"Now you have the right to be cocky," he spoke to his opponent with a stifled laugh. For a second tensions between the two shinobi had seemingly dwindled. Those tensions rekindled as Geiho took on a stance of his own. "I see you're finally getting serious, huh?" As soon as he spoke he heard the strangest of noises, only to look up and see a giant pillar about to come crashing down unto the catwalk which he and his opponent stood. "This isn't good," he mumbled before he turned and leaped off of the current catwalk which he stood on to land on one someways below. As he leaped he drew a kunai with an explosive tag upon it. He tossed the kunai in the direction of his fleeing opponent. Hopefully the slight methane would give it an added boost but not one big enough for that small tag to wipe out everything on the playing field.
Call it a stupid mistake or a smart maneuver. However it seemed ranged attacks would now be the epitome of this battle unless they were somehow able to get close into each other. Though as far as the other knew they possessed no ranged attacks, none that they have shown yet. It would be a strikingly difficult match now as each tried to close the distance while evading unexpected attacks.

"Tch!"

Geiho leaped into the air right as the explosive tag was thrown at him. The tag sailed right under him, through his legs and towards the strut he was jumping towards. Just effing great. He had managed to avoid being hit by the explosion, but now he was caught between a soon-to-be destroyed catwalk, and the soon-to-be exploding connecting strut. Just effing great.
The taijutsuist covered his face with his arms, bringing them into an X shape, and pulled his legs up to his chest. He hadn't expected the explosion to be so powerful, but the deafening blast sent him all the way back to the catwalk, slamming onto the catwalk just moments before the large cylinder bared down on the walkway. "SHI-!"

Geiho formed a handsign, unmoving as he called out his curse. Half a second later, his voice was cut off by another deafening explosion, this one sending debris and a large cloud of dust to be spread about the Oreg Oil Refinery...

" *huff* *huff* *huff* "

Geiho hung, suspended in mid-air, as he fought to catch his breath. His limbs fell limp, all but his right arm, which had grabbed hold of a twisted piece of metal, most likely from the destroyed catwalk. How he had managed to avoid being crushed was only due to a simple technique, the kawarimi. Still, he got caught in the aftermath of the blast. Now, where did that guy get off to? Oh, yeah. And how the hell am I gonna get down from here? Geiho looked downwards, then all around. The dust was still really thick, so he couldn't tell how far the drop was, or if there was even another set of catwalks beneath his dangling feet. Probably not, due to that collapsing structure. Looking up, Geiho realized that there was probably a strut right next to him. Bringing his left arm up, he began to shimmy up the twisted metal, being careful not to cut himself on the torn pieces.

The shinobi stared at his opponent from a catwalk not to far away. He leaped from that very catwalk and leaped onto the one which was now partially destroyed. "It seems you've survived that," he spoke as he neared the opponent which was currently crawling up to the catwalk by some piece of metal. The man began to create handseals and stopped when he formed the handseal of Tori, bird. "It's not like me to strike an enemy when down but it seems like this is something which I must do for this battle would just continue to drag on longer than any of us can handle." Though the man was a Taijutsuist he was also skilled in the art of Ninjutsu as well.
When the seal of Tori was formed a faint glow had formed over the shinobi. This glow slowly brightened over time and came to consume his entire body. Soon after the glow began it seemed to disappear... No. The apparent glowing began to separate and form into half-inch, white orbs of pure Raiton chakra. They looked strikingly similar to fireflies floating throughout the sky. Ten thousand of these tiny orbs began to float about Geiho. It was then that the shinobi casting the technique released the seal.
At the release of the seal the orbs would come to explode. Each of these orbs held an explosive power of electricity which shot out in a blast a half a meter in diameter. There was ten thousand of these exploding "sparks". It seemed to Velox that Geiho would be considerably stuck in his current predicament for it he fell he would most likely fall to his death, not to mention the part where he was surrounded by exploding "bugs".
