"H-hey! Wait, you don't know what's..." Torumaru called after Church, but Church had vanished among the trees before Torumaru had finished his sentence. He turned to look at Olivia, wondering what should be done, but when he noticed that Church was getting ever further away, his brows furrowed. "I am sorry, I don't know your name, but I think we ought to go after them. Forests are dangerous if you're not prepared for them, and they're headed away from the river, which means they might not have any water, if something happens. We should go help them."
He looked at Olivia tentatively, unable to move from his spot. Because he hadn't properly met her, Torumaru wasn't sure how to gauge her reaction, and he didn't want to go running ahead if there was a chance she would get lost as well.

▲ ▼ Olivia Laurence ▲ ▼ .. And then the sky cried, for the beauty that was left unseen.Unsure of why he hadn't budged an inch, even though it was obvious he wanted to move, Olivia looked back at the direction Church had disappeared into. He was long gone by now, and the forest wasn't as safe as she had hoped. "You go, and I'll follow." Could this be her chance? Or was this just a dangerous threat that she should pass by? Swallowing, she waited for him to go on ahead, not much caring about the fact that he had in a way asked for her name. Everything he had said left her mind, all she was thinking about was the forest, the possible danger but also the possible adventure. If she were to ever be like her character, she needed to take this step. But the real question was.. Could she do it?

Hearing Olivia's words, Torumaru looked out into the forest once more, noticing the trail left on the ground by Church's steps on fallen leaves and twigs. He turned back to Olivia once more and nodded. "Stay nearby, though. I don't want you to go missing!" He turned back to the forest, pocketed his exercise journal, and jogged into the forest, following the path of broken leaves and twigs. As he moved, he jumped back and forth to change his line of sight to be sure that he was still following Church's trail, though in the back of his mind, he was wondering if Olivia had followed him. He couldn't look back without risking losing the trail he was following, and so he kept moving forward, hoping that no one had gotten lost.

After a minute of jogging, Torumaru slowed his pace, walking the rest of the distance. He had spotted Church and Carys ahead of him, and so he didn't feel as rushed. Turning around, he spotted Olivia a short distance behind him as well, and he let out a small sigh of relief. "Good, everyone is here." He looked around again, trying to get a sense of his bearings. "There is water off that way from here, that must be the river. We're headed a bit down, but not too much, so we're not near an edge..." He went on this way for some time, muttering to himself and looking around, taking in the surroundings.

[-------------------------------------------------] x x "It'll be fun! All the kids the activities, you'll make lots of friends their Saito, I'm sure you will!."
She didn't know. She didn't know just what kind of pit she had thrown him into.
"The hell are you talking about? The kid's on meds and you want to send him away to camp where we can't see him?!" And of course that man had been against it. An entire summer away from him, away from the the pain, the abuse, the rape. Of course he'd refuse to set the boy free for the remainder of the summer...
"Oh don't be like that! He needs it, its a good chance for him to socialize! Who knows, maybe it's not schizophrenia after all! Maybe it's just a phase that he needs to go through and for that he needs good people to lean on!"
"There'r two good people right here!"
"...Doesn't count..." He murmured to himself, fingers clutching a dark blue medicine box filled with antipsychotic medication close to his chest. He doesn't count. Never. Not that man. Not anyone who hurt him.
Not him.
"Monster..."
His croaked out, voice broken and in a much higher pith than it usually was. "Monster...
"Monster... Monster... Monster, monster... Monster, monster, monster, monster, monster, monster, monster, monster, monster, monster, monster...."
His body rocked back and forth underneath the shadow of the forest canopy in an attempt to quell that aching feeling, that vile feeling in the deepest pits of his stomach that brought forth the nausea that had him gagging at his own saliva.
He hated this so much that he began to laugh and cry, face contorted in a horrifying expression that was neither good nor bad, yet warned of unpleasant end all the same. He bit his lips and closed his fingers even tighter around the medicine box as he tried to hold back the maniacal laughter that usually came after every one of these.
"Mnfff... Haha... Hahaha..." But he couldn't...
And so his laughter roared and echoed through out the forest. Tears welled up in the corners of his eyes as his pupil dilated and his medication found themselves thrown against the hard trunk of the tree behind him. He stared up, eyes directed to nowhere in particular, just right up there, as if there was something there staring down at him, scrutinizing him, desiring to break him.
"It's going to eat me! Monster! Ahahaha!"
It wasn't just a phase...
Saito suffered from schizophrenia.
And whether that strange light up there was real or not, he didn't know.
