I'll find a way to save you Melanie nodded at what he said and then smiled slightly when he said that she'd be there soon. "Yeah, but I don't know if I'm gonna go that far away. I like the States too much. Of course, I'm not against visiting other countries if I ever get the chance one day," she said with a wistful little smile. "Ah, I see. You just wanted to become a lazy American, huh?" Melanie teased him as she laughed a little at this. "I moved here for a change of pace I guess. Mom and dad move around a lot, I think that longest I've been in one place was for about four years? Can't quite remember. It's mainly dad's job, he'll get moved to a different position in the company or something and he has to change his work location because of it," she said with a shrug.
Melanie felt bad for lying to him like this. Just about every word that was coming out of her mouth that had to do with any sort of background was a lie. Of course, what else was she supposed to say? That she was an angel sent to protect him? Of course not. He'd think she was absolutely and completely crazy for that one. Still, it went against what she usually did to lie but she found herself to be fairly good at it. She wasn't sure if that was a comforting thought or not. "I've come to regard all my 'friends' that I make as temporary since I know that I won't stay for long. I do keep in touch with a few though," she said simply with a small smile. "What are you studying in college? she asked.

 Reginer Audo He laughed " No I've always been lazy, America is just the best place to do it." he said. Reginer smiled and looked outside " Psychology mostly II really want to be a psychologist when I'm done with school." he yawned " I've met some really great people in my classes who pretty much have the same goal." he looked at her " What are you going to go for when you get to college?" he asked her. He wasn't getting an untruthful feeling from the girl though she was lying to him and he usually could tell but she was obviously good at it even for an angel. He yawned " I kinda see you doing something that requires a lot of work." he said " What kind of student are you?" he asked her turning back around.

I'll find a way to save you Melanie pondered over that bit of information when he said that he wanted to be a psychologist. From what she knew of him, she thought that he would make a good one. "Being a psychologist seems cool," she said with a nod of her head. When he asked her what she wanted to do when she got to college, Melanie found the question kind of amusing. "Let's just say I like to help people," she said with a smile that seemed to suggest that her thoughts were a little elsewhere. It was the first close-to-truth she'd told so far. She did like help to people and protect them, but she was pretty sure an angel with wings wasn't what was going to come to his mind. "I'm thinking about maybe being a nurse," she said to him after a seconds thought, figuring that would be a fitting profession for her nature and if she'd been human, that's probably what she would've chosen for herself. "I'm a good student. I study hard and get fairly good grades. I've never seen the point in going to school if you weren't going to pay attention," she said truthfully, taking this peice of personal opinion from the times that she was a student under the angels. Even some of them would goof off like humans too at times.
Melanie glance outside and noticed that the sun was starting to go down a bit, pretty soon it would be dark. "It was nice to meet you Reginer, but I really must go," she said to him as she headed for the door. "Maybe I'll see you around sometime. Thanks for hanging out with me for a bit," she told him as she walked outside. As soon as she rounded the corner, she let herself fade from humans sight and let her wings unfold though she stayed human looking. I need to find an apartment if I'm to keep this facade up, she thought to herself as she flew in the direction of the apartment building she had mentioned earlier.

Reginer Audo He watched her go and stood up stretching and yawning loudly as he walked out. He soon revived a call and looked around before answering the phone it was a friend of his asking if he wanted to come over for a moment. Reginer was bored so he answered though while was talking he absent mindedly walked into the street where he was almost hit by a car though he avoided it narrowly. He didn't seem to care though he continued on walking towards is friends house which was right by the library of course. He yawned again and when he got there mostly all of his friends were there just hanging out. He joined them and together they were killing time though most of them did note he looked sick and should go home and lay down he ignored it saying he was fine and continued on without a problem.

