[EXAM] Savages Survival [Group 4]

Xiu was understandably alarmed when the corgi who had bucked her off so violently approached her...and she was then very surprised when it suddenly licked her. The baku blinked blankly, and then she smiled up at the creature, giving it a pat on the nose as it pushed her out of the pen. "You're actually awfully sweet, aren't you?"

Of course, her smile faltered slightly as she was pushed right in front of professor Savage. Looking a little sheepish, she bobbed her head at the professor's words. "Y-yes. I--ah--thank you though!" She bowed, looking up to see Mot getting deposited on the ground beside her. Her grin was back then, and she held a hand out to the cowboil to help him up.

"Congratulations, Mot! That was very impressive!"

As if spurred on, the Corgiclops continued the shaking to try and throw the kitsune off of it and Tomoko did not like the feeling of her deathgrip not being so..deathy anymore. But still, squealed of laughter came from the girl. Possible flying or not, she was certainly enjoying herself a lot, even as she shifted her hands to try and get a better grip on her mount of choice.

And there it was. Unlike the cowboil, it seemed that little kitsunes were not made for holding on to Corgiclopses and with another shake of the mount's body, her fingers slid loose and Tomoko was not only dropped, but she was completely bucked, complete with a few feet of air and a hit to the ground that was probably a bit harder than it should have been.

Still, she rolled and sat up.

"THAT WAS SO MUCH FUN!" she seemed to at least not mind her failure, if nothing else.

Hel was rather ecstatic about taking her exam to advance onto the next level, and especially so since it was with Professor Savage. The valkyrie had been expecting the leaky class room…so to be greeted by a farm instead was rather startling at first, but not unwelcome. It reminded her of home and that was nostalgic.

The reaper seemed amused at said Professor’s get up, and appreciated her somewhat attempt at an accent, before turning her attention back to the monster Corgis. Ride them, huh? That seemed rather fun! Was this really a test? Would this prove she was a great warrior if she managed to hang on long enough? Eh, only one way to find out. An exam was an exam, after all, but it was still a challenge too, one she must overcome! Hel snorted with amusement as she was handed a cowboil hat. Who was really enjoying this entire exam, she wondered. The reaper placed it on her head and then selected a monster Corgi.

The valkyrie wasted no time in just boldly leaping onto its back, grabbing onto the saddle firmly as the corgi started to buck. The ghoul seemed to be hanging on like a pro for now though. Heh! This was good so far!

Tomo's corgis whole body wiggled in a happy motion. It ran up behind the kitsune and nuzzled her happily, then jumped from side to side in a playful bowing manner. A little playful Arrrooooooograwwwrrrr sound escaped its maw before it nuzzled the kitsune out of the pen the same way Xius corgi had done to her.

Savage was waiting with the gate open with a dangerous smile. "I'm sorry but you failed. Nice riding though." Savage tilted her hat to Tomo. It would seem the professor was in an eerily good mood. Who could blame her with giant corgis all around?

Who was still hanging on like a pro with no problem? Hel apparently!

Maybe leaping onto the backs of all those skeletal horses on her neighbors’ farms while she was growing up was an excellent idea in hindsight! Who knew those childish thrill seeking antics would contribute to her pursuit of knowledge and Fear. Was she supposed to be having fun during an exam?

(Round 2)

Uh oh. Hel knew she shouldn’t get too cocky or comfortable too soon!

The reaper was just a smidgeon concerned as she felt her grip slip just a tiny bit. Her brows furrowed in concentration as the Corgi monster continued to buck, and she flattened her wings against her back…just to be on the safe side. Come on Hel, you could do this! She couldn’t write home saying she…she…

No. She couldn’t think it even!

(Round 3)

Hel had been so focused on her grip possible slacking, the next thing she kne—

“Oof!”

Why hello there, fence! See, there was a reason Hel tucked her wings against her body. It would have been disastrous if she hit that fence with them out and opened! Despite this hit, she was still holding on fine though, just like a good valkyrie should.

(Round 4)

Uh oh. Again.

After the bucking Corgi moved away from the fence, Hel felt her grip slip more.

No…!

She felt like she was close! She could do this! She just had to hang in there for a bit longer!

(Round 5)  

[Lucyal]

Pfffft.

Why was she worried? Hel had started this like a pro, and she finished it like a pro.

Who was mentally bragging?

Hel Brynhildr.

Owning this monster Corgi like a true mighty and proud valkyrie warrior should! The reaper held on for as long as she needed to, and once she was allowed off, she leapt from the corgi’s back, giving the mighty beast a firm, hearty pat and a laugh before proudly marching her way back out of the pen. Looks like someone would be writing home with a good story to tell!

(Round 6 – Success)

"Eeeheeeheeheee!" Tomoko didn't seem to mind she'd failed, nodding to the examiner. "I understand!" she said, smiling as she allowed herself to be herded out of the pen, just to turn around and start scratching the guy's nose again, speaking in an almost baby-affectionate manner to it..complete with cooing.

Cooooo~

"Aren't you the sweetest? Aww, yes you are! You are! Yeeeeesssssssssssss!!!"

There were possibly hearts happening.

Hels corgi followed the ghoul to the gate. And then gave the ghoul a big puppy eye wanting to give her a lick. For ever alone corgi was forever alone.

Savage wasn't paying attention to the corgi though. Tomo's cuteness had away of drawing attention even to one as strange as Savage. She only turned her head when Hel walked through the gate with a huge sharp toothed grin on her face.

"Way to represent for us ghouls!" The professor held her fist out to Hel for a fist bump. "Thats a pass."

Yeah. Savage was cheery. ALMOST as happy as she was around boats. -ALMOST-  

[Bittiface]

Was.. this it? The beast tamed, now leading Mot in his walk back to the professor. He's bested the beast! Mot's eyes were alight with pride and honor! A victory march! A walk of glory! A---

And then he was dumped onto the ground.

"Hnngk!" Mot landed on his rear, a little dizzy after all the riding and bucking. His attention was drawn upward as Savage announced it. He'd passed. A grin full of sunshine and happiness overpowered Mot's features. He had passed!

"Thanks!" He said back to Savage and Xiu, getting himself back on his feet. Hie then leaned on the fence post to watch the others.

Just in time for Hel to pass and return! She'd done amazing. "Right on, Hel!" Mot cheered.

Aww, Hel wasn’t one to turn her back on a critter, especially a critter she had conquered over. The ghoul paused, and let herself be licked by the giant monster corgi, laughing all the while. She ever placed the cowboil hat she had been wearing on its head. “A memento of this day, friend.” She told it, giving it another hearty pat before making her way out of the pen.

Woah…if it had been a good day, it was an excellent one now. Praise from Professor Savage and a fist bump motion? Hel was grinning widely, her chest swelling with pride as she bumped fists back with the professor proudly. Good thing Mot taught her how to do that, or she’d look really stupid right now. “It was an honor to do so, Professor Savage!” Hel returned, still grinning as she moved by her and over to where Mot and Xiu were. “Greetings, friends!” She was still grinning, especially after receving further praise from the cowboil. “Hey, pssssst.” She whispered to the other two. “…I had Backstreet Boils stuck in my head the entire time.”

Mot was still filled with glee and excitement over the pass, his little cowboil heart overstimulated with things! So many things! He grinned back at Hel, though he simply burst into a fit of laughter at her proclomation.

"Seriously? That's ridiculous! You don't ride a bucking corgiclops with a boilband song in your head!" The reaper held his stomach as he continued to howl.
