Do you need directions or would you rather just follow me there?" she asked wondering if Reiya was another one of the kids that Ashlie didn't even know, yet knew where she lived. "It's the mansion out on West Oak." she said looking up at the clock and noted that there was now only three minutes until the final bell rang.

"Oh! Um... Do you need a ride? Or do you have her own car?" Ashlie asked as she turned back around to face him.

Reiya thought it over, "My car is here, but I want to save my cash..." For drugs, "Ill ride with you, if you're offering." He stood up and started to walk twords her. He could feel his wings tensing against his back.

I just need to stop by my locker and grab the rest of my homework and then we can leave." she said with a slight smile on her face. Something was off about this guy. A knot started to form in Ashlie's stomach and she knew it had to be because of Reiya. But what was wrong with him? Ashlie certainly didn't see anything odd...

Reiya nodded, closing his eyes. He could only sense others like him in dark light. Sunglasses would look odd indoors, so this was the best he could do. There were definately demons close by, somwhere in the city. He opened his eyes and followed after her, keeping his mouth shut and his eyes everyewhere around him.

ღ Ashlie Veronica Adams ღ Behind those walls that won't come down, I'm sure you had more things to say. ╔══════════════════════════╗ Ashlie quickly made her way down the hall and towards her locker, smiling at people as they said good-bye to her. She walked down to her locker at the end of the hall and spun it open before snagging a few books from the top shelf and gracefully slamming them into her bag. She pulled the straps of her bag up over her shoulder and grabbed her purse off of one of the three hooks and slammed her locker shut as she slipped her keys out of her purse and into her hand. "Ready?" she asked, flashing a smile at Reiya.

Reiya nodded to her, expecting only the worst as they walked out to the car. He said nothing, why should he? It didnt matter if he talked to her in the long run... He waited up for her so that he knew which car to get in.

ღ Ashlie Veronica Adams ღ Behind those walls that won't come down, I'm sure you had more things to say. ╔══════════════════════════╗ Ashlie walked out into the parking lot and down towards the center of the front row where her black Porsche Carrera sat in the dead center of the row. She threw her bags into the trunk and unlocked the passenger side door for Reiya. "Get comfy." she said as she slid into her seat and hit the button that lowered the roof. "It's a twenty minute ride from here to my place." she smirked as she slid her pair of sunglasses onto her face. ╚══════════════════════════╝ You're upside down and inside out, I'm sure you had more things to say. ღ The Typical Human ღ Orange Ocarina Company:

Reiya got into the car, a bit amazed that she could have a car this nice. His was nearly as good, a clasic Mustang he had kept since his earlier years, but this was downright astounding.

ღ Ashlie Veronica Adams ღ Behind those walls that won't come down, I'm sure you had more things to say. ╔══════════════════════════╗ Ashlie giggled a bit and waved a hand in front of his face as she clicked her seat belt into place. "You alright over there?" Ashlie had noticed the surprise look that seemed to have crept onto his face. "My dad bought this for me for my birthday last year as an apology. He totaled my Beetle." she smiled as she threw the car into reverse and pulled out of the parking lot just under the speed limit so that she wouldn't get pulled over by the cop that had decided to position himself behind the school's sign as to catch any high schoolers who decided to speed out of the parking lot.

Reiya nodded to her as the car started up. He put on his sunglasses and tried to concentrate. Dark angels were close, that much was certain. They were taking extra care to stay hidden as well... They were either after him or someone else in town, who else they would want he couldnt know...

"So did you hear about the last victims murderer? Apparently someone claimed they saw one of the Devil's Angels...? Do you know what they meant by that?"

Reiya looked at her, not sure what to say. He could lie, but lieing wasnt something he had practiced often, "Its nothing you want to be involved in." He said to her, "Im certain of that." The tires began to spin out of controll, one of them had been ripped apart. He got out, knowing what came next, "Stay in the car!" He warned her loudly. They were closer than ever.