I'll find a way to save you In the time that Melanie was gone, she'd taken those few moments to get herself an apartment. The only slight trouble she faced was the fact that she had no money currently on her, but they'd told her if she had it by tomorrow it wouldn't be that big of a deal. Getting it would be a simple task in Mel's case. They had angels down on earth whose only job was to be able to provide money to other angels that needed it from time to time. Those angels lived and worked on earth like normal humans and mingled frequently. With that done, she decided to return to Reginer though this time invisible of course as she changed back into her angel form since she'd no longer have to speak to any humans for a while.
Once she located Reginer, she walked into the house recognizing it as one of his friends house. There were several people in the room, but it didn't take her long to spot Reginer amongst the guys playing video games and lazing around. She walked around them all, carefully making sure that she didn't brush them in anyway, knowing it would be confusing for them if all the sudden they felt someone yet they couldn't see anybody. Melanie went and stood int he corner of the room, watching as usual. She could see the concern that his friends had for him and she had no doubt that they'd suggested he'd go home, but, stubborn as always, Reginer wasn't going to. "If you'd just take someone's advice for yourself sometimes, maybe it'd be beneficial to you," she whispered queitly as she shook her head with a small sigh.

Reginer Audo Reginer stayed with his friends until nightfall before they all started to go home. He had to walk of course as his car wasn't repaired yet he was actually amazed he wasn't destroyed along with it in the car wreak so it would probably be awhile before he actually trusted the wheel. His walk home was slow as he was a little tired but it wasn't something so bad he'd just break down and start crying. Once he got home he immediately sat down on the couch and took deep breaths only to let them out. His heart was beating fast. He laid across the couch and turned on the TV again just taking some time to rest his legs and feel a little better before he moved about. He changed it to boomerang beacuse even though he was 19 he enjoyed old cartoons as much as many child would. He would even watch Nick Jr some times to get a little bit of that innocence in a child's show.

I'll find a way to save you Melanie dutifully followed him home watching him and thinking of other things at the same time. She found it funny that if she were human, following someone like this would be considered a stalker, but to angels it was second nature to do so. To not follow them was something that was rare, not the other way around. When they reached his house, Melanie went and sat on the arm of the couch. Her wings accidentally brushed his legs, but Mel hadn't noticed that she'd done so, she was simply glancing at the tv set. Melanie paused for a second as she got a familiar call to come up to the council of angels for yet another meeting. It was then a call than rather a feeling that she got in her mind. While she knew it was wrong and not right to ignore the call, Mel was tired and needed some sleep so she decided to skip despite what problems she might face later. She figured that they would understand if she explained herself a bit if they truly seeked her out.

Reginer Audo Reginer suddenly jumped when he felt something soft brush again his leg. He looked around and checked the couch but found nothing he then went over to the window but it was closed " That was odd....I felt something." he said and shrugged sitting back down. He soon got hungry and went into the kitchen and start cook some dinner. Reginer was actually a very good cook though most of the time he was just to lazy or often too hungry to wait. He would really remain rather inactive for the rest of the night like usual. Once dinner was done he sat down on the couch again and changed it to I.D which was his favorite channel. He yawned and continued to eat watching a show on old murders. He checked his couch again to make sure nothing was there before he laid down.

I'll find a way to save you Melanie silently chastised herself for being so careless, she hadn't even noticed that she'd brushed against him. You really do need some rest, Mel, she thought to herself as she quickly moved her legs out of the way so Reginer wouldn't trip over them when he walked to check the window. She stayed on the couch while he went to fix himself something to eat, but moved once he returned so he could lay back on the couch again. Melanie went to walk around the house to see if anything had changed. She didn't often walk the whole house, but mainly stayed downstairs. This time she decided to walk up the stairs to see if there was anything interesting. When she got to a small coffee table in the hall, she saw a reminder card for the doctor's appointment that was coming up soon. While she was glad that he'd finally made one, she still wished he would go sooner. Still, it wasn't something that was going to be able to be rushed.
After a while, Melanie grew bored and she walked back down the stairs and sat up against the wall near the tv. She leaned her head against the side of the wall and slowly her eyes. While she hadn't meant to, she found herself falling asleep slowly and she didn't fight it. Melanie was a light sleeper so if anything she'd happen, she'd wake up to see what was a matter in plenty of time if needed. She hoped though, that she wouldn't have to be awoken for anything and that Reginer would be alright for the time being.

