It's spring down in the southern hemisphere so halloween mainly involves killer scary allergies and sniffles eek
Also where I live we don't really celebrate halloween so my first was on gaia and i was lucky enough to share it with Madame Vita *huggles*

So jack lanterns i hear are popular? but what to do with all that pumpkin? SOUP! perfect for when you get an autum chilll

3 cloves garlic,
1 leek
1 brown oniom or many shalots (don't get ripped off with pickling onions)
1 cup red lentils i used dried
and stock either vegie or chicken (can substitute with water)
chopped pumkin flesh (the bigger the chunks the longer it will take to cook.

add a bit of vegtable oil in the bottom of pot then add diced or finally chopped leek and onion also crsh in the garlic. Slowly fry untill brow and everyone is drooling from the smell.
Add chopped pumkin and lentils then add stock untill it covers all the pumpkin, bring to boil and then let simmer untill done.

I know tell me about it I really dig the Easter items <3 X3 o.o Oh snap XD something just occurred to me I can be a zombie o.o oooh or a ghost XD Damn now I have loads of options...Anyways yeah Agreed way underrated.
