up carefully. He carried her back into the tunnel, twisting a small stone knob that tilted a mirror, increasing the amount of light let in to increase the prismatic brightness so it was easier to see. He walked out of the tunnel, which was only about ten feet from the cave the vixen lay in at the moment and the outside. He noticed a shadow moments before a boot slammed into his ribs, slamming him back against the wall of the tunnel's mouth as he grunted. His vision cleared to show a guy in ragged clothing and black combat boots. "You aren't getting past me," Kaimei said with a grimace, spinning into a tornado kick and kicking away the switchblade the guy flicked out. He turned away only to feel something hard slam into the back of his head before he realized the guy had brained him with a rock; the only reason he didn't pass out from the impact, though his vision was heavily blurred and his balance was screwed over was sheer stubborn will to protect the vixen even if it meant him getting hurt to keep this self serving bakayou away from her. He spun drunkenly, his elbow slamming into the guy's jaw even as the switchblade drove up into his upper arm from underneath. He yanked it out with a hiss of rage and headbutted the guy hard, knocking him unconscious. He limped back into the tunnel, not noticing the blood trail he left behind from the gash in the back of his head and arm. He ignored the pain long enough to push a flat board in front of the opening and tug a wire to trigger a couple of traps that would hurt the guy pretty badly if he decided to try sneaking in. "I hope you're thankful for this," he muttered, weaving drunkenly toward the caldera, grabbing a sprig of St. John's Wort and shoving it in his mouth. He lost his balance not far into that short six foot tunnel and passed out from the pain.

"Dammit...." Fox sighed, putting a hand on his forehead, eyes closed. "I swear, I'll get Wolf for this."
"I garauntee you that Krystal is all right. That blue vixen is the toughest girl I've ever met. Guess she's your girlfriend, after all."
"She's not my-"
"Kidding."

Lucy Hare slipped into the infirmary. "Does anyone have any idea what the system we were in when Wolf ambushed us was called? It's possible she crashed on one of those planets, but I hope not," she said, leaning against the airlock's 'doorjamb'.
Kaimei's breathing was short and slightly ragged from the concussion he had from the guy's attack with the rock. His eyes opened slowly as he groaned under his breath, a growl edging into it near the end as he forced himself to his hands and knees even though it caused his vision to double over itself and made him nauseated in addition to making his head hurt worse.

~~ (All right. Anyone else you want to control? A quick recap of my people: Wolf, Fox, Falco, Slippy. And if you dont' want to use them, I'll take Panther, Leon and Peppy too :3)
A short, green frog ran in before they could reply, and he was looking nervous. "You know that tracking device I threw onto Wolf's ship before we retreated?" He asked, eyes wide.
Fox and Falco nodded.
"Well, they apparently didn't bother following us. They're still in that system, looking for Kystal's Airwing crash site. Currently, they're on Earth, the only planet orbiting that sun which can sustain life."
"What're you getting are, Slippy?" Fox raised his eyebrows. ~~

{I'm good for the moment... I may take Panther later just to make it amusing.} Lucy rolled her eyes, sighing softly. "Krystal likely crashed down there and we didn't notice it, but Wolf and his crew probably did," she said wryly, trying not to laugh since Fox either was dense when it came to Krystal or he was just plain dense in relationships, she wasn't sure which.
Kaimei collapsed on his abdomen a few feet from the vixen's cot, having barely managed to crawl, much less walk back to be near the ointments and herbs, though he knew at the moment he wasn't going to be able to take care of himself.

"What she said. I located Krystal's ship, and it's down on Earth too."
"Damn. I was praying it was something else." Fox got to his feet. "But it's never the easy option, is it?"
"Nope. But if it was, life would be boring as hell." Falco shouldered a massive plasma cannon, and walked out.
"Set course for the Earthbound System!" Slippy went with Falco.
"Is that really it's name?" Fox asked, following.
"No, I just came up with it. It's unnamed."
"Figured."

"Well, well, well...." said a semi-deep, calm voice, "What do we have here?"
"Krystal's little hide-out, perhaps?" remarked a high, maniacal one. "And who's this? Her little bodyguard?"
"He took a beating from someone, and to my knowledge, it wasn't us." ~~

Lucy rolled her eyes but went with the others. "Man, sometimes they're crazy and other times they're well.... crazier," she mumbled under her breath.
Kaimei grimaced as he concentrated as the pain in his head increased and burned before fading. He pushed himself to hands and knees, wincing with the lengthened canines of his kitsune form for a moment before he realized shifting had effectively lessened his injuries to little more than a painful headache. "Who the hell are you?" he growled, rising to one knee as he drew a pair of throwing knives but kept them out of sight and palmed; he knew how to use many different kinds of throwing weapons in addition to using the natural surroundings as a weapon. "If you must know, that imbecile out front brained me with a rock in the back of the head," he growled, wary of the strange beings and knowing they weren't from Earth.

~~ -------------- ~~ Standing infront of Kaimei was a green chameleon, and a grey wolf with a strange object covering one of his eyes, like a high-tech eyepatch. Both wore armor, although the wolf's looked a bit cooler. How the heck they'd made it inside, I'm not sure.
"Wolf O'Donnell. Leader of Star Wolf." said the wolf, "And I have a hunch telling me that there's a blue vixen you're keeping here. Hand her over with no fuss, and maybe Star Wolf will have mercy on you."
Said vixen opened her eyes, hearing a unfortunately-familiar voice. Wolf. Shoot! She weakly pushed herself to her feet.
(Have you ever looked at the star fox characters and thought, "These are some imaginative names....Wolf for a wolf...Fox for a fox...." xD) ~~

Kaimei's eyes narrowed fractionally as he rose to his full height. "I live here when I'm not in the city, which is most of the time, and besides, the only vixens I've seen are reddish brown in color and sure as hell don't look like you or me... at least in this form," he said bluntly. He smiled faintly as he spoke, one hand brushing against a very special compartment at the back of his belt which held an experimental nanite armor bracer even as he tilted his head. "They do wonder about life on other worlds around here, you know... too bad they underestimate what's here already," he muttered. His fist clenched as he drew it from behind him, though he didn't notice the tendrils of blue-black ooze creeping in the shadows behind him and to his right from a crack in the wall of the cavern.

Wolf smirked. "Look, that vixen-girl is of no use toyou. We, on the other hand, require her. Fighting us is not a wise option, as you will lose."
The vixen pushed herself to her feet. She grabbed her blaster from her waist, making her way down the hall to the room Kaimei, Leon, and Wolf were in, holding to the wall so she didn'tfall. ~~
