Danny instinctively clung of Rikki's sweatshirt with one hand, and with the other, she grabbed her coat end and held it over her tail. It was like a pathetic little umbrella for her tail, but it really wouldn't work well if the whole room ended up flooding; that's where it seemed it was heading too, with how profusely the walls were leaking. This was not cool. Not cool at all.

"Ririiii. My taillll. This room does not work Riri," she whined, gesturing to the leaking walls with her head. Of course, in doing so, she noticed some of the stares she was getting. Sinking farther back in her chair, she said, "Err. I-it's nothing." She didn't want to cause another big scene, but it seemed she was already doing so.

Letting go of Rikki's sleeve, she put both hands on umbrella duty for her tail. Seriously, why couldn't this school just be a teensy bit more fire friendly? It seemed like everything was flammable, and not in the good way. Absolutely not cool.

If there was anything that could distract the glitch ghost from her consistent LEERING of the teacher's desk it was the arrival of more students and the fuss being made from one located in the center of the room. Pepin wheeled around her in chair, sitting in it the opposite position, and raised her brow in an almost smarm-like expression.

"Wait the ceiling is leaking?" How had she not even noticed this? Perhaps water felt different for her, more like a cool but dry brisk of data flying through her. Instead it was catching on her black suit and boots and making it glisten like a shiny new piece of hardware.

"Oh isn't that something~" she giggled and kicked her heels together. "What a delightful classroom Miss Savage has here~ I don't see how anyone could dislike it." she now sneered looking at the ghoul of fire. She did feel a tinge sorry for her, but damn it looked good highlighting her curvy digital bod.

Aurian flinched when the purple... girl's? ... wings launched out and scratched over several desks. She relaxed when nothing bad happened. Then she noticed the state of those wings now.

"Are you alright?" she asked, leaning over in Riley's direction. "That looks painful. Do you need some help getting those out?"

The teal-haired Reaper nodded towards the many tiny spikes of wood now stuck in Riley's wings. It would be very hard to reach back there yourself, Aurian thought with a frown, trying to picture someone trying... No, not unless they had tentacle-arms or no bones. But then, what would they use to grab the splinters?

A whimper from another girl caused Aurian to turn. A girl was on her desk, staring at the teacher in front. Aurian nodded. Yes, people should be scared of Professor Savage. Somehow both useless and ruthless on a ship - at least when it came to looking after the students. Certain that she already knew the cause of the fear, Aurian didn't pay attention to the girl's cries. If they wanted to take this class, they unfortunately had to deal with Professor Savage being there.

Finally, the hunchback gave a strangled noise in his throat, glancing away from the pale, mousy-haired ghoul to take refuge beside Mistress before anyone snagged that seat from him.

Good to be close. He could at least TRY to be useful. His mouth trembled up in a weak smile as he gave a small bow to Malodore, gingerly pointing to the new metallic appendages on it's back to see if that was what was making him cringe so. He had as of yet noticed the flaming demoness behind him.

Glancing around at the interesting things that filled the room, Riyo finally looked back at Jericho. Oh, there was Riley along with a couple of other faces she really didn't recognize. She'd seen the patchwork igor before at open house, but everyone else (save Shun, who she simply ignored) was a complete stranger.

Hopefully it would stay that way. Giving a brief wave to the mind flayer, she tried not to listen in on the conversation the two were having.. Though she imagined it had something to do with the ghoul's new appendages...

Instead of continuing the conversation, the feline faced forward. She didn't really socialize if she could help it, but it was sort of nice having someone around that she was familiar with. A small relief in case anything went horribly wrong like they were prone to doing. When a drop managed to hit her ear, both of them twitched. A sort of chill ran up her spine at the strange feel. Ugh... What was with all the water?

The door opened and a pink haired demon entered. No this was not Lizzy. This was that trouble making pink haired demon that was lovingly deemed Charlie.

He stood in the door way proudly. Long sleeves hands on his hips and a wicked smile that could possibly deem him insane. Possibly. The first thing Charlie noticed upon his entrance was Rileys wings.

Shiny wings. Glittering wings. Also, RILEYS.

The next thing the demon noticed was Christof next to the shiny things. Which almost would have repealed the demon if it weren't for, well, Rileys jack damn wings. He was like a moth to the flame, so to speak, as he literally floated over to them. Naturally, Charlie took the seat directly behind Riley. For now, all the demon did was eye ball the crystal wings. For now.

Everything else in the class was not important to the demon right then and there.

...

........

"Oh!" Oh jack, he hadn't even thought about that. Fire and water didn't mix. Right. He frowned at her and rubbed her shoulder soothingly as he slipped into the seat next to her. That must suck pretty hard. It was probably like the feeling of being in the same room as his parents. Suffocating.

"I don't know how to help," he admitted unhappily. "Is it just your tail that needs to stay dry?" He took then end her her jacket to help her umbrella it better, unsure of what else to do. He didn't know any way to plug up leaks in a classroom except for effort and sticky stuff, both of which he lacked. Well, this was going to be an interesting class.

Danny appreciated the shoulder rub. It was nice to know that someone seemed to understand her problem. She was actually sad to see him sit down, but at least he didn't flee to the back of the classroom or something.

