Then you have to suffer the consequences."  Adriana's gaze went back to the male trying to figure out why he might be so important. She wondered if she should actually talk to him or not, in the end she decided not to since she would have to figure out where exactly the thief would strike once more. As well as she had to get these bags home to refrigerate what she bought. She walked down the path to make her way back home once more.

 Alexis glanced up as the woman turned away. He winced fractionally as a sensation like a needle felt like it had been shoved in the base of his skull and rubbed the back of his neck. He could feel the ragged scars that criss-crossed the back of his neck and shoulders and was keenly aware of the other scars. He knew he'd been abused at a young age, yet he wasn't quite sure how he escaped without mental damage from his drunken father and demented stepmother. He didn't notice the guitar hitting the ground with a discordant note and a hollow thump as his head started aching unmercifully.

Then you have to suffer the consequences." Adriana was walking away from him to head home until she heard the guitar drop to the ground. She turned around to see the male sitting there still and wondered if something was wrong. She walked back to him to stand in front of him. "You alright?" she asked him. He had been playing his guitar or writing something for lyrics but for the guitar to be dropped troubled her.

Alexis grimaced for a moment before pulling his hand away from his left eye. "Migraine... haven't had one in several months, but they usually last a couple of hours, which is inconvenient for me since I have at least half of a music video to finish shooting," he said in a low voice.

Then you have to suffer the consequences." Adriana looked at him wanting to help him since he looked like he was in pain. "If you want I could get you something to help with the migraine?" she asked him. She would help him if he wanted something for his migraine that was hurting him.

Alexis shrugged one shoulder. "You're welcome to help if you want... I don't mind any, though..." he paused, hearing a gun c**k as his head swiveled to his left, noticing a guy holding a pistol in a shaky grip in both hands from the corner of his eye. Drug addict... probably in need of a fix or something, he thought warily. He stayed where he was, though his hand dropped to place a light grip on the neck of the guitar. "D-d-don't even think of it, b***h," the greasy haired guy stuttered. Alexis' eyes narrowed so slightly it wasn't noticeable unless you looked him straight in the eyes. He winced slightly as another pulse of pain rippled through his skull.

Then you have to suffer the consequences." Adriana wanted to help this man so when she went to turn she heard the gun cocking and knew that sound all too well. Her eyes looked to the man holding the gun shaky knowing it had to be a drug addict seeing how he was nervous. "No need to have the gun pointing. You want to tell me what you want?" she said to him. She didn't want him to shoot the gun at all and hoped that this man would walk away from her. She did have her own gun on her but she wasn't about to take it out until she had too.

"G-g-g-get my brother out of lockup... a-a-a-and I won't put a bullet in your head..." the man stuttered. Alexis tilted his head, his eyes deepening to an oceanic shade of teal (think the Carribean Sea at sunset). He suddenly twisted, lifting and half tossing-shoving the guitar as the junkie took a step forward, his foot landing with a crunch on the guitar. It's momentum threw him off balance as Alexis, forcing himself to ignore the migraine pain in his head and the fact that the sun's glare was making it more painful, darted forward as he covered the seven or eight yards to the guy. His fist flicked out and snapped the junkie's head to the left, stunning the man for an instant as the man stumbled off balance. He didn't fall, but by the time he'd regained his balance Alexis had him in a tight hammerlock hold while the guy lay several feet away, harmless.

Then you have to suffer the consequences." Adriana listened to what she had to do but frowned in response. For one she didn't even know this man's brother and secondly she just couldn't let someone out of getting locked up. She was about to say something until the man used his guitar as a weapon against the drug addict. She couldn't believe someone as stupid as him would threaten a cop who was off duty. She pulled her gun from her jacket to point it at the man who originally pointed a gun at them. "Your brother can't get out of jail until he has served whatever he got," she told the man.

"He got caught for trespassing and larceny, as I recognized this idiot from the fact he fled the scene when security caught his brother on the set yesterday," Alexis said dryly, remembering it clearly. This pathetic junkie and his brother had broken onto the set of the music video and had tried to steal two of the guitars used in the video, including one of his. He glanced down at the guitar, which was smashed in and worthless now. He winced slightly as pain rippled through his head, but forced himself to ignore it, though he knew it would hurt even more later because of it.

Then you have to suffer the consequences." Adriana looked at him listening to how the brother got caught for Trespassing and larceny. She smirked at this since on her day off this man would be arrested for threatening a cop as well as from fleeing from a crime scene. "Well. Not only is he going to get arrested for that he also is for threatening to kill a cop." she said. She kept her gun pointed at the man before calling one of her friends at work to come down to arrest him for her. She didn't want to put up with this problem since she was off work for the moment.

Alexis winced ever so slightly as his nose started bleeding, a warning sign he had to let the pain deflecting trance go. He did so and nearly fell as the light seemed to intensify until it was blinding to him as his head pounded, feeling like the bass drum at a metal concert. "Damn it," he muttered through gritted teeth; nobody knew about his problem with migraines, and he preferred to keep it that way.

Then you have to suffer the consequences." Adriana looked at the man to hear him mutter something making her worry about him. She knelt down to the man on the down now feeling bad for him. "I'll get you an ambulance," she said to him. She started to dial on her phone to get him what she had told him since it was clear that he needed medical attention.

Alexis smiled weakly. "It's just a side effect of an old martial arts trick designed to block pain for a short time... disadvantage is that when the trance is released, all of the 'blocked' pain hits at once," he said quietly. He sighed. "Guess I'll have to call the director of the video and tell him I won't be able to handle the video today... maybe tomorrow... and if you like, you're welcome on set," he said quietly, a slightly roguish half smile on his face.

Then you have to suffer the consequences." Adriana saw how he was smiling despite all the pain he was suffering all at once. "You need to get looked at. Maybe. I'll call him for you if you want," she said. She was waiting for the ambulance to come to get him so he could go to the hospital to get looked at and hopefully heal from whatever was causing the pain.