Reginer Audo Reginer soon feel asleep right after her though he fell to the floor but that's kinda where he was comfortable and since his floor was carpet it was fine to him.After a few hours though he woke up and made his way upstairs and got into bed and went back to sleep as it was somewhat peaceful. However in the middle of the night he woke up holding his chest again as the pain was back but something kept him from making any noise. He just bent over and shut his eyes tight hoping for the pain to stop. Hep probably should have set his doctors appointment earlier but it wasn't this bad before and he was more concerned with the test. He'd never had these problems during school just after. After an hour of continuous pain he felt much better and laid down going to sleep like it never happened but he would probably have to make sure to watch for his appointment so he didn't miss it beacuse now even Reginer was worried.

I'll find a way to save you Melanie had awoken slightly when she heard a soft, muted thud on the carpet, but when she noticed Reginer still asleep, she fell back to sleep as well. She didn't notice him when he'd made his way back upstairs and Melanie found herself to stay fast asleep all night long till the sun came through the window in the morning and woke her. She got up from the floor, stretching once she stood up and yawned slightly, feeling well rested. With a sleep that good she knew that she could go on for a few more days if she needed to without rest. She walked up the stairs quietly to the bathroom mirror, fixing her hair from it's sleepy state and making sure her wings remained looking nice.
Melanie tilted her head slightly when she walked out of the bathroom and into the hall, seeing if she could hear anything from Reginer's room that was out of place. After listening for a second, she figured everything was fine since all she could hear was the sound of him softly breathing. Melanie walked back down the stairs and stood looking outside the window, the sunshine filtering through and warming her face slightly though she noticed the clouds in the distance that seemed to suggest that it would rain soon or at least cloud the sun.

Reginer Audo Reginer stayed asleep for ours though as he was sleeping well. Once he woke up he looked at his calender and realized it was Sunday making him sigh. He had school tomorrow and he was enjoying his weekend. He ran downstairs and fixed himself some cereal and turned on the radio to a classical station. He went and got dressed in moderately normal cloths. He went over to a closet and opened it pulling out a box. He pulled out two angel statues and sat them on the table back to back. He was actually meaning to do this as he made these years ago when he was in Germany for sculpture class and they were pretty decent though the paint job wasn't the best it was good enough. He smiled " Glad I made these things...I hope their good luck like my teacher said when I made them." he said to himself and walked outside and stretched and started to jog around the neighborhood.

I'll find a way to save you Melanie turned around from her spot at the window when she heard Reginer run down the stairs and get to his morning routine. When he pulled out a box from the closet, Melanie found herself to be curious as to what might be inside so she walked a little closer to him to see what he was going to pull out. When she saw that two angels statues were what he'd gotten out, she smiled slightly, not knowing that he had such things. Once he'd left, she'd got a closer look at them amazed at how he'd made the little sculptures, they looked so nice.
Soon she followed Reginer, noticing that he was going for a jog and that she was definitely going to follow him incase something happened to him. While she thought he seemed pretty well this morning, she knew how quickly those things could change with him lately. Melanie however wasn't one who enjoyed running all that much and instead opted to fly above him instead. Mel grimaced slightly when she saw her shadow on the ground. When she was just walking, it was an easy matter to conceal, when she was flying it would sometimes become a little harder. She obscured it slightly though and unless someone was paying attention to it, she didn't think it would attract notice.

Reginer Audo Reginer continued to jog around and he was actually amazed he felt so good. He soon took off into a fast run towards the park and by the time he reached the park he fell down to take a breather sitting on the bench. He should have brought some water but luckily there were fountains for use which he made sure to. He sighed and sat down " Two more days before I got to see the doctor and yet I felt a little better." he said and then stood up before jogging again but around and through the park making sure to avoid the street as he might get run over as soon as people started coming out. He then noticed something odd a shadow following but he didn't see anything so he just assumed it was some bird out of his view that he was apparently following or it was following him which he was fine with.

I'll find a way to save you Melanie continued to follow him around, not boring of it even though most people might've been so by now. She did however, choose to land and decided to run along behind him a little ways. She didn't get the sense and feeling of physical excerise the way humans did, to her it felt a lot like simply walking. She often thought it was sad sometimes that she couldn't experience physical exhertion and the feeling of accomplishment you got at having out run your personal record or somethiing. With all the things that she had to do though, getting physically tired like that wouldn't suit her angelic lifestyle. She was expected to do far too much to get like that.
