	I haven't had any friends try it. But I get PMs all the time from people pretending to be Mods. Some have taken a real PM from a Mod to make it look real. But hmm no 'title' under their user name, and they're asking for a password. Hacker? lol

	Chances are that the actual account isn't a hacker account. A favorite trick of the efftards on Gaia is to sneak onto an innocent person's account, steal their s**t, and use the leeched account to advertise whatever the hell they want. That's what happened to my sister; then she got banned and had to make a new account.