Talking was helping too it seemed. "Uhmm ... uhm yeah, I ... I think it's just my tail. Calder and I played with it before, and it was okay on m-my hand and tummy." She flinched as another drop fell inches from her desk. "I don't think I can drink it either though. Calder s-said something about a fire in my tummy. Or something. I'm not really sure." Honestly, Danny didn't even know how her own body worked.

Danny held her tail under the desk, with her coat in between so the desk wouldn't catch on fire. She oozed her head onto the desk in utter defeat. "This school sucks big time." It was a complete lie, Danny loved this school, but she was growing irritated at the lack of care for the students on fire. At least Jericho could control his flames. She would give anything for that.

Willow hadn't minded the water, really she did try to avoid it but it was just because she hadn't wanted to actually get drowned with it. Having picked up a seat near the back in a corner where she wouldn't feel so crowded if the class room ended up with a lot of people in it.

The ghost watched others enter and then blinked as Danny basically freak out. One brow was aloft watching the fire demon. Before glancing to Riley who seemed to be having trouble with those wings on her back. That seemed to be an unfortunate problem, and perhaps a painful one. The tigress sort of wished she could help but she didn't really know what to do.

She knew a few boils and ghouls, some of them she had seen at the open house and festival, despite that fact the tigress didn't really see anyone she wanted to try to drum up a conversation with because she just didn't know them that well and most of them where already talking to their friends.

Merope loved this class. It was the best class in his eyes that Amityville had to offer! He loved every little bit and pieces of it, from the leaky ceiling to the subject matter, to the BOATS! He owed a lot to Professor Savage for exposing him to boats. It didn’t matter that he was an undead and more at home on the bottom of the ocean. Wrecking boats was in his blood.

But like every good thing, there was a high chance that it would come to an end. Merope had stopped as soon as he entered the room, staring at the students present. He... did not recognize any of them. Some of them looked a bit like students he had met before. A bit.

...But not really.

The undead sea serpent was making his way towards a desk when the fire demoness screamed. He shot her a glare of annoyance, picking an empty seat that was being directly dripped on.

With lack of anything else to do or anyone to talk to, Merope closed his eyes and let the water from the ceiling drip down onto him.

"You don't drink water?" He didn't know why the sounded so weird to him. It made sense with the way she was freaking out, but it just seemed strange. He probably just needed to hang out with other classes of students more, because he was so used to the reaper lifestyle.

"Hey," he cooed, tilted his head down to her eye level. "The whole school doesn't suck. Just that part where we have to go to classes." He loved pretty much everything else. It was a freedom he'd never had before. "We'll get through this class and then we'll go see how Moure's doing with getting us a venue."

Riley didn't realize that, when Aurian asked her if she needed help, she was referring to the splinters. She merely thought Aurian meant the crystals themselves, which did look rather painfully jammed into her back, after all. She turned her head, and shook it sullenly. They don't come out. Riley answered in her misconception.

Christof's sudden appearance had Riley turning towards him, to keep her wings from touching his skin. Christof, are you sure you want to sit next to me? I don't want to hurt you..

Of course, as soon as she said it, she waved back to Riyo, which made her shoulder flex. The wing responded by flapping, coming dangerously close near Charlie behind her. She straightened her back in a rigid posture, reigning them in, before finally slumping back as best as she could, letting the crystals dig into the wood of the chair.

Aurian jumped when the reply from the purple girl came directly into her mind. It took her a moment or two to process the strange sensation - hearing without hearing. A bright grin split her face. Forget that a dreaded figure from the past was leading the class, never mind that drops of water kept hitting the top of her head. The world around her was brilliant and exciting and it was teaching Aurian new things all the time.

"That is an amazing way to talk," she decided. "And I'm sorry about the splinters." It was such a shame that they were stuck in there permanently. Aurian hoped that they didn't hurt.

Her fellow classmates were all very interesting. She couldn't help but sneak peeks at several of them, wondering about species and traits. A boy who'd just sat down looked very much at home in the leaking room. Though it was possible he'd prefer it if the room were actually filled with water, she laughed to herself.

Mot remembered this class. He remembered it for the fun boat building. While he wasn't sure if it was a relevant thing for him to learn regarding humans, it was certainly a fun class assignment. Mot figured coming to class today meant an easy day to slack off in, or perhaps learning something of use. Win win.

The reaper walked into class, instantly sighing inwardly at the state of the leaky state is was always in. Hopefully he would be as lucky as the first class and avoid being soaked.

Familiar faces littered the room, but Mot wasn't comfortable interrupting conversations like he normally would. For now, he took a seat nearby and waited for the start of class.

Sharp jagged crystals did come very dangerously close to Charlie. But the enchanted demon did not move. No, he just sat there and stared. There was only one thing that could break the demons concentration and that was the appearance of a certain van driver.

"...YOU!" He called out to Mot from across the class room. He was pointing and had a dramatic face frozen in place. It only lasted a moment though. The crystals on Rileys back really caught the demons attention. It was almost the equivalent of one jingling keys in front of a child. Needless to say, Charlie could have stared at the shiny wings on Rileys backs for hours and hours.
